Laetitia’s POV

I awoke to bright light and a wailing of a babe. Moments later I realized that babe was me and I stopped in shock. I looked around myself and noticed people I ha never seen before. One man had a wide hat a loose fitting clothes. It looked like a robe of some sort and he held me up to a lantern. He then tipped me upside down and slapped my behind.

I started to cry. It was then that I realized that I wasn’t Kansas anymore. And that wasn’t a figure of speech. I actually lived in Kansas. As I looked for some help from what I could only assume to be an evil doctor I saw an exhausted woman, and a man.

The woman had sweat beaded forehead and black hair. While the man had blonde hair and a goofy looking haircut. It looked like he had walked out of a medieval painting.

I seemed that these were to be my new parents in this life. As one expects a 21^st century otaku to understand, I knew this was an isekai type of start. I know I had just died yet I lived again.

That could only mean that all those people that actually believed all the stuff about rebirth were right. I could only start giggling.

“Hahahaha! Ahaha ha ah ha, hahahaha!”

Both of my new parents smiled at that. They then began to laugh and my new father grabbed me from the doctors arms. He held me up and shouted happily.

“that my new baby girl!”

What? Oh no, it’s a gender bender story! Imma have to deal with menstruations. I then began to cry.
