Chapter 50: Burning calories!

"I am really fine now, Kazu kun. Don't worry."

"How can I not? Until I dont get fully satisfied you are not leaving the bed, understood?" I obediently nodded at the serious remark of my husband.

Today we both skipped school and were staying home. It was a fantasy-like setting where Kazu kun was taking care of me lovingly and was worried for me. The natural caring expression of his makes my heart race without fail.

"Now wait. I will bring something for you". I nodded as he swept his hand over my head before leaving the room.

I leaned back on the bed while facing the ceiling aimlessly. Yesterday, I did something hideous. Something, which no person would like to get involved with. Yet, I did it with my closest person.

'But even so...' I was explaining to myself, since yesterday that what I did was okay.

I knew Kazu kun's uncle was a nosy person who would gather information about his(Kazu), parents, which would eventually lead him to ask me about it. And in this world, I could do anything except lie to my Zuzu.

I knew if he asks I would probably give away all the 'mindblowing', deeds I have done in the past. That's why I made this plan and planted my pieces accordingly. Well, I was dehydrated but fainting and the doctor's reports were displayed in my accordance.

Was I feeling guilty?

Yes, I was. But I couldn't bear to take the risk. What if, my love doesn't seem worthy to Kazu kun and he leaves. I mean, he would probably abandon me if he knows the truth.

'No... it's good what I did. Until Kazu kun is on my side, everything is fine. I just need him and he needs me. No one could come between us. No one even they are...'

*Click*

My storm of thoughts halted in an instant upon seeing the gentle face of my Kazu kun. He had a tray in hand which had various things kept over it. He approached me and after putting it on the side cabinet he kneeled to my face level.

The concern in his eyes was still lingering a tight thread in my heart but I somehow controlled myself from confessing everything. 

" Stop thinking so much. Will you?" He started rubbing my cheeks with his warm palms.

"Uu. Kazu kun I am weak now. Dont be harsh". I complain but I didn't feel anything from it except his love. 

" Is it harsh than what about this..." Just after retracting his hands, he leaned forward and pecked once on my cheek. 

"///" I felt my face burning up instantly. The place where his soft lips touched was still fresh and kept on reminding me how it felt. The phrase 'Remembering something physically', came into my mind as I became speechless.

"Ah... it's cheating!" It was too much for my small heart to handle so I hid my face behind the quilt. I heard him chuckle for some moments when he again called me.

"Here I learnt something today so I made it. I hope it doesn't taste bad". I threw the covers with sparkly eyes and looked toward the tray that Kazu kun brought. Because of his sudden attack, I wasn't able to take a look at it before.

" Ta-da! I dont know what it is since its name was in French but it certainly is sweet". I looked at it carefully and after testing a spoonful I realized what it was.

"Pain d'épices". The bread was very fluffy and sweet to taste. The added cherries were right to bite and not annoying in amount. It was unbelievable that he made this in one go.

" Y-yeah that. I asked your father about this and he narrated everything thoroughly. I still owe him huge thanks for being so patient with a noobie like me." He scratched his head in embarrassment as he said.

'Aaa...Kawai'.

Well, it was a little disappointing that I wasn't the one who taught him when I could make better than dad, but still, the warmth which unfurled inside me made that disappointment shrouded. I looked at him gleefully as he held the spoon and tore another chunk of it before bringing it toward my lips.

"Hai. Aaah~"

"Aaam" I took the cake and soon he also ate the cake with the same spoon, making my chewing speed increase. 

We ate the sweet cake which tasted much sweeter with every bite I took.

After eating he fed me with water, wiped my face, and tugged me in again. The feeling of being pampered was oddly satisfying. 

"I ate so much sugar. I have to run an extra lap tomorrow". I muttered to myself planning my next day's course. 

" No not happening. You are not leaving bed until tomorrow and no physical labor for a week at least." My eyes went wide as I stared in disbelief at my love who didn't tell something lovely right now.

"A-a-a week! Impossible". I shook my head strongly when a tight hold gripped my shoulder.

" I wasn't asking Madam Tsubaki. You are not allowed to work out for the week or no cuddling at night". I felt my world collapsing as he laid punishment in front of me. 

"No cuddling. How this...Kazu kun I love you a little less now". I couldn't bear to say the 'hate' word to him so this much would help him realize his mistake and he might decrease the detention period.

" Hoh! So no cuddling won't bother you anymore right?" 

"...Kazu kun, do you dislike me?" My internal reasoning started fading away. Kazu kun was so cruel even though the doctor said to be nice to me.

"Hey don't cry okay. Okay, let's do this. I have a way by which you can lose calories without moving. You know how?" I have done various workouts under numerous trainers but I never heard of such a way of controlling my size.

"No. What is it Kazu kun". With hopeful eyes, I directed my gaze toward him. He smirked a little with his ears growing visibly red. I was clueless for some second but when he started approaching my face I suddenly realized what he meant.

" Haaa..haaah" Tsubaki was panting heavily with her lips parted a little, trying to inhale as much oxygen as she could. Her lips were red around the corners with a little swelling making her even more attractive. The drop of tears at the corner of her eyes told me that I was a little harsh but strangely it felt much better than last time.

"So how was it?" I asked as the workout we did was satisfying and a calorie burner too. Win-win for both of us.

"Kazu kun has become a pervert". Tsubaki complain while trying to hide her heated face away. She was so cute in the midway of our kissing that I ended up desiring her even more.

" It's your fault. Who told you to be so cute".  I rubbed her head in protest. The way she reacts so much when I flirt, was a treat to watch every time. However occasionally whenever her unconscious face comes to my mind I feel bitter in my heart. 

'No. I have to take care of her more.' Even having so much money that she could afford countless servants, she chose to live alone with me. So naturally, I must take care of her well-being as she always does.

"Kazu kun?" She titled her head as she felt my movement halted for quite some time. I refocused my eyes on her with a smile forming on my face.

"Ah, nothing. Let's eat something ".

For lunch, I prepared two instant ramen. Since the ingredients present inside the refrigerator were way out of my league to cook, I concluded on the best weapon for every bachelor.

It was quite tasty but Tsubaki didn't like much and I had to help her finish it in the end. After eating we both plopped down on the couch. As soon as my butt touched the comfy, a series of vibrations came from my side pocket. I took out my phone and saw Sayo san's texts.

Before replying,  I glanced over at Tsubaki who was trying to peek at the message content.

As she felt my gaze on her she pretended to be aimlessly gawking at nothing.

I shook my head in helplessness before I asked her.

" Kunimi and Sayo san are asking to come over. Is it okay?" Even though I call it my home too, I wasn't too lenient in inviting guests on my own without asking her.

"Yeah sure. You don't have to ask Kazu kun". It looked like she saw through me and said with a pout. I texted back to them with a location pin attached to my text.

After throwing my phone randomly on the couch I sat cross-legged while facing the Tv which had a random drama showing up.

" Tsubaki. What have you thought about the future?" I asked casually as I still haven't decided what kind of course, I should pursue.

"In future fufu. We will marry just after school then will fly the world for our honeymoon then..then...kyaah! I can't say it". I facepalmed on the maiden's response who was overflowing in love.

" Not that. And we aren't marrying after school. I was asking about uni and stuff." On my remark, she just shook her head like I was gone case before replying.

"About that. Well, I  am thinking to join the culinary school so I can start my restaurant after graduation." I nodded in agreement as it was the best option for her. Her cooking skills were far greater than I had seen in restaurants so her wish to open a restaurant would surely succeed.

"Well, I was thinking to apply in SBS. Business studies aren't my interest but in that college, I can play baseball and maybe get selected for a higher league. And even that doesn't happen the placement rate of that uni is good than many others ". I never discussed my plans with anyone as I was always insecure about it. But I felt Tsubaki could help me decide so I confessed without holding back.

" Hmm. So you want to play baseball while studying something useful huh. Don't worry Kazu kun I will take care of it." I frowned and looked toward her. But before I could ask a sudden sound pulled my attention.
