Of Foreign Dead and Local Gods

A young woman named Lou Bukian has the curious ability to conjure the dead, and this ability is used by a nameless god of the land to seal ghosts by binding them to her and returning them to the afterlife. She travels with her sister, a sorcerer, and a martial artist and a demon to a foreign country on the sea to further her studies into her abilities. She must solve the crimes of both the living and dead to satisfy the gods, and try not to get possessed by a murderous spirit in the process—or worse, be consumed by the demon she carries with her since childhood.
