Chapter 3: Chap 3 – My Little Sister

My sister made me promise to go shopping with her today, so I had no other choice.

"Hey, Adriel," she called out.

"Oh, hey Emma."

"Come on, let's go. Come on."

“Fine. Let's go," I sighed.

“Thanks."

We headed toward the city center.

A few minutes later, we entered a clothing shop.

Emma's eyes lit up when she saw the racks of dresses.

"Look how cute these dresses are, Adriel. Look at those colors! I just want to buy every single one."

"How many did you plan to buy?"

"Well, I don't know yet, but I'm sure there are more than enough to pick from."

 

"Yeah. There's no way you could wear that many."

"No, but they're so pretty."

“Let's see what's available over here," I suggested.

“Good idea. I think I feel some dresses calling my name."

She grabbed a dress and tried it on.

"That looks good on you. See, I told you."

“I guess you were right. Yeah, I love this color. And look, this neckline suits you. I'll take it. Thanks."

"You're welcome. Now let's get back home."

"Not yet, there's a movie playing at the theater and I'm dying to see it," she said.

“What kind of a show?"

"This is a comedy-drama. It's about a guy who thinks he's hated at school, he's too stupid to realize he's popular."

"Sounds interesting. Okay, let's go then."

The film was excellent, despite the protagonist being stupid, the female protagonists made up for that part.

When the film ended, Emma started asking questions.

"Now, why didn't he figure out he was the most popular person at school?"

"Because he was too stupid to notice," Emma answered.

"But why did he think everyone treated him badly?"

"Ah, I see. He doesn't talk much, so he must not have noticed," Emma explained.

“I suppose."

"So, does that mean all people are stupid?"

"Not necessarily."

We spent a few minutes discussing the film's plot.

 

"You liked this, huh?" I asked.

"Yes, it was very entertaining."

"I think it's time we went home."

"Not yet, now we're going to eat at a restaurant I've always wanted to go to."

"Okay, fine."

Emma led me to the restaurant.

The place was fancy.

We sat down and ordered our food.

Then we waited for it to arrive.

After about half an hour, the waiter brought the food and placed it in front of us.

"What do you think?"

"Delicious," I replied.

 

"Really? Then it's perfect."

The food arrived. The fried chicken looked delicious, and Emma's meal looked even better. She took a bite and smiled.

"It's delicious," she remarked.

"Now we go home!"

 

"We have to take a picture first."

"Why?"

"So I can remember this day forever."

Emma snapped a photo of us.

"Okay, let's go."

"Right."

 

We walked back home.

My day with my brother was perfect without those bitches getting in the way. We watched a great movie, ate dinner at a fancy restaurant, and then went to the mall. I got everything I wanted, and I would never forget this day.

 

I put the pictures I took on my wall after printing them.

 

I made an altar with all of his pictures since he was six.

 

I can't wait to get rid of the other bitches and have him alone.

 

You'll be only mine, brother.

 

I looked over at Albert's picture.

 

I'm not letting those bitches take you away from me.

 

Not ever.

 

I don't care if it means I have to kill every single one of them.

 

Even if it costs me my life.

 

Because I love my brother.
