Chapter 31: An old friend

"Torchic"

In the imaginary space, both Torchic and Kubfu were constantly forming a ball of Aura and launching them at the wolves. Both Torchic and managed to learn the move Aura Sphere meanwhile Autumn was standing behind observing how Torchic and Kubfu were doing and taking notes on what must be improved. 

Autumn: 'Though the results are a bit unsatisfactory it's still a win because they now finally can fight against these wolves. I had to seal off this small area just so that these two can learn Aura Sphere but it was worth it.' 

From Autumn's perspective, the Aura Sphere that both Torchic and Kubfu were using was small in size and power but that was to be expected he knew that they could do better maybe it's because he hasn't really given them much training on how to best utilise a move but he will deal with those things later when they have time. 

Violet: "Amazing so that's an Aura Sphere." 

Autumn: "Yes it is a move where one's Aura is concentrated at a point and it is formed into a Sphere and that Sphere is blasted toward the opponent." 

Violet: "Yes, it looks quite powerful." 

Autumn: 'Not exactly, it's possible to counter that with an even more powerful force of Aura or you can just deflect it by your body but do note how powerful the blast of Aura is, otherwise you might get a serious injury although Violet you are not wrong it does pack a punch once one can utilise it to its potential.' 

Autumn: "Indeed it does packs a punch." 

Violet: "But was it a good idea to use this move to deal with the wolves?" 

Autumn: "Are you concerned about other scavengers being attracted to all this noise?" 

Violet: *nods 

Autumn: "No need to worry they probably haven't even noticed all this commotion so they won't come." 

Violet: "But-" 

Autumn: "You do know that this battle has been going on for a while but not a single scavenger had noticed it right." 

Violet: "That's- Yes, you are right they would have come to this place after being attracted to the noise maybe I am being a bit too cautious." 

Autumn: "It's not a bad thing to be cautious but for now no need to worry." 

Autumn: 'After all, I have sealed off this part of the imaginary space so nobody can enter this place unless they have a higher mastery over space element than me.' 

[Space manupulation]{Asc}

-> Concealed space: Able to conceal a part of space.

-> Subspace: Able to create a small space. 

The mastery over different elements works in a way such that it's possible to break the opponent's technique as long as you have a higher mastery over the element that the opponent is using but to be able to find people that have a high mastery like the Asc rank mastery over any element is as difficult as finding a needle in a haystack. Although some people had a higher affinity toward a particular element and they can reach a higher rank faster but those kinds of people are even few. 

Autumn: 'Alright looks like Torchic and Kubfu will soon finish taking care of these wolves. Okay it's about time I- "!" ' 

Autumn suddenly felt a disturbance as he was about to destroy the concealed space. It seems like someone was already on it. 

[Space manupulation]

Autumn: 'Hmm, looks like someone has found this concealed space and it seems like that individual is an Ex rank when it comes to Space manipulation. Although I am curious who it is I would like to avoid any form of direct combat for now.' 

Autumn: "Torchic, Kubfu, Violet we are leaving." 

Violet: "Eh" 

"Tor" 

"Bear" 

After Autumn said that they were leaving all three were confused but Autumn didn't have any time to explain and telephoned the three near him and as for the Dreamy Wolves. He snapped his fingers once and all Dreamy Wolves even the knocked-out ones started to pop like balloons and disappear into dust. The three who witnessed this were shocked but before they could process what just happened any further Autumn had teleported toward the direction where the core was. 

[Dimensional jump]: Able to create a crack or tear the fabric of space to traverse a certain distance depending upon the user. 

While travelling Violet had once mentioned the direction where the core was located so Autumn used his space technique to teleport toward the core region. After Autumn and others left there was no one to support the concealed space so it didn't take long for the other party to crack the space open. 

*Crack *Crack *Shatter 

The concealed space was like a fragile glass after there was no one to support the space. It shattered and the sight that was in front wouldn't have surprised any of the scavengers it would have surely surprised Torchic, Kubfu and Violet if they were to witness it. 

Before they were taken by Autumn they had seen Autumn killing all the wolves by just snapping his finger but the one who broke the concealed space was seeing something else. The wolves were all still okay but they were all laying on the ground asleep and completely unharmed. This was one of Autumn's doing, he knew that if such a huge pack of wolves were to disappear then the entire imaginary space will notice that something is wrong and be more alert so he decided to use one of his powerful abilities. 

"Psychic arts" {Ca}

-> Illusive vision: Casts a powerful illusion.

-> Amnesic Dreams: The target will have dreams which they will forget once they wake up.

Generally, imaginary beings such as the scavenger shouldn't have been affected by Autumn's illusion because they are a being of imagination and nothing but illusion in the real world but there was a reason why they were affected. It was because Autumn's psychic abilities were Causality rank which means it will affect anyone whom he uses his abilities and no one is an exception unless Autumn himself is the one who decides not to cast his Psychic powers on that individual. That was how powerful Autumn's psychic abilities were able to affect anyone no matter who they were.

While Autumn and others had teleported to another part of imaginary space the one who just broke the concealed Subspace was now looking at the sleeping wolves and was a little perplexed to just see some wolves sleeping after dealing with a powerful space technique.

The one who broke the concealed space looked like a person with a hunchback and had long messy hair and that figure was welding a wand of some sort that had an eye imprint on the top. Suddenly he felt something that shocked him.

??: "Aura"

??: "How come there is Aura here"

The imaginary space was a space built from the accumulation of spiritual dust and the collective consciousness of different beings of the universe. It was a space where no other form of energy such as Aura existed it was a space that was full of restrictions and mystery. This was something that Autumn had looked over or did he?

??: "How? Did someone enter this space without anyone knowing? If that's the case then that means that shock wave just now wasn't an illusion."

??: "Hmm but who could it be"

??: "If I remember correctly there should be that thing over here where-"

??2: "Merlin, Did you find anything?"

??: "Sir Urther"

Urther: "What is the matter" '!' "Aura furthermore a powerful one. "

Merlin: "Yes, I think the shock wave that we just felt was also the doing of this outsider."

Urther: "Hmm, If I remember correctly this place should have that thing."

Merlin: "Yes I know where it is."

Urther: "Well let's go and see what exactly happened here."

The two soon found a flower that was near the hilltop the flower had a black body with white petals accompanied by some golden veins on the black stem. This flower also radiated a golden glow which was beautiful to look at. But this flower wasn't an ordinary flower "The flower of Remembrance" or so it's called. A flower that can record events and play them at a later date as a holographic image with sound.

A/N: It's similar to the time flower.

Merlin tried to activate the hidden mechanism of the flower but soon widens his eyes.

Merlin: "This"

Urther: "What's wrong?"

Merlin: "The flower's ability it's not working maybe it was damaged by that shock wave."

Urther: "If it cannot play the recent event then try it might more troublesome to deal with these visitors."

Merlin: "Wait it seems this flower can show us a picture instead."

Urther: "Well it's better than nothing lets see what it is?"

The flower soon glowed with intense golden light and soon showed a picture of a Blue Sphere.

Merlin: "An Aura Sphere."

Urther: "Wait something is not right. This Aura Sphere has a red hue around it?"

Merlin: "Yes sir you are right but I have never heard of someone having a red Aura."

Urther: "True the colour of Aura is blue but there were said to be people who had different colours of Aura than the rest."

Merlin: "Yes there was a saying like that."

 Urther: *whisper "Similar to his."

Merlin: "Did you say something, sir?"

Urther: "Nothing, let's go to the core region. I think they must be here to take control over the imaginary space."

Merlin: "!"

Urther: "They immediately left as soon as they noticed you trying to destroy that concealed space and judging by their actions of immediately leaving they surely don't have any intentions to fight. They have a goal in mind and if we are talking about the imaginary space then the only valuable thing within the imaginary space all lies in the core region and I am pretty sure they haven't left yet because I can tell that these visitors haven't obtained what they came for."

Merlin: "I understand let's make haste."

Urther: 'I am sure that this Aura is not his because if that Aura Sphere was his then it would be completely red but that brilliant red colour. The same colour as the fallen leaves could it be truly you, sire.'

Urther: 'I still vividly remember that brilliant red colour that lit up the sky.'
