Tatyana and Loreia reached the bathroom and got naked. The previously somewhat meaty Tatyana was now skinny and looked less healthy in general. Loreia looked at Tatyana's body and couldn't help but feel sad.

Therefore, although they were naked in the bath together, Loreia didn't have any deviant thoughts. 'I have to wait until she recovers completely. I can start approaching her then. We have many years ahead, after all.'

Tatyana was already a young adult, so Loreia was able to begin her plan of making Tatyana slowly fall in love with her without feeling guilty about her young age.

She approached Tatyana and said, "Let me check your body. I want to see if there are any injuries left."

Tatyana nodded and stood there naked, allowing Loreia to look at her. Tatyana smiled and said, "Big sister, you worry too much."

Of course, big sister wouldn't take advantage of this and seriously looked at her little sister's body.

After five minutes, she said with a smile, "Perfect. You are completely recovered. I'm shocked, to be honest. Your body regeneration is much higher than normal."

Tatyana hugged Loreia's arm and smiled, "Let's enter the bath!"

Loreia chuckled and said, "Let me finish. Although you are healthy, you need to eat more. You are much skinnier than before."

Tatyana nodded and dragged Loreia into the wooden bathtub. After they both went inside the water, Tatyana sat on Loreia's lap, letting her body rest over hers.

Loreia hugged her from behind and rested her chin on Tatyana's shoulder. Tatyana turned to look at Loreia and smiled, "It is very comfortable, big sis!"

Loreia kissed Tatyana's cheek tenderly and said, her voice husky. "Yes, you are very soft, little sis. I really like hugging you like this."

Tatyana smiled and placed their cheeks together, trying to absorb all the love she could from Loreia, knowing that this was the last time they would bathe together. Loreia laughed with joy at Tatyana's actions.

Loreia's happiness seemed to infect Tatyana. Intending to express herself, Tatyana even turned and hugged her, putting their bodies together on top of each other. "Big sister, I love you."

Loreia's heart almost burst with happiness. But she knew that Tatyana's love was different from hers.

Still, she wasn't vegetarian, so she hugged her back, plastering their bodies together and intertwining their legs. Loreia happily kissed Tatyana and said, "I love you too, Tatyana. With all my heart." Tatyana smiled and hid her face in Loreia's neck.

They stayed in that position for a while, and Loreia felt her heart jumping around madly all the time. She didn't expect such a good surprise but welcomed it nonetheless.

After they had some skinship, they put on their clothes again and left the bathroom. Tatyana was even more determined to go, and Loreia was also determined to make Tatyana her lover in the future.

However, what Loreia didn't know was that she had just lost her last chance to fully close the gap that would soon open into an insurmountable chasm.

The three of them sat in the living room as the light from the sunset filled the room with an orange glow. They spoke for a little while until Tatyana stayed silent for some minutes. Loreia and Salia looked at Tatyana with confusion, not knowing why she suddenly became quiet.

Tatyana stayed like that and made up her mind. Then, she looked at both of them, and with the sunset glow giving her a forlorn glow, she asked, "Mom, can you answer my next question honestly?"

Salia nodded, "Of course, dear. Ask away."

Tatyana looked into Salia's eyes and asked, her voice clear. "Am I your daughter?"

Mother and daughter froze, looking at Tatyana with wide eyes.

Salia stuttered and asked without answering the question, "Why do you ask, dear?"

Tatyana saw their reaction and was even more sure that her dream was real. She fiddled with her hands and asked another question, "Did a maid carry me to this town?"

Hearing such a detailed question, they both thought that someone had told her about it in the past, but only recently did Tatyana gather the courage to ask. Loreia asked, enraged, "Who told you!? I'm going to beat them up until they are half-dead!"

Tatyana looked down and muttered, "So it is true."

Salia stood up and hugged Tatyana, "Yes, dear. It is true. But that doesn't mean anything. We love you dearly, no matter if you are blood-related or not. You are the daughter I raised since you were just born. What difference is there between you and Loreia? Therefore, you don't have to worry about it. You are my daughter, Tatyana, and you will always be. "

Tatyana's eyes teared up, and she snuggled into Salia's embrace. Loreia also hugged her from the other side and said, "That's right. You are my dearest little sister. Nothing changes whether you are Mom's real daughter or not. We love you dearly and with all our hearts."

Tatyana's feelings spilled, and she began crying. Both of them began consoling her and cleaning her tears. 'I don't want to leave. I want to stay forever with them. I want to grow old in this house with them.'

However, young Tatyana thought that she couldn't stay beside them and didn't deserve them, especially after killing Terrance.

Such an ungrateful and unfilial daughter could only leave the house.

Moreover, if that black aura spilled from her one more time and she hurt them, she wouldn't be able to forgive herself.

Those were the thoughts that solidified inside Tatyana's mind.

The next hour went by with Loreia and Salia consoling Tatyana. The family of three stayed together, sharing a hug.

Tatyana stopped sniffing and cleaned her nose and eyes. Then, she said with a low voice, "Let's go to sleep. It is already quite late."

Mother and daughter nodded and separated.

"Goodnight, dear. Sleep well, and remember that we love you dearly." Said Salia.

"Mom is right, Tatyana. Don't let small things like these upset you." Loreia encouraged.

Tatyana nodded and said with a bright smile, "I will repay you for this kindness in the future. No matter how far I go, I will never forget you two."

Salia smiled, "There is nothing to repay between family. Go to sleep, dear."

The three of them went to their bedrooms and embraced the sweet embrace of sleep--all of them but Tatyana.

Tatyana sat on her bed, looking through the window at the full Moon in the sky. Her red eyes seemed emotional, and her whole being gave a lonely aura.

Beside her, there was a bag with many items. Inside, Tatyana had two dresses, one of which Loreia bought her, the three books her maid carried with her, some food, flint, a cloth that was easy to clean for her menstrual cycle, and a pan. Besides the bag, there was a one-handed sword and its scabbard. It wasn't a big sword, with the blade being forty-five centimeters long.

Terrance bought her this sword on her birthday. She had wanted one to practice the skill inside the [Energy Vortex Gathering] book.

However, like everything else in that book, she wasn't able to learn how to use it. Of course, Tatyana didn't try during these last two weeks since she was occupied preparing for this journey and recovering.

Tatyana silently packed everything and left the house with stealthy steps.

She also made sure to leave without alerting the townspeople.

It was midnight at that moment, and the light from the Moon was hidden by the clouds, making the surroundings very dark. Strangely, Tatyana could see better than she normally would in this darkness. This left her baffled, 'After that lightning hit me, some strange things have been happening. I have more strength, my five senses are sharper, and I'm more resilient. Moreover, I feel something strange inside me, but I don't know what it is. It doesn't feel bad... I will look into it more after I make it far.'

Tatyana's town was a very backward place where cultivators and similar were just a legend.

Salia and Terrance never told her about them because they stopped trying to find Tatyana's real parents, and they didn't want Tatyana to have anything to do with the legendary immortals. Therefore, they thought she wouldn't need that knowledge.

During that fateful night, Tatyana left the town, her family, and everything she cared about without alerting anybody. No one knew where or when did she go. As if she were a ghost that suddenly banished.

The night went by quickly, but before the Sun showed up, a woman woke up feeling somewhat uncomfortable. This woman was Loreia.

Loreia sat on her bed, looked through the window, and frowned, 'Why do I feel this way? It feels like something is wrong. As if I had overlooked some important things...'

She had felt a strange feeling in her heart since last night. However, she ignored it, thinking that she was just too tired. A lot had happened, and Loreia was generally exhausted.

Unable to fall asleep, Loreia stood up and subconsciously walked toward Tatyana's room.

The more she approached, the clearer this feeling of discomfort became. Unknowingly, her brows were locked into a frown. She knocked on the door and said, "Tatyana, wake up. Let's make breakfast together."

But no one answered.

Loreia didn't find it too strange, 'She normally would have woken up and answered me, but maybe she was too tired from yesterday's happening. Well, it is normal. Realizing she wasn't related to us might have been a big blow.'

Loreia sighed and looked at the door thoughtfully, 'Should I enter and see how is she? I can maybe console her a little bit.'

Loreia nodded to herself and slowly opened the door without making any noise. The wooden door opened with a low sound, revealing Tatyana's dark room.

Loreia walked inside with careful steps, but she suddenly stopped. The clouds in the sky seemed to move at that moment, letting the light from the Moon illuminate the room.

Loreia blinked twice and then frowned, "Hmm? She isn't here. Why is her room empty? Did she go to the toilet? No..."

Loreia looked at the neatly done sheets, and the uncomfortable feeling in her heart was getting extremely clear. She became nervous, but her mind subconsciously denied every possible bad thought about the situation. Still, she couldn't help but feel uneasy.

She walked around the room and realized that the sword was missing. Loreia's heart sank, 'It can't be...'

Loreia stopped caring about not making any noise and searched around the room.

After one minute of frantic searching, she spotted something on Tatyana's writing deck. It was a yellowish sheet of paper with something written in black characters.

Loreia approached and took it with trembling hands. As she read it, her eyes widened, and she felt suffocated.

"Dear Mom and big sister,

I'm sorry for all the inconveniences I created for you during these years. In truth, I realized that I wasn't your child much earlier, but I kept ignoring the clear signs, greedy for the love you gave me.

I'm writing this letter to let you know the truth about what happened on my birthday. After you two left, I had a strange vision that showed me the day of my birth. Then, a black thing spread from me. I don't know what that thing is, but what I know is that the black miasma killed Dad."

Loreia's vision blurred as she saw the tear stains on the paper and new ones appearing right as she read the letter.

"After knowing that I killed Dad, I knew I couldn't stay with you. What if that happens again, and I hurt both of you this time? I couldn't remain still after realizing I could hurt you. I also realized I do not deserve to be your daughter or little sister.

Once I leave, the townspeople will also stop harassing you two since I've convinced them to do so. Therefore, I'm leaving. Please do not search for me since I don't even know where I'm going next. If fate allows it, I will return in the future. Until then, goodbye.

I love you both,

Tatyana Dravory."
