Michael was once a 'normal' boy who just so happened to be from an ancient lineage of Reaper Hunters, an occupation that in the past was more prestigious than nobility due to their ability to face the Reapers beings capable of surviving even without a body and manipulation of the soul meaning only those with unique weapons possessed by warriors of the past could face them. With having this ridiculous past you would expect Michael to be a valiant knight who wishes to live up to his family name, well your wrong Michael gives two shits about what's his bloodline but after inheriting a mysterious sword from his grandpa he now she is thrust into the Reaper hunting business.
