( POV - Liliana )
‘I regret everything’ I think to myself, cringing at the feeling of having my brain overflowing with useless information.
My spacial sense is covering everything within a 5000-meter radius of me, if I didn't have my passive skills my head would've most likely exploded or something. It's making me feel nauseous. Even if I do have the capability to think like 10-15 thoughts, no one will use that at all times when their favorite pass-time is reading. And the moment I put this crown on my head I had to exercise my ingenious mind more than I have for the last- scratch that... I've never even used it before in my life!
On the bright side, I found them. There are eleven of them, 10 of them are walking away from Shaltear in a group while one of them is trailing behind, hidden in the trees. I shut off my spatial perception with a strained smile, let’s fetch ourselves a fun little tool…
“Cleria, I’m not entirely sure of their strength. Bugs may be bugs but they still bite, and from what I’ve observed, they are in possession of some rather dangerous items. Shaltie is currently standing motionless in the forest so we’ll have to check up on her after picking up my new pet.” I tell my faithful subordinate.
She nods and the air around her shudders, revealing her armor and crimson shield attached to her left arm. Which surprised me because I had never noticed her equip it. She looked at me through her red scarf and horned helmet with some hints of confidence and relief.
“I had already prepared myself when you were analyzing your gear, mistress.” She explained with some pride in her voice.
‘Of course, I was ready, when my mistress needs something I will know before she even thinks it.’ Cleria projects to herself with a smirk beneath her red scarf.
‘Yep, she’s definitely getting a reward!’ I inwardly comment with a bright smile.
I turn in the direction of the humans and grab her by the armored hand.
“Before we go in, I want you to act only when they attack me.” I clarify
She nods without question but I can see the confusion in her eyes.
I then teleport us 100 meters ahead of the humans and walk in their direction. Using my magic to nourish the ground beneath me to make some pretty red flowers bloom wherever my silk?-covered feet touch, bumping up my charm a few levels.
'They'll never see it coming mwahaha!' I think to myself, rubbing my hands while laughing maliciously in my heart.
( POV - Agnis (Divine Chant))
That vampire was very strong, I initially attempted to restrain her with divine magic but she shrugged it off- no, it didn't even reach her. It was a humbling yet shocking experience, to say the least, we are the strongest humans the noblest race... the superior race! These monsters should be no threat to us, we were going to face a dragon! And a vampire killed two of us and critically injured one in less than 15 minutes...
‘Doesn’t matter, I should focus on healing Kaire for now. She is an essential asset to us, we can always resurrect the others. I just hope we don’t encounter that vampire in the same situation…’ I shrug off and put more energy into healing her wounds.
We walk ( or float ) passively for a few minutes until the captain tells us to stop and keeps gazing into the trees while gripping his spear. At first, I was confused at the sudden stop but then I heard it too.
Steps. Someone was skipping in our direction, in the middle of a massive forest with a bandit hideout at its center.
They all got into position for a possible fight around me and gazed in the direction of the steps. But what came out of the darkness of the forest was not what we expected.
Anyone would be awaiting a random psychopath with massive killing intent and a devious smile to exit those trees. No… it was a teenage girl with a beautiful smile, strolling around like a princess in her castle.
I took the brief moment of surprise to take in her appearance.
The moon shone brightly on her petite figure, making her pale skin stand out and shine. Her hair was platinum with a multicolored tint, it looked so soft... and it glittered while fluttering gently behind her back with the wind. Her face had the purest of smiles filled with childishness and her golden eyes held amusement as they gazed into mine, ignoring everyone around me.
It made me feel tranquil, as if the adrenaline from the battle a few seconds ago had vanished without a trace. I just wanted to sit down and relax in her presence.
Her clothing only added to her charm, it made her look cute and pure, like the white crystal lilies my mother loved so much…
( white crystal lilies - A plant I just made up. )
At this moment it felt like everything vanished and it was only the two of us in this world.
“Hello?” The captain called out in confusion, breaking me out of my trance.
She ignored him and continued on her way while looking directly at me.
“Could it be a spirit?” Gambit murmured to himself while gazing at her.
We were convinced she was harmless, after all, her mana was slightly above gambit and she wasn’t projecting any evil intent with her actions. Only curiosity, wonder, and amusement could be felt in her aura.
The moment she reached about 4 steps away from us, she slowed down into a graceful walk. Wherever her feet touched, several vivid red flowers would bloom, pulsating with mana.
We just watched her without making a move, usually, we would have already killed her and moved on. But she was neither a dryad nor an elemental, she was something completely new to us.
An anomaly. And just the thought of harming such a precious creature is ridiculous. If she was a human-spirit hybrid we could take her with us to join black scripture.
The soft pats got louder and louder until she reached my side, at this moment Lady Kaire had already stabilized and reached the state of vegetative recovery, which I now regret because I was exhausted from pouring my energy into her non-stop.
She looked into my eyes with her golden pupils as the surroundings became dead silent…
The captain suddenly pointed his spear at her with caution in his eyes, but he did not attack. Because a massive killing intent fell on us from the trees and the wind became turbulent. Making our clothes flutter violently as the trees struggled to hold onto the ground, but not a single strand of her hair moved, she just kept looking at me with that soft smile as the wind avoided her body completely.
Noticing that the conflict would cause more loss than gain, the captain put down his weapon reluctantly. And the killing intent dissipated along with the small storm, but he still seemed very uncomfortable.
“I feel like something is wrong with this girl, we should leave. I’m sure you felt it too…” he said as he turned back in the direction we were heading.
“Captain, we should investigate this creature. There are no records of this kind of spirit, and she seems to be very human-like in behavior. Maybe we can have her join us.” Gambit ( 3rd Seat ) suggested with greed in his eyes.
I was about to agree but I felt a delicate pair of hands on my cheeks redirecting my gaze to its former place.
I was now immersed in the spirits’ hypnotic golden eyes as her smile grew into a playful grin.
“Can I take you to my special place?” she asked in a childish yet beautiful voice.
I was confused at first, looking down into her adorable face, I felt conflicted… This could go both ways for-
“Do it, this could be an amazing discovery!” Gambit whispered excitedly.

“...” Captain just watched cautiously.
The others around us were just watching from the side with interest. Except for the big oaf (Strongest human) and the mess of a mage (11th seat).
“Yes…” I replied, slightly unsure but very curious.
She giggled happily and the next thing I saw was darkness…
( POV - Gambit )
I felt a disturbance in the magic around us, as they disappeared from our view.
“I wonder what she’ll see… I’m quite envious of her.” I comment as I think of the mysteries behind the spirit's existence.
“Doesn’t matter, wake up Lady Kaire and bring her to the best condition you can. Then we’ll try to bring the girl to our side…” The captain ordered while looking around warily.
“Yes, I have many experiments I would rather have her perform willingly,” I said as I turned to the injured woman.
‘Hmm?’
‘Where the hell is the hag? She was here just a second ago.’ I think to myself as I look around.
“Did she move or something?” I muttered
Seemingly hearing me, he turned to me and looked at the empty patch of grass with the outline of her body. His eyes widened as his figure phased away from his position.
>5 minutes later
I heard him running around the area for a while before he came back with his teeth gritted with rage. And by this time, we were already aware of what just happened.
“I cannot find a trace of them, neither Agnis nor Lady Kaire… We just let two members get kidnaped right before our eyes…” I calmly announced, but his aura was anything but calm.
I gripped my staff in frustration at my curiosity and lack of caution.
“We will search this forest for the next 24 hours without rest. And if we can’t find them, be prepared for the consequences.” he continued as he dashed into the trees once more.
We didn’t waste a second before using our full capabilities to find the “Spirit”.
‘When I find that little bitch I’ll turn her into either a mindless weapon or broodmare!’ I thought to myself in rage.
( POV - Liliana )
“So! How was my performance?” I asked Cleria while floating both the old vermin and my new pet.
“Breathtaking my lady, Lord Ainz would certainly be proud.” She responded with a metallic voice.
I puffed out my chest with pride, who else could pull off such an amazing performance but me!?
“But there is a flaw in this situation... We won't be able to confirm Lady Shaltear's current state without being detected by them. And we should try our best to make sure we aren’t associated with anyone else in Nazarick…” She continued with some reluctance in her voice.
‘I FORGOT THEY WOULD TRY TO SEARCH FOR ME!’ I shouted in my head but kept a neutral expression on my face.
“W- Well my dear servant, you seem to have forgotten my genius… It was all according to malefic plan, now they won’t think I’m with Shaltie!” I replied with a smirk.
“Oh! Indeed, their wizards seemed slightly competent and they will most likely search for traces of these women, if they search around Lady Shaltear they won't find anything and remove the possibility of a connection between us,” Cleria said as if she had come to a realization and nodded her head approvingly.
“Your intelligence knows no bounds, my lady.” She continued with admiration in her voice.
I blushed at my mistake and turned away from her.
“Well, I'm going give Albedo a report of the situation now…” I said while reigning in my shame.
( POV - Albedo )
It's only been four days since they left, yet I can’t get rid of this feeling that something is amiss.
I’ve tried to think of the reason but I just couldn’t make up a probable situation where something goes wrong. For the first 52 hours, I tried to distract myself, either by cleaning up the throne room in my free time or by losing myself to Lord Ainz’ plans for world domination. But even then, it just kept itself at the back of my mind!
‘Liliana may be inexperienced, but she is accompanied by Shaltear and Cleria. Cleria should keep Liliana mostly out of trouble… Sebas is Sebas and Solution will stay in line with him around… I have contacted Lord Ainz every day and he has yet to meet any problems. Could it be Demiurge? No. I doubt he would ever cause trouble for us. This is so frustrating!’ I thought to myself while hugging my newly made plushies, one of them was my cute little Liliana and the other was my beloved Lord Ainz.
Out of nowhere, I felt Liliana try to establish a connection with me through a communication scroll.
( POV - Liliana )
I tried to establish a mental link with Albedo and she accepted almost immediately.
“Are you okay?” Albedo asked in a worried and slightly desperate voice.
"Yes, but something happened..."

> This is Clerias armour. ( The helmet should have the same colour scheme as the armour. Ignore the crossbow/quiver)
> This shield is fused into her more bulky arm.
