With this occasion, Gorn took a day off to sort out his thoughts.
"Is this the end of my evolution?"
Sipping some coffee made him feel slightly better.
"There is the other side of the forest. But how do I get there? I need to somehow get stronger...I bet this phone has a few more secrets to it."
Taking some clean clothes Gorn exited the building, heading towards the park that was part of the complex. Arriving in front of a tree, he squatted down, then jumped.
After a few swift movements, he was on top of the tree. The view was beautiful, well balanced between nature and buildings. Doing a backflip from the top of the tree he landed on the ground without any problems.
"The tree is not that big, but still."
His body was full of power and energy.
"I wonder if I can get something from killing monsters in dungeons..."
Whatever the case, he got a feeling in his gut that the solutions lay inside the dungeons.
"I died countless times inside the game, however, I only have one chance in real life. Going alone is too dangerous."
What Bellona told him still lingered inside his head. The monsters from a level one dungeon could be up to ten times stronger than a normal human. That meant a limit of one hundred stat points. He was nowhere near that strong.
Feeling the cool wind blowing in his face Gorn found a bench and sat down.
'I guess I should join a guild.'
With his current stats and skills, Gorn could get accepted in any of the three biggest guilds. Taking his normal phone out Gorn sent Bellona a message. Unfortunately, there was no immediate reply. As far as he knew, and as far as the common knowledge went, there were three major guilds worldwide. Aqua guild, Fire guild, and Eagle guild. These guilds had small branches throughout the whole world, including Star City.
"Which one to choose?"
Taking into consideration his abilities, Eagle guild was the best option. Fire and water abilities were the most common, but like always there were exceptions to the rule. His magic bullet, as well as his increased physical ability, belonged to the unusual powers.
There was an equilibrium between the three powers, but everyone knew who was the best.
"Eagle guild it should be then."
The next step was rather simple, and that was to sign in for a test. Taking such a test was around five thousand dollars. As long as you passed, the money would be returned to you.
Whistling Gorn exited the complex, heading towards a bus station. For a second he wanted to just run towards his destination, however, that was too eye-catching.
The bus arrived after a couple of minutes. Getting in Gorn sat on an empty seat. Looking around he saw multiple people. All of them seemed ordinary.
'Not that long ago I was one of them, but now...'
It felt a little unreal.
'I need to take advantage of this opportunity!'
After ten minutes or so someone came in front of him.
"I'm a little tired, let me sit down!" The tone and expression were anything but nice.
Out of habit, Gorn offered his seat.
"Good lad!"
Avoiding confrontation was how he usually dealt with various situations before.
"Wait, what?!" said Gorn out loud.
Being out of his daze he analyzed the situation. The 'tired' person was a young adult, who didn't seem tired at all. Next to that individual was a cute girl.
"I see, so this worm wanted to sit there so he could flirt with that girl."
His voice was loud and clear, so all the people on the bus heard him.
"You...!"

The change in behavior was too big. Without waiting another second Gorn grabbed the punk by his head and threw him all the way to the other side of the bus along with the other people that got in the way.
Everything was too unexpected. The driver wanted to stop the bus.
"Drive if you don't want to die!" yelled Gorn while focusing a magic bullet on his finger.
"A hunter!"
People started to panic but had nowhere to run so they sat still. Jumping to his previous seat Gorn blinked at the girl next to him.
"What do you say beautiful, I'm better than that loser right?"
The girl was slightly trembling.
"Yes sir!"
"Sir? But I'm not that older than you."
Gorn laughed, his heart beating furiously.
'Fuck, I just snapped.'
The feeling of control over others was exciting at the least.
"Hey, what is your name?"
The girl struggled to remain calm.
"I'm Lora, sir!"
"Ok Lora, so if a hunter started to oppress normal citizens, what would happen in such a case?"
She seemed a little hesitant to respond.
"Well?"
"For these cases, there is a special department inside the police. Fight hunters with other hunters."
Gorn lifted his legs on the nearby safety bar.
"Correct, but, do you think I'm oppressing normal citizens right now?"
This time he looked into her eyes.
"No sir!"
"No what? say it louder!"
"No, you didn't oppress normal citizens!"
Gorn smiled and then glanced around.
"You heard this beautiful lass right? I memorized all your faces so if someone talks shit about me I will come to look for you, and I will find you!"
"Smart girl, I like you!" Patting Lora on the head Gorn exited the bus.
After he left, everyone breathed out in relief.
Slapping his forehead Gorn laughed: 'The fuck did I just do?'
The testing building was not that far away, as far as he knew from his previous research.
'Whatever, I don't plan to become a hero.'
