I opened up my eyes, and I was back on the train. Chloe waved at me with a smile on her face.

"So! You are back again, but this time you have a bit of experience! And you look less confused, which is good. You look like you might even pull the kill off this time!" Chloe cheered, but I put a hand up.

"Wait, don't disappear yet. How long since the last time that I was here?" I asked quickly, and Chloe put up two fingers, and then I sighed. Now that I knew where to go and what to do, Ace would be an easy kill.

"Two years! You looked relieved, so let me pop your bubble! Ace Mentura has worked hard to get stronger since you almost killed him! He hunts in a large party and usually stays with them most of the time," Chloe explained with way more excitement than I felt was required considering how much that fucked up my plans, but I would just have to head to my storage and figure out things from there.

"Thanks, but will anyone remember me?" I asked, but Chloe shook her head.

"No, you get off easy there. Every time you enter a world, all memory of you is wiped, but Ace will recognize you if you try to kill him. You are going to want to make sure that you are the one that makes the killing this time. Don't rush it! Aquaria is a friend, and I know what you are going to do after this, so I want to see you succeed, so level up whatever class you get. You are built to be better than everyone else in this world, like a player with cheats. You gain more experience, do more base damage, and so on, but at a low level, that all means nothing. Fifty percent of ten is five, but of one thousand, it is five hundred. Do you get my drift?" Chloe inquired, and I nodded. "Time is much slower here, so you have two years before Aquaria has to leave. Please do your best, Trigger."

"Yeah… what are you going to do after this?" I asked out of curiosity, but she smiled and turned away from me. She snapped her fingers, then reached up and touched something on the back of my neck. Then Chloe was gone in a flash of light as everything went white again.

I woke again as the train came to a stop, and I got up and off the train and weaved through the crowd that was trying to board. There weren't any homeless people or ones begging for change, but I only looked briefly as I scanned until I found an electronic billboard. I summoned my map and then mentally asked for a route to my storage. A red line appeared on the map, and I began to follow it through the streets.

I reached my storage after a few minutes of walking and looking around to watch out for something bad to happen, but strangely, nothing did. I used my thumb on a scanner to open the unit, and the door slid open on its own. It was a small room that held a bed, dresser, computer desk with a laptop on it, and chair. I walked over to the computer and booted it up before sitting in the chair. After logging in, I went on the dark web and pulled up some records for Ace Mentura before printing them out.

Most were just hunting reports of his group and what monsters they had killed recently, but there was also a personal file. I opened it and started to read through it. Ace Mentura was twenty-six years old, five feet eleven inches tall, and two hundred and thirty pounds. He had short black hair now, brown eyes, and dark skin. There were some pictures included in the file as well. The first one was his driver's license photo which wasn't the best quality, but it would do. The second one showed him smiling with a few other people in front of a large fire that was crackling away merrily in what looked like a stone fireplace. Everyone except for Ace was holding drinks while he held up two fingers in a peace sign behind them with an arrogant smile on his face while the others mugged for the camera.

I saved the pictures to my laptop before printing out the rest of the information on him, which didn't take long since there wasn't much else besides hunting reports. After I finished reading through everything, I leaned back in my chair and sighed before getting up from it and going over to my bed, where I flopped down onto it face first into my pillow with an exhausted sigh as I mentally began to plan how I would kill Ace this time around.

Then I rolled over and frowned. Where were all the weapons that I was supposed to have access to?

I got up and walked back over to the computer, but instead of using the mouse and keyboard this time, I used my thoughts. I requested information on how to find my weapons, and I got another map, but this location was in a much larger area of the storage complex.

I found the room, and it was a lot bigger on the inside than it looked on the outside. There were racks on racks of all sorts of weapons as well as armor. I walked over to one that had swords and began to look at them before taking one down and inspecting it, then putting it back right away.

"Status," I said simply, and a window appeared before me with my class and stats. This time I gave them a good look over because picking a weapon meant nothing if it didn't match your class or skills.

[Name: Halberd]

[Class: Mobile Marksman]

[Level: 1]

[Attack: 5]

[Defense: 2]

[Speed: 8]

[Health: 50]

[Energy:20]

[Skills]

[Moving Target: Time slows down while moving, making it easier to aim with ranged attacks. Cost: 2 Energy]

[Armor Pierce: A powerful attack that ignores an opponent's armor. Cost: 5 Energy]

[Double Tap: Attack an opponent twice in quick succession. Cost 4 Energy.]

"Hey! Now, this is an assassin kit!" I cheered, but then I looked at the rest of my skills and sighed.

[Driving Skill:0]

[Weapons Class: 1]

"Time to level up some skills," I muttered, but then I stopped as a window popped up in front of me.

[Do you wish to learn the skill: Driving?]

[Yes/No]

I quickly selected yes before anything else could happen, and then another window popped up.

[You have learned the skill: Driving]

[Now, you can operate any and all land vehicles!]

I smiled at that before another window popped up.

[Do you wish to learn the skill: Weapons Class?]

[Yes/No]

I quickly selected yes before anything else could happen, and then another window popped up.

[You have learned the skill: Weapons Class]

[Now, you can use any weapon!]

I froze, blinked at the screen, and then read it three more times. What was going on?

I had glossed over the fact that it just said I could drive all land vehicles, but this was serious. While a class could normally just use the type of weapon of their class, this said, I could just learn any weapon through use.

Then another window appeared, and I almost choked on my tongue.

[Do you wish to learn the skill: Double Experience?]

[Yes/No]

I quickly selected yes, and then another window appeared.

[You have learned the skill: Double Experience]

[Now, you will gain double experience from all actions!]

I sank to my knees as I stared at the screen in disbelief. This was too much, and it was only going to get worse. Then I thought about what Chloe had said, and I realized that this might be normal for someone like me. If I had cheats, then, of course, my classes and skills would be op as well.

But still, this was ridiculous, but there were no more screens after that, but I still sat there for a little while. It just hit me why everyone was so disappointed with me. If I only had just waited, I could have probably greatly out-leveled him and a day or so and killed him easily.

This was a lesson learned, and one that would not be forgotten for my next job, but as I flipped through my pages, I stopped when I found a tab just called Trig.

[Astral Energy: 67/100]

[Energy received from Astral Blessings and restricted Chaos]

[Chaos Energy: 99/100]

[Level of Chaos stored. Level of Entropy cause by Chaos Trigger Activation]

[Restricted Chaos: A]

[Crisis Management Specialization: Allows for the use of restricted Chaos Energy with less Entropy production.]

I frowned as I read over my stats page. I had two different types of energy now? What was going on, and what was this restricted chaos? I thought about it but then sighed before getting to my feet. It looked like I would just have to ask Chloe the next time I saw her because this was getting too confusing.

I walked over to the rack of rifles and other guns, taking one down before looking at it again. This time when I inspected it, a new window popped up with more detailed information than just the name and class like before.

[Name: M4A1 Carbine]

[Class: Mobile Marksman]

[Type: Rifle]

[Level: 1]

[Attack: 2-5]

[Range: 250m]

[Accuracy: 95%]

[Ammo Cost 100 bullets/10 energy. [Semi-Automatic, 6-round burst, and fully automatic fire modes.]

I whistled as I put it back before taking down an AK-47 and inspecting it next.

[Name: AK-47]

[Class: Mobile Marksman]

[Type: Rifle]

[Level: 1]

[Attack: 2-7]

[Range: 200m] [Accuracy 80%]

[Ammo Cost 100 bullets/10 energy. [Semi-Automatic and fully automatic fire modes.]

I decided on the M4A1 Carbine and then took down a pistol as well before looking at it.

[Name: Glock 17]

[Class: Mobile Marksman]

[Type: Pistol]

[Level: 1]

[Range 50m [Accuracy 85%]

[Attack 10-13. (1 bullet/2 energy per shot)]

I decided on that one, too, before getting some ammo for both guns and putting them in my storage. I wasn't sure how it worked, but they just disappeared into thin air when I put them in there. Then I walked over to another section of the storage to a door labeled garage.

I put my hand on the scanner, and it opened to reveal a room that was three times larger than my storage unit. On one side were all sorts of tools, and on the other side were motorcycles, cars, trucks, and even a helicopter. I walked over to the helicopter before looking at it with a raised eyebrow.

"How in the world am I supposed to fly this thing?" I muttered before walking away from it and instead going towards the cars. I also passed a dark-colored cube van, but that didn't really seem useful currently. After looking through them for a bit, I found a black SUV that would fit my needs nicely before getting in it and starting it up. It was strange how easy it was to just drive, considering that I had never done so before in real life or even in this game-like world.

I drove out of storage after putting everything else away that I thought might be useful, which didn't take long considering how much space there actually was inside of there despite how small it looked on the outside. Then once everything else was squared away, all that was left was for me to do some level grinding which sounded pretty fun with my double experience skill.

You know, because normally people would have been doing something like this from day one when they got to their class instead of rushing off into danger without any real plan like an idiot… like me, apparently.
