Chapter 3: III.

I left the crime scene and began strolling the streets again. I walked around until around midday when I noticed a heavier police presence, It was obvious they were looking for someone. It seems they found who they were looking for because I had guns pointed at me.

"PUT YOUR HANDS UP VILLAIN!" I knew they were going to catch me eventually, but this quickly? I sighed and slowly put my hands up. An officer got close to try and cuff me, big mistake. My hand moved faster than he could react and I chopped him on the neck, knocking him out. The officers immediately reacted and fired bullets at me.

I acted fast and used a technique I saw Bang doing, Water Stream Encampment.  Now it was far from perfect, but it was enough for me to not get pelted by bullets. Every single bullet that entered the encampment I destroyed until every officer was out of bullets.

I used another technique I saw Bang doing, I think it was called Instant Movement. I performed the special footwork needed, it wasn't as fluid as needed but it got the job done. Using this technique, I appeared in front of an officer and immediately struck his weak points, causing him to pass out as well.

I spun on my pivot to strike another officer in his face but my fist stopped inches away from his face. I took a look at my arm and saw that it was being held by strings, when I looked at the culprit, it was a blonde hero with ridiculous pink glasses and a pink feather sash over his neck.

"It's the string hero, Itonomi!" I clicked my tongue in annoyance as I broke the strings that were holding my arm hostage.

"I will stop you here and today villain!" Itonomi declared as hundreds of strings came out of his fingertips and made their way toward me. I have no time for this hero bullshit. I made my fingers into a claw fashion and got low.

"Iron Whirlwind!" A whirlwind of pressurized air cut its way through the air and Itonomi's strings. Itonomi created a barrier of strings that completely stopped Iron Whirlwind in its tracks. I used Instant Movement to close the distance between us and once he put down his barrier, my fist was nearing his face.

Itonomi had no time to react and my fist made contact with his face, sending him into a nearby police car. I used Instant Movement again and appeared in front of Itonomi with both of my fists cocked back, I was planning to use a technique I created myself.

"Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist: Heavy Rain!" My fists were covered in a blue aura as they pelted Itonomi's body. As I punched Itonomi, I felt his ribs, nose, and jaw break. I continued to punch Itonomi until he was a bloody pulp and for my final punch, I put all of my strength into punching his skull, caving his head in.

"Haaa...haaa...haaa..." Blood dripped from my fists as I panted out of exhaustion. The police officers and nearby civilians watched in horror, as they witnessed a hero get killed right in front of them.

"Oh my god..."

"I think I'm going to be sick..."

"He's a monster!"

When I heard these comments I could only laugh. If a hero were to do the same thing to a villain he would be congratulated, but now that I do it I'm a monster? Hypocritical...

I wiped the blood on my hands on Itonomi's body and walked right past the police officers who were too afraid to do anything to me. That was until one brave cop decided to try and hit me with his baton, key word tried.

I dodged his baton and counterattacked with a chop to his neck, knocking him out. I sighed and almost left the scene but another interruption came in the form of a hero, a very angry hero.

This hero had brown skin, bright red hair, and a suit made of fire, "You are going to pay for what you did to Itonomi! I SWEAR IT!" The red-haired hero exploded with flames and was in front of me within moments. His fist was cocked back and covered in flames, I knew I wouldn't be able to dodge so I put my hands up to block.

Once his fist made contact with my arms I felt the strongest punch I've ever received travel through my body, jolting me inside and out. I felt my left arm break and the skin on that arm was done for, it was burned to a crisp. The force of his punch sent me flying through the air and into a nearby building, further adding to the damage I've received.

I felt blood drip down from my head to my chin as I laid in the wall I got lodged into. I used my right arm to climb out of the wall and I was immediately met with a fist made of fire. I knew I couldn't take another blow like that so I used Instant Movement to get out of the way.

The flame fist burned everything that was standing behind me previously and I saw the red-haired hero at the entrance of the hole I made in the building. Despite my current situation, a smile couldn't help but creep onto my face.

"Why are you smiling villain?! DO YOU THINK THIS IS A GAME?!" The red-haired hero exploded in anger again and tried to land an ax kick on me. I rolled out of the way and there was a brief opening on his right side that I took advantage of.

Using Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist, I punched the red-haired hero straight in the face. My punch sent the hero flying into the next room over. Moments after sending him flying through a wall, I saw a claw made of fire approaching me.

I leaned to the left to avoid the flame claw and the sheer amount of heat exuding from the attack singed the skin on my chest and neck. Although I've taken what many would consider heavy amounts of damage, I could only feel the engine in my soul roaring louder and louder.

"You are a tenacious villain, which only makes it more gratifying when I, Flare, take you down!" At those very words, the smile on my face only got wider and I got into my signature fighting stance, only this time with one hand.

"Bring it on, hero!"
