My indigo-colored eyes stared deeply into the fairies around, causing them to feel my presence. My pupils became vivid once more, almost as if they came back to life.
“Do you all know what jobs are there? I’d like to have an overall idea of what to expect.’
Upon absorbing such a question, everyone stared at Endria, who was good at explaining things and had been a great help to me so far.
“The ones I know are farmer, miner, hunter, these three are the majority and all of them have a lot of issues and are very hard to do.”
“They are? How come?” I questioned her, feeling dumbfounded, doubting her words to the very limit, as there was nothing complicated about it.
“The only tools we have are wooden branches which are cut with stones into long sticks, but then we don’t have anyone anymore with a class that could make them into something better.” I noticed Endria glancing at the ground with a sad look in her eyes as she murmured, holding back her tears.
“In the past, there were a few, but they sadly died of age. Now we do what we can.”
“That’s unfortunate...” I began thinking once more, unaware of how to receive this information.
‘Even if I were to use my long and vast knowledge... if in this world it isn’t applicable without the use of these jobs and I get a useless one, then I’m stuck from the get-go.’
I frowned angrily at myself and at that exact time, a voice came from behind, surprising me.
“Your highness Flamerah, it is almost time.” Unaware of how long it went by I stole a quick glance at the clock.
Clock:
2:42:06 PM
“It seems you’re right, time flew quite fast,” my gaze returned to them. “If the four of you will excuse me, it seems I have something to do.”
“Of course!” They shouted in unison, bowing with small smiles.
Without any time to waste, I returned to my parents, along with one of the guards.
“Your royal highnesses, I’ve returned with your daughter.” They gazed at her amiably, and then the king rose from his seat. “Good job. Let us start the second part of the celebration.”
“Second part? What does it consist of?” I questioned curiously, causing the queen to give a brief explanation.
“Yes, you’ll do a little speech and tell the citizens something you’d like to happen or a wish you’d love to see concretized during your lifetime.”
I nodded quietly with a small smile.
‘I can guess some interesting ideas to cause a great impression.’
The king then clapped twice, and the circles started reappearing around us. He then lifted me, placing me on top of a dead trunk that had been cut for this occasion. Thanks to this, I gained like 30 extra centimeters of height, being able to see everyone bowing in my direction no matter how far they were.

“I am princess Flamerah, and I am indeed a special fairy!” I shouted happily to my heart, content so that everyone could hear me clearly, adding a cute smile at the end of every sentence. From that beginning, they welcomed me with kind, loud words. Then she mimicked the mother’s gest, causing silence to reign in that secluded area.
“Hear me out, for I will bring change into this world!” Their faces rose in shock, looking at me with curious eyes.
“I have a message from the system. A prophecy that in ten years, the black walls that are sighted on the vast horizon will disappear from this world. This will cause diverse races to raid and attempt to destroy us.”
The fairies started standing up from the ground, feeling the pressure of my words and the serious expression carved on my face. There was no longer a single fairy smiling. I had made sure of it. My body then rotated so that everyone could see it, especially my parents, before resuming my speech.
“My wish as the successor of this forest is to win the great war that is to come against all the other races so that I can keep all of you, my great family, alive.”
I placed both hands in the air in a praying pose, looking dignified like a goddess.
“Please, please help me achieve it, and in exchange, we’ll dominate the world and live forever in peace.”
I bowed towards them by curving my back, an unprecedented act from one who owns the royal blood, causing everyone to be greatly stunned.
The king and queen rose from the ground where they were seated, staring at her, dumbfounded.
“Is that really true, daughter?” They asked in unison, perplexed at my speech, at my wish that was so grand that even they felt its weight.
I looked at him with sorrowful eyes, “Yes, father. Everything I said is sadly the whole truth.”
My parents started whispering to each other along with everyone else as my words traveled as fast as the wind. A strong enough breeze that ravaged similar to a tornado.
Shortly after, in doubt or perhaps in need to be sure of the truth, the queen questioned me, “is there any way you can prove what you’re saying, daughter?”
‘There’s no rule that I can’t talk about the tutorial. In other words, let us show them something they haven’t seen yet. Equipment withdraw 100 yellow stones,’ I extended my arms in the air, allowing shiny items to fall around me.
“These are yellow stones that have light in them. I brought them from the realm where the system lives as proof. The rings and necklace I have are also from there.”
I rose my right hand to show them the proof, instantly killing any hint of doubt from the queen’s words. My mother then flew towards me and picked one of them.
“I’ve explored this entire forest and I’ve never seen that grey material in your fingers before, as well as the one from these rocks.”
The queen’s eyes remained enticed by their glow, making the king inspect them, grabbing and passing the stones to everyone so they could see how marvelous the material was. Deep within his mind, he pushed any dubious thoughts, allowing him to be certain of the facts, but at the same time, grief as my words meant the worst future possible to the fairies.
‘This is such a mysterious stone. It came with her as she was just born, so it’s impossible for there to be any lies. Her statement will sadly bring quite a ruckus once the elders hear about it.’
He glanced at his wife, who, too, was lost in thought.
‘We’ll have to change our ways from here onwards and survive no matter the cost. Now that I finally gained a successor, I won’t allow our lives to come to an end easily.’
