Chapter 3: Chapter 3: First Pokemon: Squirtle

In the afternoon, the afterglow of the sunset shines into the interior, sprinkling on the face of the brunette boy sleeping on the bed near the window, the boy frown, his eyelid shaking, then he slowly opens his eyes.
He was in a daze, looking at the unfamiliar ceiling for a while until his mind come back, and he hear the sound of breathing. He sit up slightly and see his partner Pikachu sleeping on his belly, he smiled.
He patted Pikachu's back softly, then he turned to look at the bed next to his, a young girl who have dark black long hair and a small braid next to her face. With the little snore sound, the boy knew the girl was still sleeping.
Then he saw a strange thing. A familiar light blue round thing was sleeping next to Alyssa. Which is the girl. The boy tilted his head and looked at it from a different angle, and he find that is Squirtle who was sleeping there.
Suddenly, the door gently opened, and a young woman peered from the door, and see the boy was awake, smiling at him and opening his mouth to begin to talk. Before she says anything, the boy quickly put his finger on his lip "Shh!" he interrupts, and using the other hand pointed at the sleeping girl.
Daisy, which is the young woman who saw the sleeping girl, nodded to the boy and her lips formed the sentence, ' Ash, do you want to have dinner with us?' Ash didn't hear the voice, but he can read Daisy's mouth movement to guess.
Ash nodded, meanwhile his buddy feel the action of the boy move and open his eye, ''Pi!'' Ash's hand cut off Pikachu's speech by covering its mouth.
He got off the bed slowly and carry Pikachu with him to tiptoe walk toward the doorway. He and Daisy close the door behind them carefully.
"Phew!" They sigh with relief at the same time, look at each other with surprise, and giggle. "Let's go to the dining room, I made Sushi for dinner!" Daisy suggest.
Ash's eyes light up, Pikachu slobber, two humans, and one Pikachu are off their way to eat.

Alyssa was running. Running and running, running through the grassland, passing through the lake with some Pokemon. She doesn't know where is she, and she even doesn't know why is she running.
She and her Pokemon run straight forward and see a figure far way in front of them. Alyssa's mind told her that was the person she is waiting for.
She pats the unknown pokemon below her, asking him to speed up. Alyssa gradually approached the person, but before she reach and call him, the blast of sand dust catch her attention.
Even though Alyssa didn't see it clearly, her mind told her the answer. 'A battle.' Alyssa thinks and puts her hand on her forehead to block the sun, squints her eyes, and adds in her heart, ' The battle between Mr. Aster and Mr. Mao...'
The dust went gone of a sudden, for the replacement, it was two Pokemon at the sides of the battlefield. The two trainers and pokemon looking seriously at one another said the next move fast and at the same time:
"Water blast!"

"Shadow Ball!!"
Looking at the attack and hitting and ensuing one another with a boom, Alyssa's mind got clear and clear. 'I know this battle!' with this thought shot through her mind, she realized that she is actually dreaming, which means a lucid dream.
'But why am I here?' She asks herself, and looking at the battle, "Squirtle!Squirtle!" A happy voice comes down next to her, Alyssa looks down, and the little one looks up, their eyes meet.
Alyssa doesn't know why, but she picks Squirtle up in her arms, pointing to the battle, "When I was young... younger than now, I was weak and sick a lot..." said Alyssa.

A four or five-year-old girl appears next to the battlefield, her face was pale, but her eyes were very bright watching the battle.
"My parents are archaeologists and are friends with Mr.Mao. Because of work, they put me in Mr. Mao's house, and I grew up with Pokémon since I was a child." Alyssa looks at the pokemon next to the younger Alyssa, "Although the pokemon in Mr.Mao sometimes well fight. But the official first battle in my whole life to watch is this one,"
She adds, seriously," The battle between Mr.Mao and his friend Mr. Aster, they were the two who led me to become a trainer."
The blue snake pokemon rush over the battlefield, the ribbons falling on both sides and the tail emitting iron-colored brilliance at the same time. As this Pokémon spins in the sky, it attacks the opponent fiercely and sharply.
His opponent, a humanoid Pokémon, not to be outdone, opened a green barrier, and when the barrier was broken, teleported and disappeared to the ground.
When she reappears, she is in the dead corner of the snake-shaped Pokémon. She put her hands in front and makes a dark black ball instantly, and it will face and attack the opponent. The Snake Pokémon's ribbon turns iron again, and it hits the Shadow Ball back.
Squirtle shock and amazement in just a few minutes of fighting, even Alyssa, who is the one who has seen it before can not calm down her inner excitement.
"The most amazing is coming!" Alyssa said excitedly, holding Squirtle tight, Squirtle feel uncomfortable a bit, but he couldn't care about it in the next second.
Two lights cover all over the battlefield, and in a few minutes, two brand new look Pokémon replace the spot.
"Squirtle..."Squirtle's eyes twinkled, he can feel the power of those pokemon from far away here, and his heart beats fast.
Squirtle and Alyssa, the trainer and Pokémon, at this moment, have the same mood and desire: to become stronger, they want to become stronger, and they want to challenge these powerful existences in front of me...
Alyssa whispered, "Spirit Evolution..." she didn't see her white eyes shadow appear again on her face, and this time is more clearly than they fight with Team Rocket.

The space of the area starts to shake, Alyssa and Squirtle looking at the people in front calm and peaceful.

Before they disappear in this dream, Alyssa looks down at Squirtle, "Squirtle, Will you be my partner?" She asked, softly.
Squirtle turns his head and gives Alyssa a firm smile, "Squirtle!Squirtle!" said Squirtle.
They disappear from the dream, only left echoing Alyssa's chuckle, "Welcome, my partner."

Back in the room, Alyssa open her eyes and sit up to stretch, "What a dream!" said Alyssa, "Squirtle!" a voice called from her back, Alyssa looks over the shoulder, and sees the light blue pokemon with a round head, she smiles and reaches her hand to rub the smooth head.
"Squirtle~" he let out a cry of comfortable, a joy of smile appear on Alyssa's face, then she put down her hand, and turn over to face Squirtle.
Squirtle sees Alyssa's face turns serious, and he hears, "Although I had asked you before in our dream," she said, reaching her hand out, "But I still want to be more formal, "
She take a deep breath and said, "will you become my first Pokemon and challenge various difficulties together in the future? "
Squirtle earnestly nodded, and put his little hand on top of Alyssa's hand, "Squirtle!!" The loud voice echoed throughout the room, filled with his determination to agree.
A gust of wind comes out of nowhere blowing in the room. From the button of the two, it appears lights circle under each one of them. Alyssa's color is white, and Squirtle's is blue when the two lights meet, Alyssa said, "The Key Is In Our Hand!!" as she said the wind becomes stronger and stronger, in a few seconds Squirtle had disappeared from the room, only left was Alyssa, and the back her of the hand of the pattern.

And the pattern was just like a red and white Pokeball!!

Alyssa and her new buddy walked toward the dining room, this is her fifth time walking in Professor. Oak's house, so she doesn't need to be worried about being lost in the house.
They approach the dining room door, and before Alyssa opens the door, she hears, "It is so amazing, I had a dream all about the past of our journey, and Pikachu is with me! Right, Pikachu?" A familiar excited voice comes from the room.

"Pika pika!" Pikachu's cheers voice follows.
Alyssa and Squirtle look at each other, Alyssa turns back and opens the door, "Hey, guys! Miss us?" she said playfully.

"Squirtle!?" Squirtle cooperative to tilt his head.
"Alyssa! You awake!!" Ash said happily and jump off his chair to walk over to them, "We've been so worried about your long sleep!' said Ash and look Alyssa up and down to make sure she is really alright.
Daisy smiles and points to the table, "We have sushi today, go and wash you're to eat!"
After washing their hands, everyone sid next to each other, by the time they were eating, "I decide Squirtle be my partner!" Alyssa announce with a bit bite of the sushi.
"Squirtle!!"Squirtle raises his food to agree.
Ash, Pikachu, and Daisy look at one another with surprise.
"Congratulations!" said Daisy, smiling.
Pikachu waves his tail to high-five Squirtle's tail:" Pikapi!" he cheered for him.
Squirtle smiles and shares his food.
"You guys will make the best partners! Just like me and Pikachu!" Ash Ash was happy for his friend, and Pikachu echoed "Pikapika!!"
Alyssa nodded seriously, "We will!" she promised. Then she change the topic, "Before I come into the dining room, I think I heard you say you had the same dream with Pikachu, do you?" She asked.
Ash didn't think much, put another sushi in his mouth, and answered quickly, "Yep, isn't it cool? " he adds, "I have never had the same dream with Pikachu before, isn't this mean proves our relationship is the best?" He said with exclaim.

Daisy chuckled and nodded.
Alyssa looked at Ash, then look at Pikachu and Squirtle, then turn back to Ash. She guessed, but she didn't say anything, she decided to make sure until they went to Dongyao Region, Mr. Mao is the expert on this.
They have a wonderful dinner time...except for the professor. Oak. His own granddaughter just forgot her grandfather didn't eat yet, and he is hungry for research...
