It was lunchtime, and the majority of students were out of the class.
The only students here aside from myself were Minori Takeda, Maiya Murata, and Yujiro Masaki.
I would go out on a limb and say that the rest of my classmates were either in the school's cafeteria or just hanging out with their friends.
Minori bought lunch in advance to avoid the rush of people, which I admit was a smart idea. One that I probably should have thought of.
I side-eyed her as she unwrapped a pork cutlet sandwich and bit into it.
I was a bit hungry, and going to the cafeteria is going to be awkward because after I get something there, am I going to sit by myself in there or will I do the walk of friendlessness back to the classroom?
My stomach let out a growl and alerted everyone to my predicament.
"Are you fasting or something?" Minori asked.
"Uh no."
She wrapped up what was left of her sandwich and replied, "So you're willing to starve yourself? You just keep getting stranger and stranger."
Is the person who randomly writes things in her small note book calling me strange? That's basically the pot calling the kettle black.
I sighed and got up from my desk.
Scanning the classroom, I noticed that Yujiro and Maiya actually made their own lunch.
Yujiro doesn't really look like the type to cook, but hey, you learn something new every day.
However, making my own lunch? I am not so confident when it comes to my cooking skills, but if it's just for me to enjoy, then it doesn't seem like a bad idea.
As I walked towards the classroom's door. I observed Maiya. Is she actually a shy girl or is this just an act?
She slowly picked at her food and instantly froze up when I noticed her. So she's one of those people who can't eat when other people are watching them.
I exited the classroom and walked towards the food court.
Aside from the school cafeteria, there were several food spots where the students could rotate their meal choices.
I've never been a big fan of fast food, but I do enjoy it on occasion.
Still in the main school building, I walked past three of my female classmates. They were talking to a girl from a different class.
It's not strange to make friends in different classes, even though we are pitied against each other at times.
Finally, out of the building and into the food court.
The area is packed with students. Obviously, because it is lunch time.
I looked at my options and couldn't settle on one. Hmm, might as well go to the convenience store if I can't pick and that I did.
I approached the automatic doors of the convenience store and they opened for me.
The inside wasn't as crowded as I assumed it would be. There were a handful of students in there.
I walked fully inside when I passed a male student who side-eyed me. Well, that's not weird at all.
I walked past the different shelves. Should I just get a sandwich and a drink? That would be the cheapest and quickest option right now.
OK! It's decided that's what I'll get. I grabbed a random sandwich and a bottle of juice, then made my way to the register.
I pulled out my wallet and pulled out the exact amount, paying the cashier and receiving my bagged goods.

Placing my bag on the counter, I put my wallet in my left pants pocket as I felt the stare of that same male student who I passed on the way in.
I said, in a slightly louder manner, "Oh yeah. I almost forgot that I needed to check the price on something else."
I grabbed my bag and went back to the same shelf, but this time behind it.
After a few moments, I found what I was looking for and exited the store.
As soon as I stepped out of the store, the male student bumped into me on my left side and apologized. Shortly after, he walked away in a somewhat suspicious manner.
There was a girl observing the entire situation as I walked past her. She said, "You do realize that you almost got your wallet stolen, right?"
I stopped and replied, "Not really."
To be honest, I noticed the guy's behavior and purposely pulled out my wallet in front of him, then placed it in my left pocket. Afterwards, I pretended to look for something, then slipped the wallet into my right back pocket.
I didn't want to outright confront the male about his shaky behavior, so I chose the easiest option.
The girl looked at me in a curious manner and said, "So you already knew what was going to happen?"
"Yeah, just call it street smarts."
She observed me further and replied, "I have never heard of a student referring to their actions as "street smarts."
"Oh. Well, I should feel honored about being your first."
Wait, I think that response came out wrong.
"What's your name and which class are you from?"
I was surprised she didn't react to what I perviously said
I nervously said, "Yuki Amaya and class 1-4."
She introduced herself as Asuka Itou, from class 1-3.
I would say that Asuka is roughly 5'5 with long silver hair and green eyes. She has a petite body but at the same time, a little on the curvaceous side. I am not sure how that's possible, but that's how I see it.
Asuka observed me even further and replied, "I heard a rumor about class 1-4."
"Which is?"
"I don't think I should because it can be false and I hate to spread misinformation. However, I will say that it has something to do with the entire class as a whole."
I sighed and replied, "Well, that still isn't very informative."
Asuka walked away and replied, "If it turns out to be true, then prepare for a class-sized revelation."
I dislike cryptic responses, but if what she's saying is true, then I wonder what it could be.
