Chapter 4: Rogue hunter

Tokyo Japan 

A man sat atop the corpse of what looked to be a giant monster that resembled a white tiger the only difference being its head was as big as a car with a body bigger than a bus. The Man that Sat atop this creature was a muscular man with shoulder-length red hair, he wasn't what you'd call handsome as his looks were fairly average a little bit ugly, he had blade-like eyebrows and red eyes, though his wild and untamed aura seemed to be what drew certain types of women to him. The man wore a black cloth t-shirt and trousers along with similar shoes.

Despite this man having taken down an A-ranked monster with relative ease and was now sitting on that monster's corpse he was currently surrounded by men in black military armor pointing Rifles at him but of course, the man wasn't fazed.

Three more people were standing a few feet away from him, two of those people were wearing techwear-style clothing fitted with guns and swords respectively while the other man in the middle wore a business suit and glasses. 

"HANMA YUJIRO, what business do you have in Japan?"

Despite Yujiro Hanma being a Japanese man he was known to spend his time in the United States of America not only that but he was hardly a good father so he wasn't here to see his son so what was he here for then? Having a rogue hunter like him was not ideal.

"what? I can't visit my own country now?"

He spoke as he jumped off the creature and landed with a Thud causing some of the soldiers surrounding him to flinch.

"Oh no, you're free to visit but I'm sure you understand that a person of your status can hardly be let roam free"

"Is that right?"

Yujiro walked and closed the gap between him and the man in a suit. His height towered over the man in glasses, Yujiro had quite the imposing figure with his tightly packed muscles and tall stature, his body was the pinnacle of the human physique.

"and if I so decide to roam free  what exactly are you going to do about it branch officer Tokoyami"

The hunter association was divided into branches and there was a branch in every country that is part of the United Nations.

Tokoyami creased his brows as he stared directly into the eyes of the man that was tall enough to look down on him.

 Before the existence of monsters Yujiro Hanma was known as the strongest creature in the world of martial arts said to be able to defeat tigers and elephants in confrontation, he held no official record but everyone in the martial arts community knew of his strength and his mastery over various type of martial arts he is he fearsome man that was akin to a beast he was already guilty of various crimes but no jail cell can hold him plus his strength was valuable, well to the American government at least.

"Well if you insist, the  Japanese government will be forced to use force to capture you"

He said without a shred of fear, Yujiro Hanma was strong but Tokoyami believed that he wasn't invincible and can be put down if need be.

Yujiro looked at the man in front of him, his eyes then shift to the right and left spotting the two individuals who were most likely hunters, he then looked around him looking at the soldiers before he heaved a sigh.

"Too easy" 

He remarked before  turning his back on Tokoyami, in all honesty, the  government was nothing to him, it was hardly a problem before but now that there was something like magic in the  world it was hardly anything to look at, his goal was always to reach the  pinnacle of humanity And  become the best of the  best he had already accomplished that but with the  existence of monsters  he was once again dropped back to be an insignificant Ant and  he wasn't going to accept that hence the reason he was in Japan to  find the  person that currently stands at the top  around the world he is known as the Blue haired savior but in Japan,  they call him the[ Saisho no Hunta.] (used google translate)

"Don't worry about a thing I'm simply looking for the first hunter so I won't cause any trouble at least I'll try not to"

He said as he walked and put his hand in his pocket and yawned, that monster tiger was hardly a warm-up for him.

"haven't eaten sushi in a while, I'll find a place that serves some" 

He quipped to himself as he thought about what to do in the meantime, find the first hunter was the priority but that doesn't mean he can't enjoy Japan while he was here after it's been a while, maybe visit his son and see how the little punk is doing.

"I think you misunderstood Me Yujiro Hanma"

"huh?" 

Yujiro turned his head to hear what he has to say before he could look for a place that serves sushi.

"I didn't say we would allow you to roam free but instead we'd capt-" 

However, before Tokoyami could finish his sentence Yujiro disappeared and appeared to the right in front of the man that was that was beside him, the man was suddenly flung off the ground and flew straight into the wall of a nearby building before he coughed up blood as he slammed onto the wall and causing a human-shaped imprint in the wall along with some spider cracks. 

His partner on the left tried to pull out a weapon but a sudden blow to the stomach caused him to open and vomit up blood before dropping to the floor with wide eyes as he grasps at his stomach and lay in a fetal position and could no longer stand.

This occurred so fast that Tokoyami could not even react and grab his gun, his mind wasn't fast enough to comprehend what just happened. 

'Fi- "

Before he could even say anything Yujiro appeared right before him and grasped his neck tight and lifted him off the ground.

"Before you even think of giving such an order you'll be dead, I know the government has managed to  create bullets and weapons capable of  harming high levels monsters but please don't even think of trying to use those on me, and  let's get one thing straight, you don't allow me to do anything, I do things because I want to, got it"

Tokoyami who was struggling to breathe as he tried to get Yujiro's Giant hand off his neck did his best to nod in agreement, rather than fear Tokoyami felt immense anger but he stifled it and agreed.

"Good" 

Yujiro let him go before turning his back and walking away but behind him, Tokoyami was seething as he stared daggers at the man, however, he could do nothing in the face of the truly strong  Government and law can do nothing, Yujiro Hanma was untouchable and it was that fact that caused the man to seethe.

Humanity had come a long way from its Barbaric roots and had finally become civilized and become a society of relative peace where violence and aggression were stomped out, and no longer tolerated. If a man hits you across the face, you can easily call the police and have him arrested, there was no need to be violent yourself simply utilized the system provided, despite its flaws it still worked but now that was out the window no longer could the law keep people in check, The system was being threatened.

"Ptui" 

Tokoyami spat a mouth full of saliva, the taste of his mouth had become disgusting, and he need to brush his teeth immediately.

He wasn't exactly a law-abiding citizen but he respected the law since it at least tried to make the world fair and just now that was going out the window a world where individuals could punch mountains and fight gigantic monsters with bare fists had no place for weakling who relied on the law and it was that very fact that made his mouth taste disgusting.

While Tokoyami was seething + cope with what happened a man with short brown hair and black eyes, was rather quite excited over what just happened.

"did you see that, he completely blitzed them that was so cool"

Satoru Mikami exclaimed as he focused his eyes on the window of the Café that gave a perfect view of what transpired. He and his companion Ciel were on a date of sorts or rather the Café served some good dessert and he managed to convince her to come with him in human form

"Yes, but it's not something so impressive, especially for you"

Ciel commented somewhat confused by his excitement as the display of power done by Yujiro Hanma was hardly anything to note especially for a being like Rimuru. She was seating on the seat that was across him at the same table as him and had what looked to be a strawberry Sundae in front of her that she was currently enjoying.

"well yes obviously but I need to get excited about something so I choose that to be it, it was very anime-esque" 

Hardly anyone would be on his level of power so he decided to treat fights between people as he would anime fights on TV there was hardly any difference anymore, Considering that magic was real now and people were able to enhance themselves thanks to him.

"And besides those two guys were A-rank  meaning they weren't that far below his strength  since Yujiro is S-rank  they should have had a decent shot" 

He continued but Ciel simply shifted her eyes from him to somewhere else in the Café causing him to let out a sigh.

"You're not still mad about that are you?"

he took a sip from his beverage which was a chocolate smoothy with cream on top

"no hardly"

"I can tell you're mad, we share a soul connection"

"I'm not"

"You are"

Realizing that he won't stop until he gets an admission from her, Ciel decided to stay silent and not give him the attention. She knows they share a connection as such he should be aware of her emotions but admitting it would feel like a loss. With her arms crossed she turned her face away from Mikami.

"Well since  you're  mad-"

"I'm not, I just would have preferred it better if you had used a disguise and maybe changed your hair" 

She said  While trying to avoid eye contact, the people in the Café with them were mumbling some inaudible things well inaudible for normal humans because Ciel could hear their every word. It was not that she was mad, okay she was but simply because it was annoying Going place without anyone trying to get her autograph only to find out she wasn't the Saisho no hunta, 4 years ago it was worse being suddenly swatted by the government because you happened to look exactly like the most wanted man in the world was quite annoying.

The Japanese government had created a system of bounties along with various other governments for hunters who are not registered to a guild (Rogue hunters) or anyone who can use magic and skills, Rimuru or rather  the Saisho no hunta was number one on that list, and this bounty system was mostly for those that did more damage than good but in the case of Rimuru he was wanted due to the fact he has information as the first person to wield magic 

" well then can I make it up to you again, for the nth time"

Mikami supposed he went overboard with the little revenge, well in hindsight he should have guessed that his actions would result in more than just a little fame.

" Is that so? I see then…" 

However, before she could continue she Immediately cut herself off. Plenty of problems suddenly presented themselves as she sensed several anomalies that were to happen, unfortunately before she could tell Mikami about them a masculine voice called out to Mikami.

"Mikami!!" 

The voice belonged to a man with black long hair that looked unkempt and black eyes, he had a gruff small beard wearing black colored clothing, with what looked like a bandage scarf around his neck and a yellow visor that was underneath the scarf.

"Ah, Aizawa?!!"
