Deus: creator of gods

Nothing is impossible for Deus, for It holds Authority over all. But over time, after millions of years Deus became bored so it scrapped every world, star and universe it has ever created. Deus created gods and gave them universes to rule over after this Deus decided to sleep for a undecided amount of time to let these gods develop .

As far as these gods know they just appeared in vast emptiness without knowing why. These gods learned of their power and created worlds each one different from the other.

Deus eventually awoke and the first thing he decided too do was secretly encroach one of these worlds.

But in the time he spent asleep something happened to those gods in there own domain became unstoppable and Deus plan failed, he had a curse placed upon him causing him unable to use his vast power he was then sent across the universe.

the gods Deus created have no idea Deus created them. As far as they know they where there when the universe began. Deus also already has a lot of knowledge because of the previous universes he had created so he already knows of the possibility of magic and such.
