Yui plants her feet on the ground.
“Now that was uncalled for.” She pouted, folding her arms.
“Aha, sorry.”
“Hey...” I step closer to Yui.
“That green aura thingy magic? What is it?” I smile awkwardly.
Yui stomped her feet.
“NOW YOU’RE MOCKING MY MAGIC?!”
Ouch, felt like my eardrum popped. Where did she get these weird thoughts?
“You’re wrong. Just curious,” shaking my hands back and forth in a panic.
Jeez. she’s a pain aha.
“Fine...” Yui stared dumbfounded before letting out a sigh.
At least she’s comfortable talking to me now. That’s a plus.
“First, I had a bizarre dream last night. The man... I’m not sure if my brain is playing tricks on me.” Yui paused.
“The man appeared to look like you, but with silver hair,” she added.
“Oh, please continue.” I crack a smile.
“That’s it...” Yui sprinted in front of me.
“---turning in- stone,” Yui mumbled.
Was she gritting her teeth?
Yui offers her hand to me.
“Come on! We’ve talked enough in the rain.” She smiled, her purple hair dancing in the rain as if to say, “GET ME INSIDE!” I grin.
Yui’s smile... It seems the storm clouds have vanished over her.
I walk beside Yui.
“Ah, there are 7 most common magic,” Yui said, positioning her hand near her chin.
“So you can use 7 magic?” I question, wiping my forehead. Jeez, I feel like a sewer rat.
“No dummy, you’re born with only one magical power. I have God’s Blessing.” Yui leaned over in front of me.
“I’m mainly a healer,” she added.
WHAAAAAA! Such a major debuff, only limited to a single magic?! That’s like being a chef that can only perfect one dish whilst the rest are beyond garbage. I’m sticking with Fuka’s magic for life!
“So, what are the others?” I wondered.
“Did that crystal fry your brain?” Yui’s eyes widened.
“I’m so sorry!” Yui bows her head.
I think she just realised she planted that crystal.
“Nah, it’s fine.” I swipe my hand back and forth again.
“Okay... First off, Power Of A Knight: An aura of silver shines, granting the ability to mobilise a huge amount of swords at will and strengthen the overall endurance of the caster.” Yui slapped the ground as if it was a teacher slapping a desk with her ruler.
“Second, Power Of The Sun: Aura of red, allowing the caster to create fire, fire beams and fire shields, ANYTHING FIRE RELATED!” she yelled at the top of her lungs.
I let out a sigh. Did she really have to yell that last part?
I stretch her bunny ears.
“~Nya”
“THAT’S A CAT’S NOISE!” I fall to the ground in defeat. What has this world come to?!
“I’m joking.” Yui smiled. A strand of hair places itself over her nose.

“EEK SPIDER!” She roared, landing on all fours.
My heart races a little before realising it’s not Dexis and just another joke from Yui.
“AHEM! anyway… Loyal Lighting: Aura of yellow, allowing the caster creates rapid zaps and increased agility.
Power of Land: Aura of light brown, able to manipulate dirt to whatever the caster sees fit.
Power Of Dark: Aura of black, able to design a black blade and hands.” Yui pants, resting her hands on her knees.
“How are you exhausted from just talking?!” I yell, clenching my fists.
“I-I’m not...” Yui pants.
What an obvious lie. I shake my head.
“T-the las-t one… Stream of Power: Aura of light blue- can create water and ice, like a water/ice sword or just freeze people. Now that’s a basic explanation.” Yui sighed.
Hmm, so no Power Of The Hero then? I guess that’s mine only. I’m glad Yui informed me about the new magic even though it’s kinda trash.
“Thanks, Yui, I appreciate the information.”
“Aha, no problemo!” Yui runs her fingers into her hair.
...
After walking for some time...
We enter the blue dome and step onto the red carpet.
I glimpse at Yui. Her confidence is struggling as I watch her stare at the ground. She’s wobbling.
“I CAN’T DO IT!” Yui lunges onto a pole like she’s hugging it.
“Come on, stop overthinking its your worst enemy. I’m with you, remember?” Offering my hand to Yui.
She stares at my hand for what seemed like forever.
“R-r-right...” Yui slowly connected with my hand.
As I spread the academy doors open, a blast of like a hair drier consumed my entire body. Eh? I’m no longer freezing. EH?! I touch all over my body. I’M DRY?!
I notice Ray he’s always holding the tip of his fedora, huh? He’s grinning at me, slowly approaching.
“Ease her tensions to alter direction.” He whispered. I glimpse sweat drop from his hair as he disappeared like a ghost.
He wanted to act cool, didn’t he? Wait, I rest my hand on my chin. Was he worried about us? Or rather Yui. Heh, Ray, you are kindhearted, aren’t you? I grin.
Yui and I jump to floor 3.
...
...
Releasing my hand off the rails and I stare at Yui. Poor girl. She’s still trembling.
“If you don’t keep your head high, you’ll be an easy target for harassment.” I press onto the floor 3’s golden door.
WOAH! It felt as if my jaw dropped. Walls filled with gold, Even a restaurant?! A wave of smell hit my nostrils as an aroma of steak gently hugged me, I hear the sound of whip cream? desserts?! you name it! As well as a hot tub area. My paradise interrupted with eyes like owls in the night, sharply observe us. Yui instantly stares at the ground.
“Come on, look up.” I whisper.
“Even if you have to fake it.” I added, cracking a smile.
I notice Yui slowly back away. I grip her hand.
“If you don’t do this, your life will always remain a stalemate. I know this since I was like you once.” I just stated the truth. As it took me long enough to hatch from my egg.
Yui’s eyes widen. She abruptly squats.
“I got this.” Yui whispered, rubbing her fingers back and forth.
EEEHHHH?! Has she gone insane?!
