Chapter 4: Chap 4 – Gyaru twins

The next day, after waking up my doorbell rang.

They were the twins who lived near my house.

They have tanned skin, and their hair was dyed to match her lipstick, Emily dyed red and Nuile blue. Their eyes are big and they have small lips and wear lots of layers. They're pretty popular girls.

"Morning, Adriel," said one.

"Hi, Emily," I greeted.

Emily and Nuile. That's their names.

"Are you coming to the party tonight?"

"We didn't tell you? You're invited."

"The new volume of the novel I've been waiting for is out today."

"Didn't Svneigther release a volume a while ago?" Emily asked.

"Yeah, but it's different from the first. I was hoping for a sequel, but it's a whole other story."

"Don't worry, sister, I was expecting this," Nuile took the novel I wanted, "There are no more excuses."

"Come over at eight o'clock," Nuile said as she handed me the book.

"Okay. See you later."

"Bye."

After saying goodbye, I went to Emma's room.

"Hey, Adriel," Emma greeted me, "what's up?"

"Can I ask you something?"

"Of course."

"Do you know anything about fashion?"

"Sure. Do you need advice?"

"No, just curious."

"Well, what's your question?"

"I'm going to a party tonight. I want to be fashionable, but I don't know how. Can you help me?"

"Hmm. Well, some girls like to be flashy. Others prefer to look chic. Some go for classy, while others choose to shine bright. What style do you aim for?"

"I'd rather stay away from those styles."

"Oh, I see. What kind of clothes would you like to wear? Does it have to be formal or casual?"

I thought for a second. "Casual. Something soft and comfortable."

"Is that so? Okay, well, here are a few options."

She pulled out a pile of clothing from her closet.

"What do you think?" she asked.

"Very nice," I answered.

"Good. How about this?"

Emma handed me another outfit.

"Perfect! These should work perfectly with the light makeup I suggested you use."

"Thank you for helping me."

"It's nothing. Have fun tonight."

"Thanks."

I changed into the clothes Emma gave me and left my room.

"Ah, it looks good on you!" Emma called after me.

"How did you know?" I yelled back.

"Just a hunch," Emma replied.

"You're right. It does suit me."

I expected a big party, but only the twins were there to meet me.

They said that everyone had to cancel at the last minute.

They were wearing dresses that matched their makeup.

Emily wore a dress with a deep blue color and a black lace trim. Her hair was tied up in braids and she wore matching earrings. Nuile wore a white blouse and a dark gray skirt.

 

 

 

 

"Aren't you excited?" Emily asked.

"A bit."

"Then come inside."

Inside, it was decorated beautifully. There was a table full of cakes and candies, along with pitchers of drinks.

There were lots of chairs everywhere, but no guests.

"Have a seat. I'll get us some food."

"Thanks."

Nuile got up from her chair and disappeared into the kitchen.

"Now, let's eat."

"All right."

We sat down and ate.

When we finished eating, Emily suddenly stood up, "Let's dance!"

"That sounds great."

"Great. Follow me."

Emily led me to the center of the room. She put on a pair of headphones and started playing music through them. Then she started dancing.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"We're having a little dance party."

"Oh."

"Follow me."

Emily took my hand and danced around me.

"This is very strange," I muttered.

"Something wrong?"

"Not really."

"Would you like to hear one of our favorite songs?"

"Yes, please."

"Okay."

Emily switched off the music player and selected a song.

TUM TUM.

Someone was knocking on the door.

Emily said to ignore it, but the door opened by itself.

"Hello brother, I decided to participate in the party too."

Emma grabbed my arm.

"Emma?"

"Let's dance."
