“Let’s do a welcome party for Lotte! What do you want to eat, Lotte?” Kaguya said excitedly.

 

“Yay! I want to try sushi, tempura and tuuuna!” Lotte cheered excitedly.

 

When the others were looking away, Mio approached Kazuki’s side. “…Kazu.”

 

She stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to Kazuki’s cheek.

 

Somehow, it feels softer and sweeter when compared to Lotte’s purely gratified kiss from before.

 

“T, This is because this is Lotte’s party. This only means ‘my best regards’, that’s all~! I was only asking you to treat me well once more…there is no other meaning!” She pressed her fingers to her lips and explained very quickly, before running away in a panic.

 

“...C, Calm down…” Kazuki called after her.

 

Intense heat dwelled in the cheek where her lips had touched him, robbing him of the ability to concentrate.

Colourful sashimi made from fresh fish was lined up on the dining table, and the tempuras were arranged in artistic formations that raised into the sky.

 

“Amazing! The beauty of Japan from the Animes, which I yearned for while I laid, sick, is right here!!” Lotte cheered, raising her hands over her head.

 

“I see…This is very interesting. I can feel the happiness that goes through Lotte.” Prophet said in his emotionless voice, even though he somehow gave off a feeling of admiration.

 

“Ooh, so Prophet can feel that kind of enjoyment. It’s impossible for me to transmit my sense of taste to Baal, the Spirit that I’m contracted with.” Hikaru said with a curious expression.

 

“Is that so?” Prophet asked.

 

“It’s because each of the Spirits of the 72 Pillars are usually contracted to numerous Summoners, therefore, our connections aren’t as strong. We can’t even have private communication.” Hikaru explained.

 

“Uh huh, eating is wonderful! I’m glad Kazuki is my king!” Leme laughed as she materialized and began digging in.

 

Lotte held her chopsticks awkwardly, she tried to grasp some of the fish, but couldn’t capture it properly -- she dropped it.

 

Her face paled because of dropping her food on the floor, “Mein gott…using chopsticks is difficult. I’m sorry.”

 

Kazuki didn’t think that there was any reason for her to feel ashamed, apparently Lotte hadn’t been in Japan for long, so she didn’t have much practice.

 

He took some food from nearby and held it to Lotte’s mouth, “Here Lotte. Aaan.”

 

Even though Lotte was confused because of the word, she quickly understood and opened her mouth. Kazuki put the food in and Lotte’s expression rapidly brightened. A heart flew up from her and into Kazuki’s ring.

 

“Danke shun, older brother Kazuki!”

 

Then, like on reflex, Lotte kissed Kazuki’s cheek again. Followed by, “I did it again…” when she realized what she was doing, she restrained herself.

 

“She kissed his cheek while calling him ‘older brother’. If Kanae was here, Lotte would be no more.” Hikaru murmured with a wide smile.

 

“I don’t really follow, but…I understand that it’s fine if this person called Kanae isn’t near.” Lotte said with a friendly grin towards Hikaru -- who return a wry smile.

 

“Older brother Kazuki, I want to eat that one next.”

 

Kazuki took the food that Lotte indicated, and did ‘Aaan’ again.

 

“Older brother Kazuki, ,you look like my favourite butler from the castle…” She said with a giggle, another heart mark flew towards Kazuki.

 

Suddenly, she embraced him.

 

“...Wait a minute Kazuki, whatever the circumstances may be, but haven’t you serviced her too much?” Mio asked with a pout.

 

“It’s no good to be that petulant, Mio. After all, this is Lotte’s welcoming party.” Kaguya teased from the side.

 

“I, I’m not petulant at all! Here Lotte, from me too, aaan.”

 

“Danke shun, Mio!” Lotte’s smile seemed to become enchanted.

 

Mio’s expression softened -- it was the expression of an owner viewing their pet.

 

“...I wonder if this is the feeling if Kazu and I kept a puppy in our house…” Mio murmured dreamily.

 

“Oi, what kind of chemical reaction is happening inside your head?” Kazuki asked, surprised by Mio’s words.

However, Kaguya’s smiling face turned evil.

 

Just before Lotte could eat, Kaguya pulled her chopsticks back.

 

“U~ Please don’t bully me, please feed me~” Lotte said with a laugh, and troubled expression, while chasing Kaguya’s chopstick.

 

“Just leave the bully alone, come eat from me. Here, Aaan” Hikaru said to Lotte.

 

Lotte ignored Kaguya and ate Hikaru’s offering. Kaguya whined “Aah, I’ll feed your properly, okay!” In a fluster.

 

Each time Lotte ate a mouthful, everyone scrambled to present her with food, and Lotte was happy, eating them all in turn.

 

“...Everyone’s warm feelings are being transmitted. I’m happy~”

Before long, Lotte’s small stomach reached the limit and she collapsed in a heap.

Koyuki averted her eyes from the piece of food that Kazuki presented. But, because he began persistently circled, chasing her with the chopstick -- she had no choice but to eat the food.

 

Kazuki grinned widely and continued.

 

“...It’s delicious if I eat it by myself, I said!”

 

Even though she continued to let out sighs, Koyuki ate all the food that Kazuki presented to her.

 

“Kazuki, why do you keep ignoring my words…”

 

“Because, your words are usually a lie, I have seen through it all!”

 

However, when Kazuki tried to give her food one more time, Koyuki shook her head while saying that she was already full. Kazuki knew that this wasn’t a lie and pulled his chopsticks back.

 

“Thank you for the food.” Koyuki said. “It is great, isn’t it? A new comrade entered your party.”

 

“I still want you to join us, Koyuki, though. Even in the future, this feeling won’t change.” Kazuki said with a grin.

 

“...Please give up. Why do you keep ignoring that, even though I keep saying it?” Koyuki said with her eyes down and an angry expression -- but a small heart floated up.
