As I watch Vesemir leave the basement level I start digging my way into the floor. Cause even though I trust him to keep his word it is better safe than sorry. The farther i dig down the safer i feel and then a feeling that I didn't even know was replaced with contentment.  It seems being a dungeon core above ground is bad for my mental health.

The stone i dig is then used to shore up the foundations of the castle and walls of the rooms I'm digging. As I'm doing that I'm also searching for ores in the earth so I can start making things to help me. And then I can start making leaps in my power.

TIMESKIP

2 MONTHS BEFORE WINTER

After 6 months of pushing my skill and power to the limit I can without combat. Though I made great steps forward it all started with the first days that I was here.

MONTH 1

During the start of my dungeon life I didn't really know where I was going or what I wanted to do. Spending most of this time just aimlessly carving floor after floor until I finally I thought I found my goal. Get Ciris blood so that I can explore other worlds on a floating dungeon island. How cool does that sound, though it seems easy idont think any one here will ciri give me her blood. Of course that's even if using just her blood to do that is possible.

So to start on my goal but more focused on materials that will help upgrade my abilities. One of those being a control rod. A magical device made to help control golems, magically controlled earth element that takes any form the user decides. Now the golems can be made from many things, the only requirements being that the material the golems are made of is of the earth element.

So taking a look at the runes from the castles library only for my dungeon mind to just consume the knowledge and start applying it to my previous blueprints. After making the control rod by adding the runes to a metal(raw iron ore) soaked in magic for a week strait. I finally finished it after another week started making stone golems. The easiest to make.

Pulling stone from the ground I start to shape into a humanoid. Then I started to shape it like a knight with armor. Then a samurai and many other old armor. Nothing really felt like it was right though. It was after another 30 minutes of changes designs with tweaks here and there that it hit me. Space marines from warhammer 40k. Changing it into the basic space marines armor I have a little geek out moment in my head.

Thinking of if I have abilities to create a bolter and chain sword, my mind goes to work. Witherspoon dungeon mind helping me towards my goal it points me to the alchemy lab. A room that deals with everything from chemical reactions to turning lead to gold. Using it allows me make gunpowder and eventually a magical gunpowder. Mix that with what the status screen calls the factories, allows me to mass produce bolsters and its ammo. Though the chain sword needs a engineering lab that makes complicated machines.

Designating the labs to some empty rooms I start looking into mass producing golems. Being given the information of a golem lab it gives me specks on what I can use to make them. Most being simple metals but one option states that I need a metallurgy lab. Deciding to just get it over with I get all the labs designated to rooms in the same lower floor.

Taking a second feel happy about being able to make a shit tons golem space marines. I then focuse on what labs I placed where and what they do.

  • Rune lab:this lab allows you to set one of your previous enchanted items so they can be produced in mass
  • Magical research lab:this lab is your your place of bulk magic research
  • Factories:though not a lab let's you mass produce any mundane items that need to be processed, items produced here can be fed to other labs to enhance them
  • Alchemy lab: from gunpowder to turning lead to gold many things can be done here
  • Potion lab:a lab made to create magical liquids, like magical coolant or liquid luck
  • Golem factories:mass produce golems of any form and material as well as how sophisticated their 'programming' is
  • Automated upgrades lab:slowly research a better option when selected(currently researching runic sequences)

There was a lot more but mostly unimportant, like magical clothing lab. Yeah I'll probably only be needing that if I'm asked for clothes or something. As I'm done thinking that my golem lab produces its first space marine. Having it go to the runes lab to pick up its bolter, still putting together the chain sword.

As the last few days of this month goes by with golems constantly being made and given bolsters with a lot of dakka, I finished the chainsword, to be given to the marines as well. With the numbers being produced I had to think of a place to put them all. Eventually leading to me start making a big ass warehouse under the ground. Then, putting them all in there with a bunch of deactivated teleport gates that are portals when turned on.

Each door leading to various choke points and defense positions. Though I thought of if someone used the room to get even farther in my dungeon. It was dismissed when I thought of the number of marines I'm making.

It was during the turning of my second month here that I had a thought. Won't the space marines need support. Well yes, yes they do. Let's show this world what a magical artillery piece can do. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Let the thunder roll!
