Chapter 23: The Pleiades

Autumn: "The Secret Armour." 

Mustard: "Yes little one, the Secret Armour of The Pokemon Dojo. If you can complete the test which consists of three trials then you may have 'that'. " 

Autumn was a little interested in what this Secret Armour could be which Mustard speaks so highly of meanwhile Leon and Honey were slightly surprised but quickly composed themselves. Autumn noticed the changes in expression of both Leon and Honey by relying on his peripheral vision though it was for a small amount of time he still noticed it. 

Autumn: 'This Secret Armour may be more than what I had originally in mind. Now I am more interested in getting this Armour, Guess it's time to get serious.' 

Autumn's demeanour had become serious, seeing this Mustard nodded and knew that Autumn was ready and was not taking this lightly. You can feel a different atmosphere if the surrounding is different from what it was before. Autumn was now more focused as well because it's not every day he could get these sorts of challenges but the problem is whether this would be a challenge or not. 

Mustard: "Seems like you are ready but there is still one more thing before we start." 

Autumn: "What is it Sensei?" 

Mustard: "Take this and wear it." 

Mustard then brought out a keikogi it was a snazzy yellow and black training clothes also known as the Dojo Uniform. Autumn received the Dojo Uniform and ask where the changing room was after that, he went toward the changing room and wore his new set of training clothes. 

Honey: "Oh you look good in that." 

Leon: *nods "That looks good." 

Autumn: "Can I ask you something?" 

Leon: "What is it?" 

Autumn: "Does this make you my Senpai now?" 

Leon: "Now that you mention it I think you are right. Guess this does make us Senpai and Kouhai. Maybe I should call you Genius Kouhai in the future." 

Autumn: "..." 

Leon: "What?" 

Autumn: "Nothing wasn't expecting you to be so damn straightforward." 

Leon: "HaHa don't mind it too much if you want to you can call me senpai from now on." 

Autumn: "Senpai?" 

Leon: "Yup, Like that." 

Autumn: 'Kinda weird calling someone younger than me senpai but whatever I will just have to get used to it.' 

Mustard: "Alright seems like you are ready." 

Mustard said to which Autumn just nodded. 

Mustard: "Well usually these tests are always the same for everyone but you, I have another plan because you are not a trainer yet." 

Autumn: 'Okay now I am more interested in how this will go.' 

Mustard: "For your first trial you have to find 3 max mushrooms around the island." 

Autumn: "Max mushrooms." 

Autumn: 'I know about them I have read a book about them at Professor Magnolia's lab but aren't those super rare, this old man he isn't going to make this easy one me now is he?' 

Mustard: "You have time until dusk to find them." 

Autumn: *nods "Understood are there any other restrictions besides asking for someone's help." 

Mustard: "You can only rely on yourself and the skills that you possess that's all." 

Autumn: "Very well then I will start." 

Mustard: 'Hmm let's see what tricks you have up your sleev- wait what the?' 

Contrary to what Mustard thought Autumn didn't set off to search for the Max Mushroom what he did was simply opened his bag and took out different parts specifically the drone parts he then quickly started to assemble them with insane precision. 

Mustard: "Wait isn't that-" 

Autumn: "Cheating." 

Mustard: "Yes"

Autumn: "HaHa, you seem to have forgotten what you had set as the rules just now sensei. You said that I can not rely on others which I will be not and before you say that I am relying on machines. Engineering is one of my skills and these parts were made by me beforehand to make some drones to get good shots of the galar region. Furthermore, I haven't programmed them yet which I will be doing shortly after I assemble them. I am purely relying on my skills as an engineer right now so technically I have not cheated." 

Mustard couldn't refute to what Autumn had just said, he was right about him relying on his own skills and not taking help from others. He was making drones solely by himself so he didn't ask for anyone's help which means he didn't cheat. 

Mustard: *Haiz 'I am getting old that I forgot this minor detail, I forgot that gadgets exist which can make life much easier but will these drones be able to find the mushrooms before dusk? Furthermore, he still hasn't programmed them.' 

Autumn soon finished making seven drones and started to program them which took about 3 hrs. When Autumn was done it was already 3 PM, 5 hrs before Dusk. 

Mustard: "Hmm you used a lot of your time in making this will it be worth it?" 

Autumn: *smiles "Just wait, sit back and watch this." 

Autumn attached a bracelet of some sort to his hands before powering it on. It showed 7 screens on a hologram display. 

Autumn: "The Pleiades activate." 

[SYSTEM ACTIVATED] 

Autumn: "Disperse and search for the target and report every 5 minutes. Bring that thing if it's found." 

[UNDERSTOOD] 

Mustard: "Does that thing has an AI." 

Autumn: "Yup and an advanced one." 

The Pleiades soon took off and dispersed in search of the Max Mushroom. With that what Autumn had to do was just wait. 

Honey: "Can I ask you something little sugar?" 

Autumn: "Yes" 

Honey: "Do you think those Drones would be able to find the Mushrooms before Dusk?" 

Autumn: "I trust my creations." 

Honey: "So, you are just shooting an arrow in the dark." 

Autumn: "Yes and I can confirm it will hit the mark." 

Honey: "Are you sure about that?" 

Autumn: "Yes, after all, I wouldn't have relied on them if I had better options." 

After 4: 55 hrs... 

Mustard: "You only have 5 minutes left ate sure you believe that those Drones would be able to find those Mushrooms." 

Autumn: "Yes" 

Honey: "Why? Many people would have gone searching the mushrooms by themselves way earlier beforw. But now I think only a miracle can make you finish this trial." 

Autumn: "Because I have put my faith in those Drones." 

Autumn: "And since I have put my faith in those Drones for this challenge, I will continue to do so until it's over. After all, if you can not trust something then why would you even put faith in them? After all, miracles do happen even if they are rare occurrences. Look over there." 

Leon, Mustard and Honey looked in the direction Autumn was pointing towards and saw seven Drones coming towards them carrying three max mushrooms. They soon landed and with that Autumn finished the first trial. 

Autumn: " I believe I have finished the first trial since there are 3 more minutes before Dusk." 

Mustard: " Yes the second trial will be held tomorrow so take a good rest kid." 

Mustard: 'Even if he had brought a single max mushroom I would have let him pass. I just wanted him to know not to be so arrogant but it seems that this kid does have the skills to back it up. But I wonder what is the true extent of the skills you possess little one, let's see whether you can handle the next trial tomorrow.' 

Autumn: 'Why am I getting a bad feeling?'
