"Fuck!" Krov yelled as he pulled out his phone, running out of the building. Looking up towards the sky, he could see a large tear appear, slowly coming closer to the ground. He quickly dialed a number and started to explain the situation.

 

"Hello? Oh Krov, could this possibly be about the rift that just formed in the sky?" asked a bored, female voice.

 

"Yes, the rift! don't you see the damn thing in the sky?! I need its exact coordinates, and once you have those mobilize the U.D.U at its location." The man said to his assistant, as he looked at the rift, which was slowly getting bigger, revealing a starry void.

 

Though he hadn't noticed it, a humanoid-like being slipped out of the rift, disappearing, as it blended into the darkness.

 

Back inside the building, Adam sat at his computer, with a scared look on his face. "I-It can't be..." Adam mumbled as he started typing into his computer. "...There is a second rift forming..." Adam quickly got up, running outside to where Krov was.

 

"K-Krov!" Adam yelled as he ran up to him.

 

"What is it?" 

 

"T-There is a second rift... T-Though it is forming a lot slower..." Adam explained, out of breath from running.

 

Krov went silent, then responded in a cold, calm tone; "When will it open completely?" Adam froze for a second, then responded.

 

"Two days."

 

Krov sighed, his fists clenching in anger. He knew that he had to get this situation under control as fast as possible, as there was no telling what kind of hell was going to come out of that rift.

 

"And the one right there?" Krov asked, pointing at the rift that was opening slowly.

 

"F-Four hours..."

 

"Shit." Krov muttered as he walked up to his car, unlocking it.

 

Bing!

Bing!

 

Krov's eyes widened, then he looked at Adam; "Get your equipment. We are heading towards the rift." Krov said to Adam, as he had received a message from his assistant, which was the exact coordinates for the location of the main rift. Hearing Krov, Adam nodded, and ran inside the warehouse, to grab his equipment. 

 

Krov stared up at the rift; It had gotten wider and was closer to the ground. He had an ominous feeling... Almost like he knew that there was something else on the other side... And worst of all, it was located at the center of the city...

"Please, everyone who is within the vicinity of the rift, please evacuate to the nearest shelter. The U.D.C are currently inves--" "Psh-- The damn Union, saying they can handle this hell..." Grumbled a muscular, grey-haired man, who seemed to be around 46 years of age.

 

He calmly sat on a black leather couch, turning off the TV, as he looked outside of his penthouse apartment. "Huuuhh... I think I may have to go have a look at the situation myself." Sighing, he got up from his couch and headed towards the door.

 

"Going somewhere Erin?" asked a woman, her stare filled with slight anger. In front of Erin, was his wife, who had beautiful white hair, that went down to her back, and cold, ice-blue eyes.

 

He sighed, "Don't worry, I will be back for dinner. I just want to go check on the situation." He needed to, as he didn't trust the Union to handle it themselves... They would have asked for his assistance sooner or later.

 

His wife sighed, then moved out of the way, looking at Erin with slight worry in her eyes. "Fine... just make it back before dinner, safely... "Or I'll send you to hell myself..." She said, as the worry suddenly became a threat.

 

Erin laughed, "Alright, alright, I will be back soon." He embraced her, then headed out the door, putting his scarf around his neck. He wasn't going to let anything happen... Because it would worry his wife.
