Chapter 41: Book 2 – Chapter 11

After the welcoming party was over, Kazuki started to clean up.

 

The girls usually had their showers around this time.

 

Lotte was the first to use the bathroom.

“Older brother Kazuki!”

 

Suddenly, he heard Lotte’s voice and he turned to look back -- there was a stark naked Lotte running towards him, her steps rang out on the linoleum floor.

 

Kazuki unintentionally dropped the plate that he was in a middle of washing.

 

“I’m sorry, older brother, could you tell me how to use the strange bath? I am used to normal showers and the one here is so advanced with numerous buttons -- what happened to the good old two knobs?” Lotte muttered, before continuing with a confused expression, “Older brother? Why are you avoiding looking at me? Isn’t it impolite not to look at someone’s face when they are talking? Are you angry?”

 

Kazuki had averted his face -- so as to not look at the naked Lotte too much…it was bad to stare -- so Lotte just circled around him. The naked body of a fairy was in Kazuki’s field of vision.

 

“Prophet would be able to instinctively figure it out, like he did with the airplane, but…for some reason, as soon as I took off my clothes, he won’t reply when I call out for him. That’s why, older brother, please teach me. Why don’t we enter the bath together?”

 

Lotte used Telepathy to sense that Kazuki wasn’t angry. She hugged his arm and pulled at him -- her expression was absolutely pure.

 

Maybe she had mistaken me as her own butler because of feeding her at dinner time? Kazuki thought, curious as to why Lotte didn’t seem to consider it strange to be naked in front of a strange man.

 

So, maybe she didn’t see him as a man -- Kazuki couldn’t help but sigh, considering how much the new girl had to learn. He also remembered that she had been bedridden since she was five years old, so she was likely very innocent.

 

All the while as Kazuki fought his desires, Lotte pulled him along to the bathroom.

“It’s this one.” She pointed at the shower unit that utilized Magic. It could control water temperature, or be used as a sonic shower -- along with clearing radiation, or disinfecting; it was an all-in-one cleaning unit that was newly released in Japan -- which was one of the more technologically advanced countries…as it had been in the past.

 

“Ahh, I see.” Kazuki said, before beginning to explain what was required for a simple bath.

 

Lotte was surprised, staring intently at all the flickering lights and buttons. “It was so much easier in Germany.” She muttered.

 

Kazuki grinned.

 

Suddenly, he felt a cool sensation of air moving around his lower body.

 

“Lotte…Did you take of my pants?” He was surprised at her skillful and rapid movements.

 

“Older brother Kazuki, let’s enter the bath together. After all, you don’t hate it, right?”

 

The totally naked Lotte cutely tilted her head--

 

Kazuki remembered that her knowledge of Japan from Animes, and he couldn’t help but sigh.

 

“Lotte…In Japan, like the rest of the world, you normally don’t show to strangers -- on the basis of the relations between men and women…”

 

Lotte showed a vacant expression for an instant, before expression appeared on her face, “Relations between men and women…I see. Older brother and I are man and woman, isn’t that so? That kind of thing was completely irrelevant in my life until now, so I completely overlooked it. Even though Anime showed me that this kind of thing was normal…”

 

Lotte seemed to finally comprehend, her face turned red. “This is the first time since I was born that I made a blunder, like that in a Rom-com…How embarrassing! Please forget it!”

 

Kazuki nodded, before escaping the room.

“Good evening, Kazuki~”

 

After Kazuki had finished tidying up and came back to his room, the figure of Kaguya -- clad in her Magic Armour -- was sitting on Kazuki’s bed. The colour of her pupils had changed to purple.

 

“Senior -- are you in ‘that’ condition?” Kazuki asked as he entered the room.

 

“It’s not like that, though I wonder if it is that kind of feeling?” Kaguya tilted her head and muttered, before beckoning Kazuki over.

 

Kazuki sat on the edge of the bed, Kaguya came over and embraced him.

 

When she embraced him while wearing her highly revealing Magic Armour, her softness and warmth was directly transmitted to him. In this kind of situation, it couldn’t be helped that he was acutely aware that Kaguya’s breasts were bigger than those of the other girls in the Witches’ House.

 

“Kazuki, today you were kissed -- on the cheek -- quite a bit by Lotte today, weren’t you?” Kaguya  said as she stretched out her hand while hugging Kazuki.

 

She pinched the area of his cheek where Lotte’s lips had touched.

“Even at the best of times, recently, you seem to only care about your partner, Mio. I am very lonely. So lonely that I talked to the wall, hugged a pillar, harassed Hikaru -- doing those kinds of things every day, you see…” She said.

“That kind of Kaguya…in her loneliness because of being ignored by Kazuki will monologue to herself in a whisper.” Kaguya whispered, “This is a story I learned from the people of the Knight Order that German’s Northern European Knight Order, the Einherjar has ordered Japan to hand Lotte over. Of course, if they were to hand Lotte back, her brother would have her killed.”

 

Kazuki couldn’t help but let out a surprised exclamation.

 

Kaguya looked away from him -- running her hand up and down his back randomly -- and continued her story. “But, we can’t comply with the demand so quickly. We are currently in political negotiations with the Einherjar that isn’t under the control of Lotte’s brother, and the Catholic Church -- this all requires more time.”

 

“Lotte’s brother, Michael, says that if we break off the negotiations and just hand Lotte over -- he will dispatch a number of their elite to cooperate with Loki’s subjugation.”

 

Kazuki also knew that according to the Norse Mythology, Loki was considered a ‘bad guy’, which would be useful because the Norse Mythology had allied with Catholicism -- if they could stop their Ragnarok, it would be vital to keeping them under the Pope’s thumb, silencing the dissenters.

 

“A portion of Japan want to cooperate, while others prefer Lotte and the dissenters -- which would take Germany out from under the Pope, stopping the Catholics from gaining too much power, as well as adding more Mythologies into the world. This will help stop any ‘final’ Ragnaroks and help with global stability. The second group is in the majority, which is why Japan has currently turned Michael down.”

 

“So, in the end, Lotte is going to be fine?” Kazuki asked.

 

“They have stopped asking for Lotte’s return, because Michael knows that it was possible that pushing it would worsen our relationship with them. But, Michael’s Einherjar’s elite squad has already landed in Japan -- he agreed to a cooperation period of one month.”

 

Kazuki felt a chill running down his spine.

 

He wanted to defeat Loki by his own hand, as revenge for Kaya -- he knew that there was no way to ‘save’ her now…not unless Loki was willing to leave her body. Being completely possessed negated sealing -- her brain would regenerate itself and Loki would return.

 

“If it stays like this, Loki will be suppressed by the Knight Order. You could only consent, unable to get revenge, don’t you agree?” She peered up into Kazuki’s eyes.

 

“...Kaguya, it doesn’t look like a monologue anymore, you know?” Kazuki said, rolling his eyes.

 

“Eh? Even though I’m just hugging a pillar and talking to the wall…I heard Kazuki’s voice! I wonder if it’s because I missed Kazuki too much?~” She nuzzled against his chest, “Kazuki should be able to show big accomplishments, but he can’t display his true strength because he is too focused on Mio…I feel a little jealous, you know. It’s no good if Kazuki doesn’t become greedier to become strong -- if he doesn’t, he will be unable to protect anything.”

 

“For, for example, should Kazuki set out to conquer Senior Kaguya more proactively? He absolutely should do that, right!? Well, Kaguya doesn’t see him as anything other than a cute junior anyway!!”

 

It seems that Kaguya had heard the specifics of Leme’s ability from Elizabeth. Kazuki felt a chill run down his spine.

 

“I feel that I have talked to myself a lot about the Knight Order and a maiden’s secrets. Well, there is no problem though, because there is no one here anyway.”

 

“I’m here though.” Kazuki couldn’t help but play along.

 

“Someone who doesn’t care about me and only has his mind full of Mio, the existence of that person, I don’t know at all~l. His basic human rights are revoked. This is my hugging, desire dispersing & monologue-use thing.” She hugged him tightly as she said this.

 

“Thank you very much for informing me…senior.” Kazuki had the feeling that he should say something other than simple gratitude.

 

He extracted himself from Kaguya’s embrace. Her body, which had been glued against his until now, entered his field of vision.

 

The Magic Armour of Asmodeus -- who governed lust -- barely covered Kaguya’s voluptuous body. It sensually showed the outlines of her hips and chest...almost like the personification of female charm.

 

“...Kazuki, compared to when hugging you, it is a hundred times more embarrassing being stared at like this, in my Armour, though…” Kaguya blushed, becoming bashful and troubled -- but, at the same time, a heart flew from her chest.

 

Conquering Kaguya…If she said that he needed to be more proactive a girl in this kind of appearance, then it should be okay to do what he wanted, right? Kazuki’s head was filled with chaos and he couldn’t correctly form words.

 

“G, Geez, Kazuki! …Forget the monologue from before!!” Kaguya couldn’t stand Kazuki’s gaze and stopped the conversation. Before quickly saying, “No, it’s okay to remember the monologue about the Knight order and Germany…Shake off the shame!! Then, good night!!”

 

Kaguya leapt off the edge of the bed and ran out of the room.

 

Kazuki’s nervousness faded and he weakly sunk into the bed.

 

The cheek that Kaguya pulled on was tingling.

 

Everyone’s positivity levels floated in front of his eyes on its own.
