Chapter 5: God?

[3rd Pov]

"State your purpose, creature!" One of the villagers shouted and waved his spear around.

Deoxys calmly watched the group of people; all the Demi-humans were covered with bandages and wearing ragged clothes. They tried their best to act brave, but the group could barely control themselves from running away under the watchful gaze of Deoxys.

"Everyone, please calm down! Deoxys doesn't mean any harm!" Erika and Jyn hurriedly defended their new friend. However, the villagers still don't look convinced.

"Erika, Jyn?" A voice called out to the siblings at the back of the crowd.

The Demi-humans parted way and revealed an old man with a long white beard holding a cane. He coughed in pain as Erika and Jyn rushed up to him.

"Elder!" They both exclaimed with worry as they tried to support the old man.

"Is what you two said true? Will it help us?" The village elder asked with a hopeful tone.

Erika and Jyn then recount their stories about how they went deep into the forest and encountered a group of orcs. They talked about the battle and how Deoxys arrived and rescued them. At first, the Elder was mad at the two for leaving the village without telling anyone, but his anger turned into shock as Jyn said that Deoxys had instantly healed his fatal injury.

Deoxys remained silent as all eyes turned on the Pokemon: 'Come on, say something!' Mew urged.

'What do I say?????'

'I don't know?! Just agree!?' Mew replied.

Deoxys was stumped as it thought of a response. In the end, it could only say the word, yes, but that seemed to satisfy the Elder: "Then please....." He begged. The monster attack has put a lot of stress on the old man's body, and he doesn't know what to do anymore.

Just because they defended their home the first time, what stops the monsters from invading the second time? That worrying thought has considerably weakened his body, and right now, a strange being was offering them a chance, and he got no choice but to say accept.

Deoxys flew high into the air as it sent out a massive wave of Heal Pulse that covered the entire village with Arceus's Blessing. Using this much power became less of a burden.

The pink shockwave spread through the village as everyone felt warm, relaxed and enjoyable in the blink of an eye; their wounds healed. Everyone took off their bandages with wonder and delight as they bowed at Deoxys.

Due to Deoxys and Mew's lack of knowledge in their new world. They didn't know that things like healing magic were insanely rare. There's only one well-known fact: people with healing spells were closely related to the Goddess of this world, such as the Saints and The Pope. However, even they couldn't use it often.

Now, there's an unknown entity right before them that was spamming recovery magic left and right. With Deoxy's peculiar appearance, the Demi-humans suspect this was the birth of a new god.

"God....." Elder muttered as he knelt on one knee.

Deoxys:???????????

Mew:?????????

Jyn and Erika stared at their fellow villagers weirdly. They never delve much into history, so they have no idea what's happening until someone beside them whispers something into their ears. Their eyes widened with shock and quickly prostrated before Deoxys.

'I'm no.....' Deoxys was about to retort their comment, but Mew shut the alien up.

'Just let them be. It will be easier this way!' Mew reasoned.

'Are we allowed to do something like this?' Deoxys asked with uncertainty.

'Hold on, lemme check....' Mew appeared next to Deoxys as a white phone with a golden ring on its back appeared in Mew's tiny hands.

It pressed some buttons as the phone vibrated a couple of times: 'Big bro said that the Goddess gave us the green light as long as we don't go overboard.'

'I... I see....'

"Is there something wrong, Deoxys-sama?" The Elder asked nervously, sensing Deoxys's silence.

Deoxys shook its head: 'All of you must be hungry....' Deoxys changed the subject and created a portal below him as all the stockpiled berries fell out.

The Demi-humans gasped with shock as their respect for Deoxys soared through the roof and further confirmed their theory that the being before them was indeed a supreme being...

Night...

The Demi-humans were having a feast to celebrate Deoxys's arrival. Despite the monster's attack, the villagers were still smiling. Even if the food were just plain berries, they were happy as they felt a huge weight being lifted off their shoulders.

Deoxys was at the centre of the celebration; however, it didn't pay attention to the villager's cheering as its focused on the screen in front of the Pokemon.

Deoxys still haven't assimilated the power from the reward of the first task yet; however, that could wait. Deoxys accepted the compensation from the second task, and just as it expected, it received a similar response.

'Mew, what's the difference between the previous reward?'

Mew yawned: 'This time, the reward is knowledge, not a new power. You still needed the necessary materials to craft it.'

Deoxys nodded as, suddenly, information flowed into its mind, and the Pokemon quietly took in the abundant instructions.

'These materials shouldn't be too difficult to collect....' Deoxys summarised.

As Deoxys was thinking, someone tapped the Pokemon on the leg. Deoxys looked down and saw a young boy staring at it. The child shyly fidgeted and offered a piece of berry to the Pokemon.

'For me?'

The boy nodded and watched with expectation. Deoxys observed the berry; the Pokemon doesn't need food to survive, but that wouldn't matter other than the fact that it doesn't even have a mouth.

In the end, Deoxys created a small portal on its face and imitated eating. The boy smiled, and his mother rushed over. She was flustered and apologised for her son's action, and Deoxys replied that it didn't mind, and the woman took the child away.

'Did I do something wrong?' Deoxys muttered.

'It's just the way people are....' Mew said.

'Okay....' Deoxys responded while deep in thought.

In a cave somewhere in Terra Forrest.

"What happened to the orcs!" A sizeable grey humanoid roared at the small goblin in front of it as the monster sat on a wooden throne.

The goblin was frightened as it continued its report. Hearing the rest, the monster became increasingly engaged as he smashed his fist on the armrest of his throne. He grabbed the goblin and crushed its puny body with his jaws. The bones made a loud, crunching sound as he ate the goblin.

"Prepare the army! We will destroy that village in the next full moon!" The monster roared at his subordinates as they ran out of the chamber, "Those cat people will soon feel the wrath of the Troll King!" The troll declared...
