Anya didn't really understand what her Lady was thinking. However, after seeing the glint in her eyes, she thought it was better not to ask.
"What about the second reason?"
“Hmm? Well, she has a somewhat close connection to someone I want to meet.”
“...As the Lady of the Rizar Dukedom, there is no single person who will reject your invitation."
Aurora shook her head. “This person is a bit special. And using social status is simply another form of coercion. It will be useless in this case."
The twin maids did not know, but Aurora asked Halon to gather current and trending rumors floating in high society about some nobles.
And with that information, she will utterly and completely destroy everything Duke Blaise holds dear, even if it meant toppling the pillars of the Empire in the process.
"May I ask the name of this person?" Anya asked, curiously.
The corners of Aurora’s mouth lifted. She placed her finger over her lips. “Secret.”
At this moment, Aurora did not know that the resentment she felt towards this man wasn't just due to the incident of her kidnapping. But it was the deep hatred she felt for such scheming and corrupt men like him with hidden intentions and ulterior motives.
It was disgust towards noblemen who reminded her of the first love she wished she never had.

During the rest of her conversation with Griselda, Aurora just talked to her about various things with a kind tone. She asked about trends in the Empire, about things Griselda liked to do. It didn't take long for her to open up to Aurora.
The fallen Princess realized long ago that making someone like you is as easy as making someone hate you.
As Aurora headed towards her second class placed outside, a Professor blocked her path.
"You sure took your time getting here!"
"....Yes??"
A male Professor, who she at first doubted his gender, stood in front of her. With long silver hair and brown eyes, he can easily pass off as an elf...if only they didn't go extinct. It was a beauty undeserved of such a simple, single, and lonely word.
Beauty.
"Ugh, whatever." He grumbled while scratching the back of his head.
Beauty...
"Let's get this over with. Follow me." He turned around and started walking without any explanation.
Beauty???
"What are you waiting for?!" He clicked his tongue when seeing Aurora had not moved at all.
Where?!!! ( ̄_ ̄|||)
Not seeing a way out, Aurora followed behind him with a puzzled expression.
As she passed by, she heard the students whispering to each other.

“Isn’t that the Professor from the Advanced Archery class?”
“Is he here for the new student?”
“That can’t be. He usually teaches 3rd and 4th-year students.”
Aurora’s ears twitched as she heard them talk. It wasn’t until they were further away from the students that she asked. “Excuse me. Is something wrong? My class is about to start.”
He stopped walking and suddenly turned to face her. He pulled out two lollipops, one strawberry, and the other vanilla, from his long green robe. “Would you like one?”
“……”
“……”
The two looked at each other quietly.
Unable to bring herself to reject, Aurora stretched her arm out and randomly picked one. “Thank you…”
“Oh, strawberry.” He nodded his head as if he figured something out and started walking again.
Before Aurora could ask again, he started talking.
“You see, we received two letters requesting to place you in the advanced or at least in the intermediate archery class.”
He took off the wrapping for the vanilla lollipop and placed it in his mouth. “While the academy does not usually ignore these requests, the Professors aren’t so thrilled to take in a student who uses outside influence. In the end, it is up to the Professors on what to do. Well, but after seeing who sent the letters, they couldn’t very well reject it without reason.”
No, please just reject it! “That’s…”
“Which is why I came up with a fast and straightforward solution, to test you. I told 'em I'd make a decision afterward and take all responsibility for that decision. It finally got those geezers at the council to shut up."
“There really is no need…” All she cared about is finishing the investigation and completing her theory. Why was this happening?!
“I intended on rejecting you right away, but after seeing the blisters on your hands, I found you rather interesting.”
Blisters…? Ah. When he offered her the candy…he saw it in that brief moment? "I see. However, I don't think it is necessary to..."
"Like sword users, archery also have master archers." The Professor said, pretending he didn't hear her. "And unlike sword users, archers usually form blisters on their fingertips. This also tells me that whoever taught you is a musclehead idiot that doesn't know the importance of placing your fingers on the proper area of the string."
"..." Aurora was really glad that "musclehead" wasn't here right now.
He stopped walking and smiled at Aurora. “I am Elliot Ingsen, the Professor for the Advanced Archery class and a Master Archer. I look forward to your results.”
No! Don’t look forward to it!
"Huff..." Aurora sighed in resignation. She knew that nothing she said would change his mind. “Then Professor, can you at least tell me who sent the letters?"
Professor Ingsen raised his eyebrows. “You don't know? It’s the former Rune Mage, Gaius Lancaster, and Duke of Rizar, His Grace, Lucius Rizar.”
Her mouth twitched.
Aurora had a feeling...that those two did this on purpose!!!
