Next day...
In the backyard, Ralph was training intently under Deoxys's instructions.
"Focus, clear your mind," Deoxys ordered.
Sweat dripped down Ralph's face and he tried to sense the Psychic energy within him but it was insanely difficult. His eyes snapped open and he gasped for breath. The boy fell onto his back and stared at the light blue sky.
"You are progressing faster than I anticipated, your talent is truly interesting," Deoxys said
Ralph would've smiled at the praise of his hard effort but he felt numb to Deoxys's words, mostly because of the two children beside him…
"Mommy mommy look, it's floating!" Rubie chirped, and a wooden toy block levitated before her eyes.
"I can do it too!" Saphir yelled and a rubber duck flew around frantically.
Ralph's lips twitched and he sighed. Rubie and Saphir were already miles ahead and they only started practising today. When he asked Deoxys about it, the pokemon merely replied that it's natural because they're its children.
The boy grumbled and went back to training. Deoxys suddenly heard the bell at the front door, the pokemon told the three to wait and proceed to greet the guest.
"Ah good morning your highness," Deoxys said before bowing politely, "Where are your escorts?"
"Sometimes it's best to be alone," The prince responded with a smile, "Also please don't refer to me so formally, just call me Capsian."
Deoxys nodded: "Understood, how may I help you Capsian?"
Capsian silently stared at Deoxys and he grinned before laughing. He never really expect Deoxys would change its formality instantly, nobody else has ever called him by his name other than his family, it's always been, your highness, my lord, the prince, etc. Well, there was someone that came to his mind but the memory was strangely hazy and it had been so long ago.
Sensing Deoxys's gaze, he coughed awkwardly: "Sorry, about that, I was just reminded of someone..."
Capsian chuckled: "Anyway, I was thinking of buying another pokemon."
Deoxys: "Is that so? May I ask how is the Magikarp?"
"Don't worry, my sister and I have been training them every day, however, I'm not sure whether I can get the fish to evolve before the tournament," Capsian explained.
"Ah, are you also participating in the competition?" Deoxys exclaimed.
"Of course, it seemed very enjoyable and I'm curious about the first reward," Capsian said, well that was one of the reasons and the prince wasn't going to say that he was going to win to impress Deoxys or anything.
"Very well, I will bring your new pokemon shortly, please b..."
"Mommy!" x2 two children ran from the back door and hugged Deoxys: "Mr Ralph fainted again!" Saphir yelled,
"Then can you two prepare water for him like last time?" Deoxys asked.
"Okayyyyy," Rubie and Saphir obediently replied and left, not before cutely waving at the prince.
Capsian waved back with a complicated expression. He already heard that Deoxys have children but seeing it himself... Capsian doesn't understand why, but he felt a little empty.
"As I was saying," Deoxys words snapped Capsian from his thoughts: "I will bring your pokemon, please wait,"

Deoxys left and it wasn't long before the pokemon emerged with a small green creature in its arms. The pokemon looked like a rosebud, with small stubby feet, a yellow face, and slit-like eyes.
"This pokemon here is called Budew, it's a grass and poison type pokemon," Deoxys introduced and set Budew on the counter.
The pokemon stared at Capsian with interest before falling face-first onto the wooden desk. Capsian frowned and poked the motionless flower bud. He glanced at Deoxys for an explanation.
"Budew prefers to stay in a place where there was a lot of sunlight, otherwise they will rest until the light shines again," Deoxys said and flipped Budew over, revealing that the little plant has fallen asleep.
"But don't worry, they could be reawakened with some water," Deoxys reached under the desk and brought out a watering can and sprayed it on Budew. The pokemon's eyebrow twitched before opening its eyes and furiously consuming the water.
"The strength of this pokemon was rather low at first but once grown, its power is guaranteed, just like Magikarp. However, Budew still contains strength that shouldn't be underestimated,"
Capsian nodded and patted Budew. The pokemon wasn't disturbed by the prince's patting and continued licking the water on its face: "Okay I will take this little guy,"
Capsian paid for Budew before capturing the plant in a Pokeball. Watching Capsian successfully capturing Budew, the alien remembered something: "Before you leave, will you be okay being the first person to try out the new items I will be selling?"
Knowing that he would be the first, Capsian felt excited: "Of course, it would be an honour."
Deoxys nodded: "Before we begin, may I ask for your budget?"
Capsian laughed: "Do your worst,"
Hearing his response, Deoxys grinned: "You won't be disappointed,"
Seeing Deoxys's smile, Capsian took a sharp breath. Thankfully, he manages to calm down and nodded. Deoxys brought two scrolls from under the counter and placed them before the prince. Deoxys spread the first scroll open, and a large grass symbol was etched at the top.
"The first one is called Solar Beam, the user gathers light, then blasts a bundled beam at their opponents, this attack is extremely powerful thus, it required the user to thoroughly charge and may be defenceless during that time."
"I see, so it's a high-risk high reward type of attack?" Capsian analyzed.
"That's correct," Deoxys said with a slightly impressed tone: "However, the second move here may change the way you use Solar Beam,"
Deoxys spread open the second scroll and inside reveal a large fire symbol: "This skill here is called Sunny Day, the user intensifies the sun, powering up Fire-type moves and lowering the power of Water-type moves."
"However, Sunny Day also has another special ability, by increasing the energy of the sun, the pokemon can use Solar Beam almost instantly and continuously," Deoxys said and observed Capsian's reaction.
Obviously, the prince was stunned by this absurd combination. But when he thought about it carefully, Capsian also understands that there may be some downsides. First, it takes time for him to use Sunny Day before attacking with Solar Beam, second, Sunny Day will boost the damage of Fire Type moves which can be fatal for Budew.
"Hmmmmm, okay I will buy them, however, how do I use these scrolls?" Capsian asked.
"These scrolls were infused with magic, study with your pokemon and it wouldn't be long for them to understand them and use them during battle," Deoxys said.
Capsian nodded and he paid for the two scrolls. Capsian thought that it would be expensive but it seemed to be lower than he anticipated, well he couldn't really complain as he's a prince. When Deoxys handed him the scroll, their fingers slightly touched and his face reddened slightly.
With a quick goodbye, Capsian left so Deoxys won't see his expression. Watching him leave, Deoxys sighed: 'That human is still attracted to you,' Mew teased.
The pokemon sighed in response and imagined how much his heart would shatter when he discovered its true form.
