"Ooo! You are in big trouble, Mr!" Chloe said as she appeared out of nowhere and sat down from across me. She was still in her green and white school uniform from before.
"What do you mean?" I asked, and Chloe smirked.
"You know exactly what I mean! You were supposed to kill him, but you failed miserably! You are lucky that Jim is giving you another chance," she said, and I frowned.
"How do you know about that?" I asked, and Chloe shrugged.
"I know everything that goes on in this place. Now, you need to kill Ace, or else you will be stuck here forever," she said plainly.
"How am I supposed to do that if he already knows who I am?!" I complained, but Chloe just shrugged.
"That is for you to figure out, but you better do it quickly. You only have one more chance," she said before disappearing, and I was once again alone in the room.
I needed to kill Ace, but how? He was already on his guard, and I didn't have any weapons. I could try to find another rock, but that didn't seem like it would work. I needed something else, but what?
Suddenly there was a ding, and the door to the room opened.
That was new, the last time that I was here, gas had pumped in, and I ended up on that train. I was curious about what was on the other side since this was supposed to be like the highest level of heaven or something like that. I was curious to know what kinds of other beings were going to be on the other side?
I got up and walked over and through the door. On the other side was a beautiful goddess sitting in front of a window, looking into the room I was in, but there was no window in the room.
"Halberd, I have been expecting you," she said as she turned around and looked at me.
"You have?" I asked, and the goddess nodded.
"Yes, I have. You see, I am the one that sent you on this mission," she said, and my eyes widened.
"You did? But why? And how do you know my name? I thought that Jim was the one that sent me, right?" I asked, and the goddess smiled.
"I sent you on this mission because Ace needs to die. He is a valiant fighter, and the world that I am watching over needs him, so he needs to be eliminated," she explained, and my brow furrowed.
"Why can't you just eliminate him yourself?" I asked, and the goddess sighed.
"It is against the rules. I am not allowed to interfere directly, so that is why I sent you," she explained, and I nodded.

"I see, but why me? Why not someone else?" I asked, and the goddess shrugged.
"Because this is your job, not someone else's, and it should have been easy! Now you have made a mess of everything!" she snapped, and my eyes widened.
"I tried, but you all sent me there with little to know information while lying to me! I was told that I would have whatever I needed!" I growled, but the goddess rolled her eyes.
"If you had used your Chaos Trigger, you would have known that there was a location that would not only give you experience boosters but also any weapon you might need. I was watching when Jim gave it to you!" The goddess snapped, and I stayed quiet. I might have got a little distracted and caught up in the moment.
"Sorry, I guess that is my fault then," I said, and the goddess turned her nose up at me.
"I don't need your sorry; what I need is results!" The goddess snapped, and I nodded.
"Yeah, send me back, and I will take this seriously this time," I said, but the goddess shook her head.
"That isn't how it works. You will have to wait two days here, but since you have no money, you will be a homeless Hitman for that time. Enjoy your stay on a street corner!" The goddess snapped, and I was thrown from the room and out into what seemed to be an office setting.
"What the fuck?!" I growled as I picked myself off the ground and looked around, but almost everyone was working. The strange thing was who the people were. I couldn't name them, but if I had my phone, I was sure I could image search most of them, and they would be gods, goddesses, and celestial beings from legends. It was a bit surreal.
"You there!" A voice shouted, and I turned to see who it was. It was a woman with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a business suit and had a rather large bust. "You are supposed to be in the meeting! Get in there now!" she shouted as she pointed to a door, and I quickly walked over to it before walking inside.
She was hot, but I had no idea what the fuck she was talking about, so I just went along with it.
The first thing that I noticed was that there were two people already sitting at the table, one of them being Jim. He looked up at me and rolled his eyes. The other person was a tall man with short black hair, and he had an annoyed look on his face as he stared at me.
"And you are?" He asked plainly, and I gulped before answering.
"Halberd," I said, and the man frowned deeply.
"The one that fucked up the mission?" He asked, and I nodded. "I am Zeus, and I run this shit hole of an office. You fucked up one of the easiest marks I have ever given someone. Do you have any idea the paperwork involved with this blunder?!"
"I-I am sorry," I said, and Zeus sighed deeply as he rubbed his temples.
"You are fucking lucky that I like Jim here, or you would be stuck in that room right now. As it is, you are going to be working for me from now on until you make up for this mess," Zeus said plainly, and I gulped. This was not what I wanted, but it looked like I didn't have a choice in the matter.
So many not choices. Fuck.
