Chapter 5: Daily life of Autumn

The Pallet Town or the Town of beginnings seems to be having yet another peaceful morning. Both people and pokemon are slowly waking up from their sleep but it seems like a small individual was already up. 

"167, 168, 169...." 

Autumn now 5 years old was doing his daily training outside. 

Autumn: "200, hup. Phew phew" 

He just finished doing his daily 150 push-ups, 10 km run, 200 sit-ups, 50 pull-ups and 150 squats. A lot for a kid to be able to do but Autumn could because of one of the requests he asked Arceus for. A highly adaptable body, it's thanks to this that Autumn could do hard physical exercise without getting hurt. 

Autumn: "Guess it's time to take a shower." 

Autumn picked himself up and slowly made his way towards the shower. 

Autumn: 'Hmm the performance of this body is satisfactory but it will be harder to train because of how quickly this body adapts.' 

Although having a highly adaptable body can make you stronger a lot faster but over time it becomes harder to train and you need to spend a lot of time experimenting with different things with your body for you to be able to train your body. 

Autumn: "Guess I will just cool off for now and think about it in the future." 

After taking the shower Autumn then did his daily Aura cultivation to recover his body from the fatigue he accumulated while training and also to nurture his partner who was still in the egg. 

Autumn: 'Seems like you are about to hatch, well I can't wait to see you.' 

Autumn thought to himself and smiled and sensing Autumn's positive emotions. The egg also wiggled a bit to show that it was also happy. Autumn just smiled and checked his schedule for the day. He slowly made his way downstairs toward the kitchen and started to prepare breakfast. 

Lina: "Oh my, little Autumn you seem early as usual." 

Autumn's now mother Lina was now awake and had just gotten downstairs from her room. 

Autumn: "Good morning mom I have made you a cup of coffee over here." 

Autumn said as he handed a cup of coffee to his mother. Since the Oak Family had decided to take him as one of his own he also had decided to return the kindness. He was quite happy with having a family again. 

Lina: "Thank you sweetheart, but you should have let me prepare the breakfast." 

Lina said as she pouted. She knew her adopted son Autumn was quite the prodigy and was good at household chores but she felt like she wasn't doing enough as a mother. 

Autumn: "You don't need to worry mom. I quite enjoy cooking and also you were also the one who said that my cooking is superb." 

Lina looked away in embarrassment because what Autumn said was right. He had a superb talent for cooking and she always wondered how he learnt it. To which he replied he learnt it by observing her and looking up in the poke net. To which Lina was a bit spectacle but shrugged it off. 

Autumn: "Well breakfast will be ready in some minute. Any request you want for breakfast I will prepare it." 

Lina: "Oh you don't need to. I will go up and wake up Gary to be ready." 

Autumn: "That would be great. Please do." 

Then after that Autumn went into cooking again. 

Autumn: 'I should also prepare bento for me and Gary. Well time to get to work.' 

At 8:00 AM 

Autumn was now eating his breakfast before going to school. Yes, there were schools for young children and this is where they would go to learn about different things about being a pokemon trainer. 

"Good morning Big bro." 

A still drowsy voice called towards Autumn. 

Autumn: "Good morning Gary. You still seem asleep what's the matter." 

Gary: "Well I forgot to do my homework yesterday so I had to stay up late." 

Autumn: "Hmm just be careful next time. If you don't finish the important bits first it will come to bite you later." 

Gary: "I know I will more careful next time." 

Autumn: "Come have a seat and eat." 

Gary sat on his chair and start enjoying his breakfast before looking at Autumn. Autumn noticed Gary's gaze looked at him and asked if something was wrong. 

Gary: "Autumn nii, Can I ask you something?" 

Autumn: "Speak" 

Gary: "How do always get up so early and how are you able to do those exercises? It's quite amazing but also confusing at the same time how you can do all those." 

To Gary Autumn was something of a role model but he knew that he couldn't be like him which discourage him Autumn will always cheer him up later which kept Gary to keep having a positive mood. 

Autumn: "Well if I have to give you an answer it will be that I keep myself disciplined throughout my daily life. You see even I wouldn't be able to do those exercises if I had lazed around I have a timetable for everything. At time of doing work do work and at time of taking rest take rest." 

Autumn knows how important a person must limit themselves and how much they should control their habits not let their habits control them. 

Autumn: 'Well I didn't have any siblings in my previous life but now that I have two of them I will say it's not bad at all. And as an older brother, I must look after my younger brother.' 

Gary: "I see but this seems a lot of work and also a very tasking." 

Autumn: "Indeed if you want good results then you must also be willing to put in the same amount of effort into it." 

Gary didn't say anything and nodded with a satisfied expression before finishing up his breakfast. 

Gary: "Well thank you for the food ." 

Gary finished his breakfast and stood up from his seat with Autumn also finishing his. Autumn ate a huge portion of food compared to Gary because he does a lot of exercise. So, for him to get the energy he has to eat a lot more. 

Autumn: 'Gary is a good boy but the problem with him is his arrogant and cocky personality well I know whom he got it from.' 

Somewhere in the world... 

Blue: "Achoo who is talking behind my back." 

Red: "You coming." 

(A/N: He does talk but only briefly.) 

Blue: "Yeah just wait a bit." 

Back to Autumn... 

Gary helped Autumn clean up the dishes which Autumn was great full for.

Autumn: 'Truly it would have been great if we weren't so arrogant and cocky.' 

Gary was quite arrogant and cocky even as a child and that was something that may even lead him to his downfall. So, Autumn had to check on him from time to time, although he would let Gary be arrogant times he will make sure that he doesn't go overboard. 

Autumn: 'The qualities such as Arrogance and Confidence should only be held by those who are strong. Although Gary can be considered strong being born into a prestigious family. Still, he doesn't have the power which only belongs to him. So, until he gets that kind of power he should not wield those kinds of quality.' 

Autumn then headed to his room to change and go to school. 

In school... 

Teacher: "Today we are going to learn about a new topic. It will be on different items which can help increase your pokemon strength." 

Everyone else became focused because this was some good knowledge on different items they can give their pokemon to hold. 

Autumn: 'Hmm although I already have this knowledge, I at least have to write things down in my notebook so I wouldn't get scolded.' 

Bell rings and lunchtime starts... 

Autumn opened his bento to see his lunch for the day. It was just some plain rice with some side dishes. Autumn was quietly enjoying his meal until someone came towards him to which Autumn cringed a bit. 

Ash: "So, you are here Autumn bro. I was looking for you." 

It was Ash. He was a young boy with black hair and brown eyes he stood around the same height as Gary and would often come to visit them. 

Well, Ash could be annoying sometimes but he had a good heart so Autumn didn't mind his presence Autumn hoped that he wouldn't just appear in front of him while having a peaceful moment. 

Autumn: "What is it, Ash?" 

Ash: "Autumn nii, you have to help me. I am in big trouble." 

Autumn: *Sigh "What happened?" 

Autumn knew that Ash is a troublemaker and he would often cause trouble and most of the time Autumn will save him. 

Ash: "I accidentally hit a Spearow with a rock while I was playing and now it's after me." 

Autumn: 'Idiotic, Spearow's are very prideful and easily provoked species. Furthermore, why even were you throwing rocks, it could have hit someone.' 

Autumn sighs before seeing a Spearow coming in his direction. He already knows that it's the one that Ash hit. The Spearow had already closed the distance but was stopped by Autumn's voice. 

Autumn: "Little friend I am sorry for this guy's action here, how about I give you my lunch as compensation and you forgive him." 

Autumn said to which the Spearow was a little dumbfounded. He understand what this human was saying. 

"Row Row" 

Spearow called out, to which Autumn calmly replied. 

Autumn: "I know that you are angry but please can't you do me a small favour and let this matter slide. It's not that you have anything to lose here." 

Autumn said again, Spearow also took a moment to consider what Autumn had said and glared at Ash before looking at the bento that Autumn had put in front. He ultimately decided to let go of the matter and was satisfied with Autumn's Bento.

Ash: "Thank You Autumn nii you saved me." 

Autumn: "That was a close call don't do that again." 

Autumn reprimanded Ash to which Ash nodded. Then they go back to their classroom and for the rest of the day in school studying. 

After Scholl 

Three little figures with one being a head taller than two were returning home and there seem to be an argument between the two small ones. 

Gary: "Pfft you said what you want to be a pokemon master. You know how to dream don't you." 

Gary was making fun of Ash for his childish dream. To which Ash retorted back. 

Ash: "Oh I will just you wait, I will be the greatest pokemon trainer." 

Gary: "Oh please you who don't have any knowledge about pokemon levels, stats and nature being the pokemon master. It's laughable." 

Ash: "Grr that is not it, I will become one just you wait. I promise that I will defeat you." 

Gary: "Oh c'mon  you don't even don't know how to raise a pokemon and you talk big." 

Ash: "Autumn nii what do you think?" 

Gary: "Hey you can't just ask Autumn nii opinion on this matter. That's cheating." 

Autumn: "You two quiet down." 

Autumn said in an annoyed voice to which both of them quiet down. Whenever Autumn spoke in an annoyed tone they always listen to him because they didn't want to make Autumn angry. 

Autumn: "Gary it's not good to laugh at others' dreams." 

Gary became a little sad while Ash had a grin on his face. 

Autumn: "And Ash, although its good to have big dreams but to achieve that one must also be hardworking and responsible. You want to become the pokemon master but just as Gary had said you can't become one unless you have proper skills." 

Now Ash was having a sad face while Gary was smirking a bit. 

Autumn: "Furthermore what I have said just now about the two of you may not even be even the case. After all, what I said just now is my speculation for now who knows things might not be the same in future. I think it would be more appropriate for both of you to settle this feud when you get your trainer's licence and become pokemon trainers." 

Autumn said to which both Gary and Ash stayed silent but they had solemnly vowed to settle this in the future after they have become a proper trainer just as Autumn had said.

After returning home and bidding goodbyes. Autumn goes to his room and changes before heading to the lab. Autumn had been helping in the lab and had also become Professor Oak's assistant. 

Oak: "Oh Autumn my boy you have arrived." 

Autumn: "Yes Gramps, so what's the task for today." 

Oak: "Oh yeah you will be helping me doing the usual stuff." 

By that Oak means help check the condition of pokemon at the Ranch and check their status. Autumn immediately got to work and started to do his task at hand swiftly. 

For the rest of the day until evening around 6:00 Autumn finished with his job and bid goodbye to Oak before returning home and finishing his homework. He played a few games with Gary until dinner and go to bed after dinner. That's how his daily life went.
