After a while the waiter returned to their table. A tray of food and drink was placed on the table. They ate their food, chewed so slowly, and occasionally chatted.
“Since when have you been in Jayapa?” Endra asked with his mouth still chewing the food slowly.
"Three months ago, how about you?" Astan answered with a smile and asked back.
"Since I graduated from the first-level academy," Endra answered, finishing his meal.
"It's been a long time," said Astan.
"After this, where are you going?" asked Endra again.
"I don't know either," replied Astan.
"How about we talk at my house?" Endra bargained.
"May I? Aren't you going back to work?" asked Astan. To make sure he doesn't interfere.
“I only took half an hour of work.” Endra answered so casually.
After finishing their lunch, they went to the bus stop. Full of joy and laughter, the two of them went to Endra's residence. They were in front of a tall and spacious building. Astan's eyes widened in surprise full of admiration, continuing to watch the building as he walked in. They had arrived and Endra entered a password, within seconds the door opened itself. They entered and headed for a sofa that was neatly arranged, located right in the middle of the room.
Astan sat with his eyes on every corner of the room, something flashed caught his eye. Not long after, Endra came back with a tray of white cups and placed them on the table. Astan hastily drank a glass of water and put it back.
"Do you live here alone?" asked Astan.
“There are three people here, and we are jointly paying for this apartment. Do you want to join? Is there one more bed?” asked Endra.
“No, I already live with my sister.” Astan answered him with a small smile.
"Can you still see it?" asked Endra.
"Oh, that's it." Astan answered him in a low tone.
“What about this apartment? Is there anything strange?” Endra again asked with enthusiasm and enthusiasm.
"I didn't see it clearly, it was just a flash." Astan answered slowly.

“I already feel there is something strange about this apartment. You know, of all the apartments in this building. Only this one is cheap. I was suspicious from the start, but my two friends were very stubborn about buying it. Ha, they really are…” Endra stopped talking about her problems while looking for an apartment with her two friends.
"That doesn't seem to be a problem. If they don't interfere with each other," Astan said with a smile.
They spent time playing games together until the clear sky had started to darken. Astan remembers his brother's words that require him to go home early. Astan puts down the game joystick and asks permission to go home. He stood on the side of the road feeling uneasy, his brother's anger was more terrible than being scolded by the teacher. That's what he thought.
When the taxi he ordered arrived, Astan rushed in. It takes about 30 minutes to get to where he lives. A tall building was clearly visible, but the color of the walls had faded and looked old. Astan gets out and walks briskly towards the elevator, standing with the uneasy feeling that still haunts him. Feeling time is running slowly, Astan decides to head for the emergency stairs. Run with all his strength and only need to pass 13 floors, until Astan stops at one last rung.
Astan's breath sounded so breathless. Astan's eyes caught an inscription on the wall beside the door. A large red number was clearly visible, "14" was the number plastered on the dull white wall. He walked towards the right side of the hall with a little wobbly, the lights were on even though they weren't so bright. Astan stopped when he reached the door number 44 and knocked.
A few seconds later it opened, revealing a woman with long hair. Astan enters and closes the door again. Walked to the sofa and sat down with his head down so deep. In just a matter of seconds a woman starts to chatter rapidly, Astan again gets the anger of his brother, something he desperately wants to avoid. The woman stopped the sound and they sat down with a view of the table full of food.
None of them made a sound and were only busy with their respective eating activities until only the distinctive sound of plates and spoons could be heard. However, their silence did not last long. When Rei Akarina – Astan's second brother had finished the rice and side dishes. Rei scolds Astan again with so much passion full of annoyance. The clock kept ticking, until five minutes had passed. Rei decided to leave them unfinished eating dinner.
Astan's face looks annoyed and starts creeping. Astan ate his dinner quickly, but his hand movements were stopped when Rui Akarina—Astan's first sister, spoke so softly. Making Astan's heart melt instantly and eat food slowly.
"Don't take it to heart, Sis Rei's words, he's just worried." Rui spoke again with a gentle smile on his face.
"I know," replied Astan quietly, as soon as he finished the food on his plate.
"So, how was today's interview?" asked Rui.
"As usual, just a boring interview." Astan replied lazily.
"You can't give up like that. Surely you will get a job, big brother is sure of that.” Rui again gave words of encouragement to Astan, but was only returned with a sweet smile.
Rei came out of the room with a brochure in his right hand. Making them give a glance to Rei who was sitting beside Rui. Rei put the flyer on the table.
“That's a brochure regarding the job fair that will be held at the Santya Academy. It's intended for the public, so you can come. No need to register.” Rei explained briefly.
"Okay," replied Astan in a low voice and took the brochure.
After Astan received the flyer, they spent time as brother and sister. Tell each other about their problems and what plans to do in the future. Astan also told about his meeting with his best friend. Without realizing that time is running so fast, the night is getting colder. Rei asks Astan to clear the table. Astan closed the door and started washing all the cutlery. When he was focused, only the sound of water, wind, and clockwork could be heard. However, Astan faintly hears the voice of a woman crying. Ignoring it, Astan continued to clean the dishes and other kitchen utensils. When finished, Astan goes to his room, but he stops when the apartment door opens. Rei entered silently and quickly walked towards the door of his room.
"Don't forget to turn off the lights." Rei spoke quickly and rushed into his room.
With a helpless face, he simply obeyed Rei Akarina's words. Turn off the lights and head to the room to rest. Astan turns off the room lights using his smartphone, he puts the phone right next to his pillow. He looked up at the roof of the wall and began to pray silently. After that Astan starts counting sheep until sleepiness has come to attack mercilessly. A pair of eyelids closed quickly. There was a steady sound of breathing accompanied by soft snoring. Astan's face looks so peaceful in his deep sleep. However, not with what happens in dreamland. Astan was very surprised when he was in a cold dark room. Even Astan can't see anything at all until a glimmer of light appears, giving him hope.
