Kaan put out a bottle of water and take a few sips then looked at the black-haired guy standing next to the door.
"Want some water?"
"Yes, would be nice."
Kaan rolled the bottle to his side.
"Thanks."
He picked up and drank water then put the bottle next to him.
"Ahem, ahem"
The suit-wearing guy coughed lightly to gather our attention.
"We were together for a while, but we don't even know each other's names. I'm Thar, I am an architect and 27 years old."
After he finished his introduction, Kaan looked at him in disbelief.
"What's happened?"
He must've caught his looks.
"You look older, I thought you were in your thirties."
"What, man? I'm not that old!"
He said in a grumpy manner, but Kaan could see that he was grinning slightly.
"I'm Emily. I'm studying civil engineering and I'm 23 years old."
Emily continued after Thar as she smiled at their interaction.
"I'm Dean. I'm studying machine engineering, I'm 21."
Said Dean while playing with the bottle Khan rolled him. Kaan could see Thar looking at him to continue.
"I'm Kaan. I'm 22 this year."
Kaan introduced himself like the rest of them.
"Nice to meet you all!"
Thar said in a slightly loud and cheerful voice. Kaan could see Dean nodding his head, agreeing with him.
After that, the room was in silence once again.
'It looks like our meeting phase is over now.'
Kaan got up from where he was standing and after swiping his clothes walked to the Dean. Kaan could feel curious eyes of Dean on him when he got in front of him.
"Let's find you a bag, you will need it."
He said to Dean and offered him his hand to support him in getting up.
Dean grabbed his hand and got up. He didn't say anything, but Kaan knew he agreed to this idea.
When they moved to the door, he was That and Emily looking at him with a smile on their face but without saying anything he left the room along with Dean.
They walked into the quiet corridor and move into a few rooms, but they were not able to find anything other than scraps, broken items, some clothes and a few zombies.

In the fifth room, Kaan once again opened the door and moved back for a sudden attack, but it was empty inside. Both of them moved inside and began to look for anything that can be useful.
"Was it someone close?"
Kaan asked Dean when he was checking.
"What?"
Dean raised his head under the bed he was checking and looked the Kaan.
"The one you saw at the entrance. Was it someone close?"
Kaan asked once again as he continued to check the shelves. The room was in silence for a few seconds until Dean broke it.
"She was my childhood friend, maybe calling her my sister would be more suitable for our relationship. For 14 years we have always been together and now suddenly she is not here anymore."
Kaan could hear his firm voice, but it was easy to understand that he was in a fragile state.
"You have to get over it…"
"It's not that easy, it's not."
Dean said with a harsh voice as if he was receiving an attack.
Kaan turned around and looked Dean in the face. He could see the anger, the grief, the hurt. Kaan wasn't sure if should persuade this talk but decided to tell whatever he was thinking.
"I know it's not easy but we must move on even if it's hard. Being in a state firstly could hurt you and then cause harm to the others around you. Living is also a form of grief because I'm sure she would like you to let go of your grief to survive."
'Rather than die like her.'
He thought like that but chose to not say that part. When he looked at Dean he could still see many emotions on his face but also a thoughtful look. Dean didn't say anything and Kaan didn't wait for it and moved to the workplace of the dorm room.
As Kaan was about the open the room he felt a piercing pain in his head as some visions began to appear in his mind.
In the vision, he was standing where he was looking at the Dean. Dean's head was on the bed; he was lying there with lifeless eyes a zombie was eating his throat. The bed was painted red by the gushing blood.
Kaan was watching this scene without moving, he didn't know how he felt but he could feel his hands trembling uncontrollably as a question echoed in his mind again and again.
'Was it because of me?'
'Was it because of me?'
'Was it…'
And then the vision stopped, and the only thing left was the pain you felt. Kaan wanted to put his hands on his head and clench his eyes but didn't do it.
He quickly turned around and looked behind Dean. A zombie was crawling slightly towards him, without causing any noise. Dean was fully unaware of it as he looked at Kaan.
It was too dangerous to warn him, it would probably confuse him but there was no way Kaan could reach the zombie before it attacked the Dean.
Kaan raised his trembling hand in the air and once again the time started to slow down as a red glowing card appeared in front of his hand.
The card then disappear leaving a red trail behind and a fire bolt appeared in front of his hand. It was surrounded by more fire than before as it was ready to launch.
Kaan without wasting time and threw the fire bolt. It fastly moved toward Dean and passed his shoulder only a few centimetres and hit the zombie before it could attack Dean.
The fire bolt hit the zombie on its jaw and tore a part of it and then hit the wall with a loud 'thud' voice before it stooped.
