Chapter 9: [S1] Ch8: First meeting #8

I walked towards the door. I headed towards the door. The door is the door that is leading towards downwards the roof top if I want to go out. So, the door is both the entrance and the exit of the roof top. The door was a door.

I then opened the door. I go beyond the door. There's a stairs inside the door. I stared at the stairs for a second. I stepped down the stairs. Rui-chan is following me from behind. I was hugging the teddy bear in my grasp. I was holding the gun with my left hand.

I looked at the teddy bear's face. I spotted some red stains. There were many blood stains. I didn't like it at the slightest. It was dirty. I threw the teddy bear down the stairs. It rolled down the stairs. 

[Why did you throw the teddy bear away?] 

"She wasn't clean. She got stained. I don't like her anymore." 

[Are you sure about doing that though?] 

"What do you mean?"

[This teddy was given to you as a present by the person named Hana-san, right?] 

"... Hana-san..." 

[That's right. Won't you pick it up? This teddy bear will be your last remembrance about her, you know? You might regret it.] 

"... Why do you care so much about a toy?"

[Well, as I have just said. This teddy bear will be your last remembrance. You should cherish it. I'm an AI so I can just store the memories I deemed important inside my memory card. Though, it's different when it comes to humans.] 

"I'm an adult, damn it." 

[Having a stuffed toy isn't limited to being a kid. Even adults can have toys. Life in adulthood has more challenges, so I recommend a toy companion.] 

"Are you mocking me?" 

[... No, but I give you my apologies.] 

I gritted my teeth. I didn't like Rui's answer. I bit my tongue. I felt like it was bleeding. I didn't really care.  

"Even a simple cat who I thought won't judge me didn't even treat me as a friend!!! Do you think Hana-san, who might be the same as everyone else, will even see me as human at all!?" I shouted.

[... Yui-chan?] 

"I don't like this! I don't like this anymore!" 

[Please calm down, Yui-chan.] 

"Calm? Calm!? Tell that to Hana-san for giving me a child's teddy bear when she knows well that I'm already twenty-one!" 

[Why are you getting mad at this Hana-san? Wasn't she the one who was with you ever since?] 

"But even a cat betrayed me!"

[Logically, a cat and a human are different species.] 

"What does a mere robot know about how I feel!? Robots don't have feelings!"

We stared at each other. Rui was silent for a moment. I was also silent. I waited for what she was going to say. 

[I understand. I don't really know what has gotten to me. In the end, it's just a worthless toy.] 

"Right!" 

[Well, how about Yui-chan have a bath?] 

"... Yeah... I need to take a bath now..." 

After that, we headed down. We reached the floor where my room was. We headed inside. I then headed to prepare the bath tub. I'm an adult so of course I know at least this much. 

"... This feels nice..." I complimented myself. I'm swimming in the bath tub with water. I then looked at the hospital gown I was wearing earlier, and a change of it which was the same. 

Well, I just realized that since I'm free now as I'm the said only human in the world, can't I change clothes? Yeah, I'll definitely try changing my clothes design using Rui.

"Finish!" I exclaimed. I stood up from the bath tub. I was about to wipe myself with a towel. However, I decided not to because I want. I just let myself stay wet. 

I then headed out of the bathroom naked. My wet hair is dripping water to the floor. My feet are making foot prints.

[Yui-chan, please wear some clothes.]

"Why? Are you getting shy? Ehehehe." 

[Did you know that you might get sick if you run around naked?] 

"No. Why? Am I going to get sick?" 

[Yes. Clothes are our shield from getting illness. Without clothes, you don't have a shield.] 

"What about if I need to remove my clothes? Like, going to the bathroom or something?"

[It will be fine if it's only for a short time.] 

"Then I will just be naked for a short time!" 

[... Then, please don't forget to wear clothes later.] 

"Actually, I want you to make clothes for me. You can make things out of nowhere, right?" 

[Oh, I see. What kind of fashion does Yui-chan want?] 

"Let's see...." I put my hands on my chin, brainstorming myself. "I don't know! Anything that Rui-chan will make for me is fine!"

[Anything?]

"Anything!" 

[... Understood. I will upgrade Yui-chan's beauty even more.] Rui-chan said. Something appeared after that. It was a black dress that had a blue top polo whatever it is.

 "... It's beautiful." I said. I know that a cloth is just a cloth but, I just find it beautiful. "... Wait, do you know my size? Will this fit fine on me?" 

[I've checked the measurements of Yui-chan before hand, of course. Don't worry and just wear it.] 

"Thanks!" I said. I then wore it. I managed to wear it. I spun around. I jumped around with my dress. However, something felt missing... "Hey, you didn't include new underwear."

[Ah, I forgot.] 

"Also, add some slippers!" 

[Does Yui-chan not want a pair of shoes instead?] 

"Never! Shoes are such a pain to wear! It's so tiring to put and remove it from my feet! Unlike slippers where it will only take less than a second." 

[... Understood.] Rui created what I requested. 

"Woah! Now it's complete!" 

[Do you like it that much?] 

"Very! Do you have a reason why you gave me this kind of gothic dress? I was expecting something different. Like, a more modern clothes." 

[... It was my only data, I guess.] 

"What?"

[I just thought that it will suit Yui-chan perfectly.] 

"Ehe! I'm so beautiful!"
