Wei Luo who didn't know he had been targeted as a golden thigh to hold, was currently sitting in front of a brown table. The walls of the room was a cool grey, the big black bed was at the middle edge and the large window laid at the side with mellow curtains draped over them.

Low toned coloured gadgets were arranged around the room and two doors laid in two sides leading somewhere else.

"Alright. Tell them to bring it down a bit." Wei Luo placed the phone face down on the table before spinning to look at the clock hanging on the wall. Seeing as it was getting to 20 minutes past the time he was Informed to come down for breakfast, he smiled and drummed his cheek.

"Alright, this should be late enough." He stood up and stretched before picking up the brown jacket and cat-walking to the door. He stopped and reversed back to the mirror, looked himself up and down a bit, then unbuttoned two more of the buttons on his black shirt.

As if that wasn't enough, he reached into his pockets and brought out a rubberband, which he used to pack up his full hair into a high ponytail. This added and even more youthful charm to the 23 year old man, making him look his age. He always had the vibe of a more mature man surrounding him, causing people to think he's older than he actually is.

This simple hairstyle brought that down a little.

After that, he gave the mirror a wink before strutting off.

His free and playful expression dropped the moment he walked out the door - what replaced it was a nonchalant and indifferent gaze. With that persona, he walked down the stairs to the dining table where the family had almost finished their meal.

When Mrs Hao saw him coming down, her smile brightened up even more and her words couldn't contain more honey.

"My son, good morning!" She patted the empty chair closest to her - It seemed she'd saved this specially for him.

Wei Luo's eyes subtly narrowed. This seat in the novel, was 'Wei Luo's' dream seat because it was always kept specially for the film Emperor. Mr and Mrs Hao had left this seat next to them, to the sift crying bag so as to take extra care since one little thing might cause his eyes to go red.

They really didn't mean anything else by it, but the original wei luo was covetous of that chair. He thought it as a symbol of the hierarchy of their love for them. He wanted to surpass their love for him in their hearts, enough for them to want him closest to them instead.

Of course, he had been able to sit on it. But that was only during the times Li Wei wasn't around.

Causing him to blacken even more.

Wei Luo shook his head in his heart as he made his way over to the chair. His eyes subconsciously went to the empty space by her other side.

"Your father doesn't usually join us in the morning since he leaves for work very early." Her eyes curved as she talked as if reading his mind.

After taking his seat, he looked at the male sitting beside Li Wei opposite him. The male with red tint on his hair seemed to notice his stare and looked back a little inquisitively, before returning to his almost finished food.

"You missed the twins since you came late. But don't worry, you'll get to meet them later. I've asked Mrs lu to bring in more food for you." Mrs Hao's words of care flooded his ears and he almost went dizzy. But he professionally kept up his persona and nodded, sometimes chipping in.

"Mom, I'm going now." The red head said as he stood up, giving Wei Luo full view of his high-school uniform with the 'Nanchang High school' tag on the chest pocket. The boy slumped his bag over his back, gave Li Wei a fist bump with a smile on his face, and gave him one last glance before walking off.

"You're dressed nicely. Are you going out?" She picked up a plate of pork ribs, since she saw he seemed to like it and placed it in front of him. She them poured another cup of juice which she handed to Li Wei.

"Yes. I'm going out. I said I was busy yesterday. I had to postpone what I had to do to today." Wei Luo didn't reject her gesture and also noticed Li Wei, who seemed to have no sense of presence at the moment, stealing glances at him.

He could instinctively perceive the gaze to be quite calculative, making him wonder what plans this film Emperor could possibly have that would include him.

"Aww, I wanted to use today to get to know each other." Mrs Hao's eyes drooped and Wei Luo subconsciously thought of the stray puppy he usually saw close to his house while he was abroad.

"We can do that some other time."

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to visit the place I'm teaching at."

As if it just struck her, Mrs Luo's eyes widened as she smiled. "Ah. That right. I saw something about that. It's at the No.1 art college right?"

She then turned to a Li Wei, who was currently staring wide-eyed at the two of them. The spoon in his hand had almost fallen from his fingers and he'd stopped chewing his food.

"Weiwei that's where you study right?"

Li Wei nodded his head and slowly gulped down the food in his mouth. His twitching lips didn't escape Wei Luo's eyes and he resisted the urge to laugh. He just bent his head down to eat while hiding the smile on his face.

"That means both of you will be in the same place. That's great. I've been feeling a little down about leaving you on your own like that."

"Looks like God heard my heart at the right time. Wei Luo is really an angel sent by God isn't he Mrs Lu?" Mrs Hao wrapped her hands around Wei Luo's arm as she looked to the housekeeper packing up the used plates.

The woman stiffly nodded with a smile while stealing glances at the little young master sitting alone on the other side of the table. Her heart ached for him, leading to her favourability of the other dropping slightly.

He hasn't even been here for more than a day and the young master is already sitting alone. Is this not foreshadowing the future?
