Chapter 5: 5. My Fight Against Fate

Sigh.

Just reading the information about this world gave me a headache. Why? Simply because this one whole family almost ruled this entire world's history. Yes, this world doesn't have some superpowers or some ki powers. It is just normal earth except for one family that is known as Cahills.

When I gained consciousness, I was confused and scared but I calmed down when the system notified me that I'm in my mother's womb. After hearing it I calmed a bit because seriously I can't smell, hear, and see, only sometimes I can feel some vibrations. The system confirmed that I will be born in 6 months. So that means for half a year I will do nothing but float here.

[ Ding! Received some pieces of information from the universe due to skill Fateless. ]

Then my surroundings changed and I was in a library. I think this is my 'Library of memory' skill's use. In front of me were eleven books with the first book's cover 'The Maze of Bones'. Hmm, okay I don't have anything to do so let's see what I have in my new universe.

After 1 month

I don't remember how many times I read those books, but I know this universe's earth is a little bit dangerous if I'm not careful.

So in the history of this Earth, in the 1500s when a scientist named Gideon Cahill created a cure for the black plague and tested it on himself, he noticed that the cure /serum not only cured the disease it also made one stronger, younger and more physical overall. But he was betrayed by his best friend Damien Vesper, who wanted that serum for himself. So Gideon destroyed all his work and died in the fire of his lab. But before he destroyed the serum he gave the parts of his serum to each of his four children ( Luke, Katherine, Thomas and Jane) which also made them try to kill each other for that serum. So till now, all the generations of those four try to find the clues of that serum. But Oliver Cahill, the wife of Gideon Cahill, was pregnant and gave birth to a daughter and named her Madeleine (she was born after Gideon died so the four of them didn't know about her). As Oliver couldn't watch as her children tried to kill each other she asked her last daughter, Madeleine, to bring the whole family, Cahill, together in the near future.

The whole story starts

when orphans Amy and Dan Cahill, discover upon their grandmother's death that the Cahill family has shaped most of world history. Amy and Dan pursue the Clues while evading the sabotage of other Cahills. In each book on one location which Amy, Dan, and their au pair(caretaker) Nellie Gomez travel to and focus on one historical character associated with a Clue.

And when I completed reading all the books I got a notice.

Hmm after reading the note countless times, I got an idea which will help me solve this whole family matter from the 1500s. But for that, I've to be born in one of the branches of Lucian ( Luke's descendants), Janus ( Jane's descendants), Tomas ( Thomas's descendants), Ekaterinas ( Katherine's descendants) and Madrigals ( Madeleine's descendants).

Remaining 3 months to be born

I made countless plans for how I will begin my adventure in the remaining time. I checked my status once more.

When I saw my name I was scared but after reading the note I understood that 'Noah' was the one I was given in my past life and I don't have those memories so why should I keep the name also. I will get a new name, universe, parents and family, I will enjoy my life thoroughly. 

Now focusing on my bloodline I got how it works.

(Spirit Summon bloodline: Calls the spirit which resides in the spirit universe for help.) 

I asked the system, will the bloodline rank up if my rank goes up?

Hmm, I will think about it afterwards, I am still weak at using it.

• Eye of skills(F): After observing a move/skill after a certain amount of time you can learn that skill yourselves. 

Crafter(F): You can craft anything, and you can also learn blacksmithing, enchanting, enchanting, etc. skills when you become stronger.

Weapon Master is a good class so that I can be ready to use any weapons in a dangerous situation. And with the support of the crafter class, I can make many weapons for any type of situation. 

But I still had one question, how to level up? System any help.

After reincarnating it's like I am being forced to fight this 'fate', no not force, it's my subconscious mind telling me to go against this 'fate' but what will lead a person to fight another person subconsciously? Of course, it's his arch-enemy. But I don't have any enem-!! Oh sh*t. That's it! Its Fate! I should have thought about it. Fate or the woman who controls fate is the one who betrayed me. Wait woman!?! Why did I think of a woman!?!! 

Hahaha

I didn't know that someone would betray me so badly that I would remember the gender of my enemy even after erasing my memories. And having a Fate system might not be a coincidence, right system?

What to do? On one hand, I want to take revenge and on the other, I don't want to disappoint Ben, Lily and Talya, by taking a revenge path. Wait a minute. 

System, which was the highest rank I reached in my previous lives.

The normal world sees him as an art dealer but in reality, he is the head of the Lucian branch in the UK.

" Come in, " he said. 

A man in a black suit came and said, " Sir Ms Kabra, gave birth to a boy. "

After hearing the news, Vikram Kabra thought,

 ' Phew, that bitch gave birth to a boy, but we need a girl so that I can marry her to someone from another branch. But the boy can at least help me to find some clues when that old hag dies. '

Vikram was thinking and making his future plans, because he knows how dangerous his wife- no he doesn't care about her, he just married her to collect clues and get two children, after that he has to get rid of her. 

" What about the trail of Hope and Arthur ? " he coldly asked his subordinate. 

" Sir, we lost the trail in Australia. But we suspect that Hope is pregnant with Arthur's child. " the spy answered. 

Vikram coldly said, " Tell Irina to find them by any means. "

The spy nodded and went out to do his work. 

When he was alone in the room, he started to make plans to find the clues.

In the base of the secret Madrigals, an old woman in her late sixties was watching the dry leaves of autumn. A man in a black jacket came behind her and said, " Leader, Isabel gave birth to a boy. What are our plans? "

Without looking back, the woman said, " Sigh, a new generation is coming. And I just hope Isabel will change after giving birth to her child, or else we might have to continue our old plan. "

The man hesitated and asked, " Will it work, won't we have those old dogies come stopping our plans. "

The woman laughed and said with determination, " No they won't. We will teach this new generation so much, that they will unite our family without much bloodshed and will protect them from those Vespers. " She said the last part was filled with killing intent. 

In front of everyone, Grace Cahill is known as the head of Cahill ( Lucian, Tomas, Ekaterina, Janus branches) but in the shadows, she is the leader of Madeleine. 

The ultimate goal of the Madrigal branch is to prevent a single branch from obtaining all 39 clues and reunite the Cahill Family. They try to avoid using violence and killing, but as with all Cahills, will do so when necessary. When Constantine of Russia (a Lucian) came the closest in history to gathering all thirty-nine clues, the Madrigals led the Bolshevik Revolution and killed the Last Royal Family of Russia, only Anastasia Romanova survived.

Other Cahills feared them, believing that they were "rogue Cahills" who didn't know what branch they were in.

Grace looked back at the man, who was her younger brother Fiske Cahill and said, " Protect Hope and her child. Find if it is true that, Arthur cut ties from the Vespers, you can take the help of William. "

With that, she continued to watch the dry leaves of autumn and thought, ' Soon it will come to an end, after all, it is for the greater good. ' like a certain old man with a white beard who likes to scheme in darkness.

Far away, in one of the rooms of a big mansion, a woman was carrying her baby boy while looking at the boy with gentleness and love. 

Nobody knew that a woman filled with ruthlessness would show a caring expression towards someone. When she first saw her child, she felt intense emotions that were unknown to her. She for the first time in her life thought of protecting someone even at the cost of her life. 

The baby boy who slept in her warmth didn't know that his 'surprise skill' had already started to help him to fight against fate.
