Chapter 5: Chapter 4: Awaken,Shiny Constellation Guardian Taurus ! (3)

After Manabu's math class was over.

"Seriously, Nozomi ?"

The girl said to Nozomi she had brown short hair with a small red ribbon wrapped on the side of it, she had emerald-green colored eyes, she was wearing the same uniform as the girl that she was talking to and she had a worried look on her face, she then continued.

"Are you really gonna do this again this year ? Why is it so hard to come to class on time ? You're really lucky that the teacher was in a good mood since it was the first day of class, otherwise you probably would ONLY enter when her class was over, hey are you even listening ?"

She asks Nozomi, who was seated in a school chair located at the back of the class on the right side with her being next to the windows that showed the P.E class of another classroom practicing on the school's running track that circled around a soccer field, she was laying her face on the table in front of her avoiding all kinds of eye contact, like she was trying to ignore her childhood friend, Yoshino Kettei, complaining on her being late, who was now pinching her cheeks to call her attention.

She keeped pinching until Nozomi couldn't take anymore and gave in, now giving her friend attention while pointing trying to disguise the pain, with one side of her cheek now red, she then said.

"I'am sorry, ok, i'll try to do better...it's not my fault if school is so boring and hard, specially math, if i had a brother like yours to help me with everything it would at least be just boring  !"

Yoshino just shakes her head while sighing, now figuring that this would go nowhere she decided to change the subject.

"Anyway...did you hear about the new professor that's gonna teach in our class ? I heard that he graduated recently, this being his first school, i hadn't seen him yet, but rumors say that he's quite the looker !"

That got her interested, making her think for a moment.

'A new teacher ? Well, this could make things less boring around here, and if he's so new he might be less strict with me when i end up waking up late'

Nozomi then exits her thoughts before then asking her best friend with a hint of both interest for the news and a way to tease Yoshino as payback for pinching her cheeks.

"Ok, so what's the name of this "Looker" of a teacher that got you already dreamy-eyed ?"

She asked, without bothering to hide her teasing grim, giving her a knowing look, Yoshino gave her an unamused look, raising one of her eyebrows.

"Really ? That's the best you can come up with to get back at me for scolding you ?"

She answered her question with another question in a deadpan voice, Nozomi recoiled a little. She didn't expect that Yoshino would catch on so quickly to her intentions, she then looked to the side bashfully, not wanting to meet with her friend's eyes.

Then, the door slides open, getting the attention of the class, from the open door entered a young, good looking man with blond hair, with sapphire-blue colored eyes, while wearing rimless reading glasses, a light blue dress shirt, a light gray khakis, and black shoes, all of them looking extremely well made, and most likely, expensive, while carrying what appears to be an english school book with his right arm and a black backpack, the class then got back to their seats.

The man then walked until he was at the teacher's table, putting the book on top of it and doing the same with the backpack, he then looked at the direction of the class for a moment, he then spoke to the class.

"My name is Shigoto Seikatsu, i am gonna be your english teacher for this year, i hope we can learn a lot together."

He said with a calm and collective voice, not giving him the idea of being a novice teacher, but instead with the confidence of an experienced one, he then gave a light bow with a small smile on his face, giving a quick glance to everyone in the class who was looking at him at that moment.

'Ugh, even though i have seen some images of how the people in this kind of worlds look like, it’s still feels, to me at least, unsettling to actually see up close so many big-eyes staring at me and…now that i am giving the proper look at the students here…why do they all look older than they actually are ? Granted, not as old looking as the teachers, but certainly, for me at least, not out of place if i saw them at a company while wearing the proper clothes…interesting.'

His glance then falled on a familiar girl with messy short hair, brown eyes, with the same uniform as the other girls. He then quickly glances away before anyone could notice.

‘So that is the protagonist, hum, i mean…it could be worse, it could be an offensive design. That would be a headache-and-a-half to deal with. But being bland isn’t that much better either, especially considering that i almost didn’t find her among these extras. And to think i will have to make her story interesting, talk about a tall order, hopefully her friends can help with things.’

He then snapped out of his monologue when the class seemed to be in silence, waiting for him to continue, he fake coughed in slight embarassement, then he continued.

"In any case, since i am new here i would like to know the names of my students. Please say ‘Here’, when your name is called."

He said with the same calm smile that exuded the confidence of an experienced person, even though he looked so young, some students in the back even started whispering, trying to not call attention.

'I could hear what they are saying if i increased the over-armor's volume, but...it's probably not important, heh, only the likes of Magic and the one who got me into this job, Technology, would be so obsessive to go out of their way to not miss a single detail even if it's trivial to the current job, no wonder they ended up together.

He thought, shaking his head a little, then he took out a sheet of paper out of the backpack with the students names and started the name call with the students. But,when he actually paid attention to read the sheet he was given, his line of thought stopped dead in its tracks.

'What the-, why it’s all scribbles ? Wait, did i forgot to activate the [Reality-Translator] program ? Ugh, why does it always turn off when i go back home ?'

He sighed internally and concetrated mentally to activate the program.

'Activate [Reality-Translator] program.'

The scribbles then turned to actual words, names. Sure, the majority would be forgotten by him, because they are extras, but for the sake of keeping a good first impression, it’s necessary for the moment.

‘Ok,that caught me a little by surprise. I need to see later, eventually, how the laws of this world work if i am to not get caught off-guard in a more serious situation.’

Life then continued to call the students names with them answering whenever they were called for some time, with class continuing after it.
