Truth be told, I was a bit of an opportunist. I didn’t want to waste my chance.
Lately, I had been enjoying and drowned in my own lust that I didn’t think of playing around harmlessly. Playing some harmless pranks to have fun was attractive too.
I didn’t realize it until now, and I only realized it after deep thought and thinking about what I should do.
Indeed, I was thinking about what I did after I became Arsy, but I didn’t regret it a bit. Still, I decided to have fun in a more harmless way.
Doing something in private with cute girls was fun and all, but it would get boring without any variety. Causing problems and chaos should be more fun.
The world was already in chaos recently, and I was kicked out of the team to resolve that chaos. So I thought.
Why don’t I add more chaos to the mix?
Finding one of those strange balloons with the smiling clown face was rather easy. Blaze mentioned a wand was found inside the strange balloon, so I only needed to trace the faint Mana reaction I felt, and I easily found one hidden in one of the tourist spots.
“Hmm…”
Sitting on a bench near Kinkaku-Ji while in my human form, I looked at the red balloon in my hand.
“As expected,” I muttered as my lips curled up into a smile. I noticed something the other Magical Girls failed to notice.
This balloon only strengthened my desire to create more chaos in this ensuing chaos. Sometimes I forget my own position in this world as an Independent Magical Girl. We were free. Freedom was what defined us.
But my head was clouded by the fact there were only normal Magical Girls and Beasts in this world. I forgot what kind of fun I could experience while I was free.
“But they are so serious.” I felt a little down when I learned the reality of the Magical Girls in Japan. “But that’s why I need to make them relax a little too.”
They were too serious with their duty to protect people from Beasts. The appearance of the Evil Magical Girl only made them raise their guard more, making them stricter and more serious. Just like Celes earlier.
“I don’t like that girl.” I frowned. “Somehow, I can feel she’s the type to look down on others while praising the one on top.”
I played with the balloon with my hand, bored. The Kinkaku-Ji golden temple was beautiful as it reflected the sunset. Some people were taking photos of it with their phones, and I was interested in taking a photo too, so I pulled out my phone from my pocket.
It was then I noticed I had an unread RINE message from Aru.
“What’s my little friend want now? She knows that I am in Kyoto with Blaze right now.” I muttered, opening the message. “Did she miss me already?” I giggled slightly but was put to a halt after reading the message.
My body trembled, not in anger, but in excitement. “Fufufufu.” I let out a low laugh, gaining some attention from the people around me. “This is great.”
I quickly typed thanks to Aru and popped the balloon in my hand. A single brown wand around 30 cm in size fell from inside, and I caught it in my hand. It was a normal, straight-looking wand with nothing special to take a note from.
“Ah, so as expected.”
Once again, I wanted to take control of the situation by myself. To create more chaos and attract more attention to Arsy. My blood boiled. Was this how it felt to be excited after realizing my own mistake?
“I should have fun when I can, right, Big Brother?” I muttered to myself and secretly put the wand into the little void I opened near my hand, and it went straight to my inventory.
“There is already someone starting this chaos, so I need to respond as well~ After all, an Independent Magical Girl is neither the enemy or ally of the Magical Girls in Good Side.”

“You made a mistake, Magiya Celes.” I immediately conveyed my thoughts to Celes as soon as I saw Arsy walk away from us. “A grave mistake.”
“Excuse me?” Celes didn’t seem to know as she looked at me strangely. “If what you meant by mistake is asking that girl to leave, then I believe I made no mistake. That kind of attitude will only taint our pure Magical Girls with strange thoughts.”
I see. She really didn’t know what mistake she had made.
There was a reason why Commander Amamiya asked Arsy’s help instead of taking care of it herself. No, it wasn’t because she couldn’t take care of this problem herself.
It was because she believed if Arsy helped us, no greater chaos would happen. Even the fat cat? Gold agreed with Commander Amamiya. They asked Arsy to rein her to create further chaos.
“You don’t know that girl,” I replied. Usually, I wouldn’t even say anything if someone was kicked out because they disturbed order.
But this was Arsy we were talking about. While she lately was out of the loop and got ahead of herself to drown in her own lust, to the point she had… that kind of thing with Aru, Gold had warned me something.
Don’t let Arsy’s desire go wild.
That was the only order I received. Commander Amamiya even added that I needed to return as soon as possible if I noticed Arsy had made a strange move.
From the Giant, I knew Arsy’s goal. It was to have fun. For her, playing with cute girls was fun. But that wasn’t her true nature. No, it was only her momentary desire that she couldn’t hold back from getting too excited.
One warning stood out from the other order I received.
“She’s at the same level as that troublemaker. What can I say? They grow up together, so they have similar personalities. Asa is just… lewder and lonelier than her, so she’s drowning in that desire first. She wanted to be recognized. But once she can control it or something else happens, then… Chaos will ensue.”
“I can’t agree more.” Commander Amamiya held her head in pain. “I was too naïve back then.” She continued.
I couldn’t understand what they talked about. Troublemaker? Was that a person's nickname? Then what did she do to warrant such attention from a Giant and Commander Amamiya alike? I had never heard someone like that existed.
Anyway, that was such bad timing. Who wouldn’t return to normal after they did… something like that and got kicked out, being told she was a bad influence?
She wanted to be recognized, but she was rejected. I was really afraid something bad would happen.
“I won’t take responsibility for what you just did.” I seriously said to Celes, which made her narrow her eyes. Maybe… just maybe, she seemed to dislike the notion of me saying that.
“Please rest assured.” She said in a cold tone. The friendliness from before was gone as she turned around. “I will take full responsibility for what happens.”
Her haughtiness and arrogance knew no bounds. But I couldn’t judge her. I would act like that if I had never experienced those things. Especially the incident last Saturday.
Is this how Arsy saw me for the first time? I need to praise her for putting up with me.
Only a few people knew Arsy’s real strength. Commander Amamiya, that cat-like Giant, Magiya Glacier, Aru, and I. Only three Magical Girls knew her real strength. Maybe it was natural that Arsy’s confidence seemed to be annoying from the other’s perspective.
But Arsy had the strength to back her up. But Celes… Even I wasn’t confident to solve this problem without Arsy’s help. She was too confident and prideful to receive some help from someone who just tagged along to have fun.
Maybe I should’ve followed Arsy instead. An unexpected thought visited my mind as I followed Celes quietly. I hated believing I had just considered that a better option than following Magiya Celes.
