Satus stepped forward and called out to the cloaked figure."

Abdiel! This is the man responsible for the tumorous growth around our halls! He is the proxy of Ion, submit to him and you will be spared!"

 

The cloaked figure turned around and took off his hood, displaying a horribly deformed face to Leo and Satus.

 

He had three eyes and a twisted face, Leo could not help but imagine what the rest of his body would look like.

Needless to say, it sent a shiver down his spine.

"Satus, have you lost your damn mind? How dare you side with this rogue heretics! Do you really think this man carries Ion's will? You madman!"

 

Satus questioned Leo's choices for a while, was the power he wielded truly comparable with that of the grand karcist?

Leo snorted and stepped forward.

"Abdiel, was it? I am the mere proxy of Ion and I do carry his will, defy me and death will be your only option. Kneel before me and follow his true will."

 

Abdiel grew furious upon hearing Leo claim to be the grand one's proxy.

Ion was a grand and mysterious person, there was simply no way he chose a borderline unknown person to carry out his will, in Abdiel's eyes Leo was a rogue karcists hungry for power, so he abused Ion's name.

 

Leo saw that Abdiel steeled his resolve and sighed.

"It seems you have chosen death. If you do not choose to resist I will offer you a painless death. If you choose to resist I can't promise as much."

 

Satus started backing out before hearing Leo's voice ring out again.

"Satus, I order you to go help free the other sarkists."

"My lor-... Leo, will I not be attacked by the growth if I do so?"

"No, the growth itself has a recognition system, it has spotted you with me and therefore you are seen as my ally. Now hurry, in the meantime I will deal with this pest." said Leo.

 

 

 

Abdiel only grew more furious upon being called a pest, he had dedicated his entire life to the sarkic believes, after dedicating his body to the beliefs for eighty years straight he had been blessed by a sarkic figure, now this little shit came in and claimed to be the grand karcists proxy? he could not accept this heresy in his halls.

 

 

Leo was also in a minor predicament, after losing control of his body he lost his bag and gun, his only weapon at this point was the fact that he could shapeshift his body.

Abdiel finally had enough of Leo and made his move.

Abdiel dashed for Leo but felt that something was wrong, Leo didn't move an inch.

Abdiel pulled a sacrificial dagger out of his cloak and went for Leo's head.

"Foolish man." muttered Leo.

Leo sidestepped the blade and transformed his arm into a blade.

"Fuck!" thought Abdiel.

 

 

Leo was about to get a direct hit on Abdiels stomach, it was pretty much guaranteed to be a fatal blow.

A sadistic smile could be seen growing on Leo's face however, it quickly darkened.

Abdiels cloak started rupturing around the stomach area.

Right as Leo's attack was about to connect Abdiels stomach burst open.

His intestines started moving on their own, blocking Leo's attack.

The intestines slowly bent along with Leo's blow, softening the impact of it.

 

 

"Fucking hell, I am already in a weakened state and now I have to deal with this?" thought Leo.

Abdiel recovered from Leo's attack and backed up a bit before taunting Leo.

"You think you are the only one with sarkic powers? You are nothing but a confident fool. This hall will be your final resting place before being judged by the grand karcist himself!

 

 

"Then come and finish me." said Leo in a cold tone.

Abdiel didn't like using his blessing since he would have to recover for a while after using it, at this point he was able to maintain it for fifteen minutes before symptoms started to show.

It would start with hearing voices followed by pain, finally resulting in him entering a frenzied state.

 

Abdiel used his intestines to climb on the walls in the grand hall, increasing his mobility.

 

Leo looked at Abdiel with disgust before speaking his mind.

 

"You are one disgusting creature."
