Chapter 3: Volume 1—Chapter 3—A new Transformation!

I left the window seal and flew to land on the arm of the Orc Chief, the orc with the female elf noticed me immediately. 

The orc stares at the winged beast, what is with that bat? It has a weird appearance, unlike any bat it has seen before.

The Orc Chief noticed that the orc was distracted and looked down to see what has gotten his attention. It was then he saw the bat that had landed on his arm.

He tried shaking it off to no avail. 

I was only able to latch on thanks to my bat talons, if not for that I'd have been flung off by now. It's no use you dumb orc, now become my evolution points!

I opened my mouth wide and bit as hard as I could, with skin as tough as rubber it was shocking that I didn't lose my teeth.

 

Evilyn: [Because the host sucked out the blood of a spider the host teeth were strengthened. The host will have no problem biting into the skin of an Orc Chief.]

 

I see, I'm glad to hear that. I began to use my Suction skill, I'm glad that this time I won't have to worry about poison.

 

Evilyn: [Suction Skill has reached Level 2! Because of this the host now can inhale 10 percent more blood than normal.]

Evilyn: [Host has learned the Skill Big Eater - L1: the skill helps the host eat much larger portions due to this skill. The host will become hungry easily, using the hunger meter, the host will eat until the meter is full.]

 

Hehe, I got a new skill right away, I'll make all your skills my own and then I'll eat you up to gain a new appearance. I'll do anything to become stronger!

 

The Orc Chief could do nothing but yell while shaking his arm, it was to the point that other orcs nearby came running in due to the loud commotion.

Since I didn't understand what they were saying, I just ignored everything and kept sucking. All the blood I consumed from the Orc Chief became easier to swallow bit by bit.

There was nothing the Orc Chief could do, I was able to devour the blood much quicker and the Orc Chief was finally still. 

I let go, unlike the spider he only went completely pale. It's a little disappointing that I could not gain more skills from the Orc's blood.

All that sucking made me incredibly hungry, must be the effects of Big Eater. The body of the Orc Chief was slumped on the throne and the other orcs could only watch in fear.

I started to eat, beginning with the arm of the orc. Despite it being raw meat I could not stop myself from eating and eating continuously.

 

Evilyn: [the skill Big Eater has reached Level 2: The host can now eat monsters or humans and gain skills!]

 

Ah! I'm now satisfied after hearing that. 

 

Evilyn: [The host has successfully consumed the Orc Chief, the host will not proceed with the evolution.]

Evilyn: [Molding and reforming the host. Warning, while the host is evolving a cacoon will encase the host, please sleep without disturbance, Host.]

 

What's this? I feel...so sleepy.

From the perspective of the orcs that were watching the evolution before their eyes, they could not do anything for they were frozen in fear.

I opened my eyes again, this time I was looking at an unfamiliar ceiling made of sticks and logs. 

I'm not sure how many days have passed, but I could feel there was something different about myself.

The sound of creaking alerted me to a nearby presence, "Mistress, you have awoken."

I sat up and turned my gaze to an orc that entered the room with a tray filled with food.

Did I just hear that right?

Evilyn, what's going on right now?

Evilyn: [The host has undergone a new transformation, because of the aura the host is emitting, all orcs now fear you.]

 

Do the orcs fear a lowly bat because of a simple transformation and a spike in my aura? What kind of transformation did I go through?

Not only that, I'm certain that I didn't understand those orcs before my evolution, is it another language skill?

 

Evilyn: [Confirmed. The host has gained new abilities, one of which is the language of the orcs.]

 

More abilities? Wait, forget that, I have to see what kind of transformation I underwent! "You! Orc, find me a mirror!"I ordered.

The orc looked shocked and sat the tray down next to me. It then ran out of the room immediately before returning moments later with a hand mirror.

It was great to finally be able to talk to another race.

I took the mirror and took a deep breath before raising it to look into it.

What greeted me was beyond what I imagined. Honestly, I thought I would look like an ugly orc, but I got lucky.

While I still sported the bat wings, I no longer looked like a bat, even the color of my world had changed.

I can now see the color around me, the grey life was gone.

I reached up to touch my face which took on a  slight orc appearance, but it was more beautiful than I had expected.

Not only that I grew hair the same color as the spider's, and my eyes were a light silver like the moon.

I still had my vampire's teeth, but I had the snout, the same as an orc, but not as ugly.

As for my body, I no longer had fur, in its place was a well-shaped, slim body. 

I never thought I'd get to see these babies again! I touched one breast with delight, to think I'd be happy to own a pair in my new life.

The skin was not rough, like an orc's but it did take on the orc's light pink skin tone, and the skin if I poke it, it's tough.

This transformation, I think I could get used to it!

After observing myself in the mirror, I turned my attention to the orc standing quietly near me, "Orc, what's your name?" I asked it.

The orc looked surprised by my question, I wonder why that was?

 

Evilyn: [Monsters do not have names, they gain names from others.]

 

Oh! that would explain why my status said I had no name!

Alright, forget about the name of the orc, I wave my hand to dismiss the question.

"Fine, but I'm curious. Instead of killing me, you provided me a place to sleep and even called me Mistress. Why?" I asked.

The orc falls to the ground with a low bow, "it's because the Mistress killed the Orc Chief! It is only right that the Mistress becomes the new Lord of the Orcs!"

Right, I forgot that things like that exist.

I'm not sure if I want to become the leader of such disgusting monsters that rape and kill just for their pleasure, but...

I studied the orc bowing down to the ground, hell why not?

I think taking on a much higher position like this is better than in my past life.

All I have to do is change some things around here, and permit killing only when it's necessary.

"Alright, lead me back to the throne. And call in the other orcs, some things will be a little different around here." I ordered the orc.

The first thing I want to do is free those elves since elves are picky creatures, and making them into my enemy will not benefit me at all.
