I landed on the ground once we reached the destination.

I noticed a few orcs and elves lying about, but there were no signs of the others or even humans.

I walked among the corpses of my fallen people and found an elf leaning on a nearby tree.

"This is horrible!" Bolivia cries while rushing over to the injured elf.

I stood close, trying my best not to let anger cloud my judgment.

"Mis...tress..." the elf spoke and reached her hand out in my direction.

Bolivia took the elf's hand, "Marianne, what happened?" Bolivia asked the elf.

Marianne coughs before speaking, "it...cough...was such a mess. It started with...cough, the orcs and...cough cough...the elves fighting over...cough...hierarchy. That's when...cough cough...the humans came." She says between coughs.

Bolivia pats Marianne's hand, "slow down, tell us what happened after the humans came."

"The humans spoke a few words then began to attack the orcs. We elves refused to let the humans kill the orcs. So, we elves decided to help. Despite our differences, we elves and orcs all worked for the Mistress," Marianne stops to take a breath.

"How did Oat get past the humans to come to warn us?" Bolivia asked.

"Because Oat is the only male elf among us female elves, we thought it best for him to be the one to go warn the Mistress of the human intruders." She answered.

"No need to talk anymore. Tell us in which direction the others went," I said.

Marianne points North, "please...save them...Mistress." She begs.

It's in the direction of the bat cave I came out of, the beginning of my birth as a lowly bat.

"We need to catch up before we lose any more people," Bolivia says after forcing Marianne's eyes shut.

"Is she...?" I couldn't finish the sentence, but the confirmation nod from Bolivia answered my unsaid question.

Those humans, even if I have to cut through this forest to slaughter every one of them, then I will!

"Mistress, I know you're feeling angry, but if the Mistress allows it, may I deal with the humans when we catch up?" Bolivia asked me.

I grit my teeth, but I knew the reason she asked, and it was because I was still weak. Even with the strength of an Orc Chief, I would be nothing but the perfect target for humans.

"Fine..." I finally agreed.

I had to sustain my anger until I could see their deaths with my own two eyes.

"Thank you, Mistress," Bolivia says with a spark in her gaze.

Well, I doubt those humans will get by Scott free; I think it may be best to leave it to her.

We followed the path Marianne directed us in. It didn't take us long to catch up to the others.

The sound of an ongoing battle made us pause.

"Mistress, stay back. I will handle this," Bolivia tells me.

Bolivia stepped forward just when we were about to lose another orc, "Barrier!" Bolivia calls out.

She managed to reflect the attack on the orc by surrounding it with a magic barrier.

She then casts another spell, "bringer of flames!"

Bolivia brought forth a bunch of flames using a magic circle.

I watched the humans scream in pain while burning to death, "Mistress! You came to save us!"

The elves and orcs surrounded us, "seriously, I'm here as well." Bolivia says with a pout.

"The other humans came into the forest and chased the rest of the elves deeper inside. Our Orc brothers were annihilated," an orc says.

We must catch up to the other humans. The least I could do was save the elves still fighting for their lives.

"Let's go," I told Bolivia.

Bolivia nods, "I hope we're not too late." She says with worry.

We flew more into the forest and spotted the small battle below.

"There they are, drop me!" Bolivia yells while pointing.

I let go and watched her land on the ground then take out a human without any problems.

"Careful, the elves have reinforcements!" A human yells while aiming his bow in my direction.

An elf nearby attacks the human who aimed at me, "Mistress!" She yelled and struggled with the human.

I can't sit back and watch! I swooped down to attack but was stopped by Bolivia who used magic to knock me back.

"You can't, Mistress! You're not strong enough to take on these humans!" She tells me.

Hearing the words hurt, but she wasn't wrong.

I clenched my fist, but I endured and watched Bolivia use her magic to kill all the humans before me.

It may not be the same as doing it myself, but I still get the satisfaction of watching their blood spill with my two eyes.

Bolivia lowered her hands that had been casting magic and stood over the last human left alive.

She turned to me and reached out a hand, "Mistress, this last human scum is for you to eat." She tells me.

I was shocked by her words, especially since she was an Elf.

"Don't look so surprised, Mistress. As my savior, I wouldn't dare to refuse even if it meant moving a whole mountain." She says while giving a thumbs up.

That;'s right, I no longer lived my life on Earth.

I want to become stronger and live differently than in my past, even if I had to become evil.

I've killed and eaten to my heart's content.

I have resolved myself to this life and come this far. I will hesitate no longer.
