Kaan saw Dean turning back. Dean instinctively kicked the zombie behind him and then moved away quickly.
Kann also ran towards the zombie after he used the fire bolt and after Dean kicked him away he finished the job.
"Are you okay?"
He moved next to Dean and checked if there was any problem. He looked just dumbfounded by the situation but quickly came to his senses and grabbed his sword.
"How did you realize it?"
"It's not what's important right now. It caused too much noise we need to get out of here quickly."
Kaan saw Dean looking at him with questioning eyes but he ignored it and helped him to get up.
"You are all okay, right?"
Kaan asked once again to be sure.
"Yeah, thanks to you."
"Good. Grab the bag and let's get out of here."
Dean put on the backpack he found and they headed to the door but then suddenly it opened strongly.
Kaan saw Thar and the door with the cub on his while Emily secured his behind. He could also see the two dead bodies of zombies on the ground.
"Are you okay?"
Thar asked quickly with an anxious tone and gave a look around the room.
"Yeah, we're all right but we need to leave quickly."
"Zombies already to pass the furniture and heading here."
Thar informed them as he looked at Dean and at the zombie on the ground.
"Come on then."
Kaan said and all of them moved to the room under renovation. Kaan saw the zombies moving slowly towards them. He was sure in minutes this corridor would be full of zombies.
They quickly reached the room and Dean closed the door.
"What happened there?
There asked looking at Kaan and Dean.
"While I was looking for stuff a zombie sneak up behind me. I wasn't able to see it coming and nearly got bitten but Kaan took care of it."
As Dean finished his words three of them looked at Kaan.
"How were you not able to find out coming zombie coming towards you?"
Thar asked Dean.
"I don't know, it just didn't make any noise, moved sneakily."
Dean answered in a bothered tone to Thar but Kaan could see that Thar wasn't satisfied with the answer. Kaan could see that this question would continue so he decided to step into the conversation.
"It's like he's said Thar. It didn't move like how they normally move, it was more of an ambush."
"Like a human."
Emily mumbled what she was thinking.
"Yes, I am sure it was aiming at his throat, to a vital point. I am not sure but it seemed that the zombie knew that it would be enough to kill Dean. And if I realised it a little later, it would have succeeded it."
Kaan looked at the Dean who was listening to them quietly in the corner. He thought about the vision and remembered how Dean lying on the bloody bed with his half-gone throat and lifeless eyes while the zombie continued eating his flesh.
'It must have been real but what caused me to have this vision? It must be an ability, right? I'll check it later.'
First, they need to decide what to do.
Seeing Kaan looking at him with a serious gaze like when he saved him from that zombie caused him to Dean gulped lightly and caressed his throat.
"Do you think they are evolving?"
Emily asked with a thoughtful voice While Thar walked and reclined to the wall behind her, listening to you his eyes closed.

"I don't think that's the case. You know that we all have stats now and like us they must have these stats. I'm not sure if the intelligence stat is connected with being wise but I think it just had a high intelligence stat for a zombie. I also think they will evolve as you said, you all levelled up right?"
Kaan could see all of them nodding.
"It wouldn't be a survival if it was just zombies, like how we are getting stronger they also need to get stronger or something stronger than them will come. You must have thought about it right, Emily?"
When Kaan finished talking he saw Emily looking with a smile like she was satisfied.
"You are right. It wouldn't be a survival game without stronger enemies. Could you tell me what will you do after we got out of the Dormitory?"
She asked looking at Kaan and Dean.
"I didn't think about it but I'll probably look for people."
Dean answered quickly and now Emily's eyes focused on Kaan.
Kaan looked at Emily, she was giving a weird aura: it was giving confidence and sturdiness.
'She is like a leader.'
It reminded Kaan of his feelings when he would read about a leader in a book.
'Is she strong enough to be one, tho?'
He once again inspected her carefully and thought about her actions. She was by no means weak, if she was weak she couldn't hold on when they were surrounded by the zombies and she also knew how she need to act. She was also moving with a clear mind until now.
'But it feels like there's something more. She must be hiding something, no, she's hiding something.'
He felt something was missing but he couldn't point it out. He was just sure of one thing, if he was not in the cafeteria to help them she wouldn't be the one dying there.
'First in the cafeteria and then in that room, this guy is kinda unlucky.'
He thought as he gave a quick glance to the Dean.
"I have a few ideas but I wanted to see the outside before deciding what to do."
Kaan answered Emily's question, now he could hear the sounds of the zombies in the hall and their hands hitting the wall and the door.
"Then why don't you come with us? We are planning to head to the outer parts of the city, to the forest, after looking for goods in a supermarket on our way."
"Why you are heading to the outer parts of the city?"
Khan asked her.
"Before we come into the dormitory we were able to city's situation the inner parts were not looking very well and I think most of the zombies spread from the inner parts from the way of their movements."
"Okay, it looks like a good plan."
Kaan said to her. In the beginning, he was thinking of moving alone but after spending time with them he decided it wouldn't be bad to move into a group. Having strong people around was nice and most importantly…
'They do not seem bad.'
He wasn't trusting them fully but he knew that Dean was a simple guy and Thar looked like the quickly connecting and caring type. He didn't have an about Emily but if he was together with Thar it shouldn't be too different.
Now only one left was Dean.
"I'm also okay with it."
He answered. He looked relaxed and somewhat happy because he was in a team now.
"Then welcome to the team."
Emily said smiling.
"Yeah, welcome to the team guys but we better move now or our team will not last long."
Thar said grinning and pushed himself to the front and stretched his back then moved closer to Emily.
"You all ready?"
Kaan asked them one last time as he opened the curtains and looked outside. When everyone nodded he raised the baseball bat and broke the windows.
"Then, let's go."
He said and jumped outside from the broken window, it was time to see the outside.
