They arrived at the harbour, and it was cold outside. Halo looked over at Romeo over the car and saw that he couldn’t be bothered with looking around them.
Romeo turned to him and smiled. He walked to the end of the car and opened the trunk. Halo came around and looked inside. You could say he was surprised, but he had no intention of faking surprise.
Inside the trunk was a variety of torture tools, but what caught Halo’s attention was the silver baseball bat while Romeo took out a gun instead.
He looked at Halo and asked, “What are you going to do?”
“Vent out my frustrations,” he answered, and closed the trunk. Romeo said nothing. He took Halo by the hand and led him through a gate and the further they went, they reached an empty factory.
They walked in through one of the broken doors, then Halo heard talking and laughter. They passed through another door and it was lit up. In the centre of the room, were many people, almost twenty, sitting on the floor naked with their hands tied behind their backs and gagged while around them, sat five people eating and holding guns.
When they appeared, the men and women stood up and chucked the food down to the ground and bowed.
Halo and Romeo walked up to the group of people and even before Romeo could tell the guards to leave, Halo walked up to the person he recognised as Anna and slammed the bat down on her leg.
“It’s this bitch that took my son!” He said and hit the bat right into her face, shattering her nose.
The guards were surprised and looked at Romeo. He waved his hand, signalling them to leave, and they did. He grabbed a chair and sat down lazily as he watched Halo lose his sense, killing not only Anna but two other women as well.
His arms went numb, but the rage was still in his heart. He turned to the men that were looking at him horrified and asked, “Which one of you motherfuckers was it, huh? Which one of you thought that cumming down my son’s throat was as sweet as honey?”
The men panicked, but there was one that didn’t move as fast as the others. Both Halo and Romeo saw him and now Romeo, who was calm, stood up.
Halo didn’t give Romeo the chance and rushed up to him. With an under swing of the bat, he hit the man under his chin so hard that he died.
Halo stood over his body screaming incoherent words with tears streaming down his face.
The men and women watched Halo beat their friends and family members to death one after the other.
There were three families here. The head of one family looked at Arnold Steward and narrowed his eyes. If this man never got involved with him. His gaze turned to Halo and Romeo and he shuddered. He didn’t even know how they ended up here. All he remembered was the house that they were in was broken into and then he woke up here.
One after the other, Halo bashed their heads in, killing every human in this building. When there wasn’t a life left around him, the bat dropped to the ground with a ding, landing in a pool of blood.
The air smelled of iron, and Halo was covered in blood from head to toe. His body was aching and his mind was blank.
“Are you done?” Romeo asked him, ending the surrounding silence.
Halo slowly turned his body around and looked at Romeo. He walked up to him, minding his steps, and rested his head against Romeo’s chest.
Romeo rubbed Halo’s head and kissed it. “Are you tired?”
“We can move to Canada. Any place is better than here,” he said and closed his eyes.
“We’ll leave first thing next week. Let me make the arrangements,” he said.
“Let’s go back to our son,” Halo mumbled.
Romeo nodded his head, but he had no intention of going to the hospital. They returned home and washed up. He put Halo to sleep and in the night's dead; he received news that the abandoned building was set alight.

Juliano was blowing bubbles in the hospital room with a smile on his face. Romeo was on the chair watching him while Halo was on the bed staring at the bubbles.
Juliano was laughing again, but that was only in front of his parents.
There was a knock on the door, and Juliano immediately stopped smiling. He placed the bubble liquid down on the table by his bed and got under the covers. Halo quickly hugged him to show that he was safe as Romeo got up to check the door.
When he opened, he saw a nurse and raised a brow. “What is it?”
“I’m sorry to bother you. There is a gentleman and his son at the front desk who wish to pay your son a visit. I told him I needed to get your permission first because your son is a sensitive case,” she said.
Romeo turned to Halo and looked at Juliano. He shook his head. He didn’t want any stranger around him, nor did he want to see anyone he knew.

Halo frowned, remembering who it might be, and said, “Anthony's phone. He said Antonio was worried about Juliano. I completely forgot to let you both know.”
Juliano grabbed him and asked, “Is Tonio here? Is he really here?”
His fathers were confused. He seemed suddenly energetic at the sound of his name.
The nurse went back and let them through. Antonio knocked on the door nervously.
Romeo opened the door, and the boys saw each other. Juliano jumped up on the bed. “Tonio!” He called with his arms open wide.
Antonio rolled his eyes. He walked in up to the bed, ignoring the adults as Juliano sat down. He handed him the sunflowers and said, “You look ugly.”
Juliano pouted. “Must you always say nonsense?”
Antonio shrugged and climbed on the bed.
Anthony looked at his fathers and said, “How about we leave the two boys to catch up?”
They nodded and left the room.
Antonio grew sad after their parents left and said, “I was so worried about you. Are you okay, Juliano?”
Juliano placed the flowers down on the bed and shook his head as he looked at Antonio. “I’m scared, Tonio. They hurt me,” he said.
Antonio hugged him and said, “I’m sorry. I wasn’t there to help you get away.”
Juliano teared up and started crying. Antonio hugged him and laid them down. He soon started crying as their worries and pain came out through their tears.
Outside, Anthony looked at the couple and said, “I just heard, what did you two do to those people? It’s on the news.”
There was no one around, so they could speak freely.
“Just what was expected,” Romeo answered him.
Anthony frowned. “What are you going to do now? Questions will arise, especially now that they are dead. I was asked to bring out my research on you and they wanted to know what connection we have.”
Romeo raised a brow. “Are they suspecting that I did this to Juliano?”
Anthony shook his head. “No, I can only guess that they are trying to find out why this would happen. But if they dig you up, they’ll link you to many cases.”
Romeo scoffed. “Did you tell them the truth?”
Anthony nodded, “Mostly. Also, the part that shows that I could be Juliano’s father.”
Halo sighed and said, “Let them do what they want. We’re leaving anyway.”
“What?” Anthony asked.
Romeo nodded. “To start over.”
“Where are you going?” Anthony questioned.
“Somewhere far from here.” Halo answered. He wanted to go back into the room. From here, he could see the boys crying.
Anthony could see them too and said, “Antonio is going to miss him.”
Halo sighed and said, “It’s for the better. Maybe everyone’s lives will be better.”
Anthony gazed over at Romeo and saw that he looked worried, but could say nothing of it. Leaving was a good choice, but to think that it all started because they loved each other?
