After the bet between the two children of the same age was made, a servant, that looked to be about the same age as Asvin came to the group. He bowed to them, before saying, "Madam, lunch is ready! Lord John is waiting for your arrival to start!".

Rania smiled at the young servant, and replied, "Okay! Inform him that I will be bringing the children with me!". The young servant gave another bow, and left after saying, "Yes, madam!".

Asvin looked at his little sister. He wanted to say something, but was cut off by his mother, who gave him a serious look, indicating that he shouldn't say what he was going to say, before she smiled at the four children there.

"Okay! You heard him, right? Let's go eat lunch, hey, Terria, Sonia, and even Matthew! I will tell you now, you will eat your vegetable soup, and you will finish the entire bowl served, is that understood?", said the beautiful middle-aged woman, looking quite fierce herself.

Rosin smirked, as she looked at the three children beside her, 'Hah! Just try to say no, you will stay there the entire day if necessary! I learned that firsthand! Actually, why am I proud of that?'.

The three children all nodded, as Matthew thought to himself, while smiling at the same time, 'Hah! She's just like dad, that's why I always tried to eat when only mom was around, since she would let me get away with not eating everything! Well, I am hungry now, so I don't mind eating!'.

When he thought that, his eyes darkened for a moment. it had made him remember his time with his family, his family that had been killed yesterday. Still, he did his best to not let his emotions show, since that would only make the Manos sisters cry.

He thought that he needed to act brave for now, and hold that incredible sadness inside for a bit. At the very least until he reached the orphanage later this day. For now, he focused his mind on taking one final look at the beautiful scenery around him.

Before he started walking with the others, they were leaving the garden, filled with beautiful lion shaped grass, and the such. The Manos sisters were talking to Rosin, who was happy to hear them praise her, and encourage her. But, she still pouted a little when she heard them say, that they thought Matthew would win the bet she and him have just made.

Rania was with Asvin, at the front of the little group. She whispered to him the following, "You have to help me convince him, we can't do anything about Matthew, since he is too talented, but Rosin is different!".

"First off, she's his blood related daughter, second off, she only has a normal talent in magic! Her talent is equal to middle-class nobles, which is bad for her, but good for the moment!".

"And third off, The Green Mage himself said that she's destined to become a great Magician! He didn't lie either, since he said it to me, and your father in secret. He even implored your father to let her be trained by him, but still, you know how that ended!".

"Yet, with me, you, and your older sister Theresia, we have a chance to convince him, to let little Rosin become a Magician. I will even try to contact the Green Mage, and seek his help in trying to convince your father! Let's hope it works!".

"Unlike any other person in the family, Rosin really wants to become a Mage in the future. I don't want her to resent her father, or escape from home when she's older to learn magic, I want her to gain her father's constant! So let's hope it happens!".

"We'll move when I hear from the Green Mage!". With that, Rania had finished talking to her son, who was a little shocked by his mother. Asvin nodded, and didn't say anything. He was kind of bad at talking in a low voice.

The small group continued forward, and after a while, they entered the giant beautiful mansion again. Matthew was amazed by how well crafted this house was, again.

He had never been to a noble's house, and the most beautiful one he had visited was the one that belonged to the merchant who owned the big land inside Ronia village. Matthew was very astonished by this architecture, even though he didn't know if it was good or not.

That merchant's house was very big, and was so beautiful looking, that Matthew thought that was the way most noble houses would look. Yet, now that he was inside an actual noble's house, he couldn't help but laugh at himself.

'This is a hundred times, no, a thousand times better looking than that one! From what mister Asvin, oups... I meant to say, Vin, yeah! Anyway, from what Vin said, his family, the Cavias family, I think that was their name, is one of the strongest families in the kingdom!'.

'And, well... they do have the Fierce Lion, one of the 17 Pillars of our kingdom, so yeah, I guess they are very strong, which is why, wow! This place looks very beautiful!'.

After about two minutes or so, the small group reached a big room. This room was also well decorated, but was empty, aside from the long table put inside it. This table was so long, that more than 20 people could sit at it at the same time.

On the chair at the front, was sitting the family leader, John Cavias, the Fierce Lion. at his left side, was currently sitting, a young beautiful lady, with blonde hair. She was wearing a white dress.

This was, of course, the eldest daughter, Theresia Cavias. As for the rest of the other seats, there were four more others sitting in there. Three of them were middle-aged, two men, and one woman.

As for the fourth figure, it was an old man, that was probably in his mid-seventies already. Those were the other branch family leaders, they were all gathered here to discuss the incident of the Black Fire that happened yesterday. But also, because their leader, John Cavias, was planning to officially adopt two more daughters, and have them recognized as being Cavias, by the other leaders.

Whenever the small group of six made their way inside the room, Rania, bowed slightly to the four figures sitting at the table, before she made her way toward the right seat beside her husband.

She left Asvin to manage where the children would sit. The young man did just that. He motioned to the four to sit together in the lowest seats, a little further from where the four branch leaders were.

After which, he made his way to sit beside his mother, before he said, "Welcome, uncles, and aunt! I hope your journey here was good!". The other four replied one by one. They all said pretty much the same thing, which was, "Yes, thanks for asking!".

Matthew sat as well. Across him sat Rosin. Beside him sat Terria. And finally, Sonia sat beside Rosin. She had been happily speaking to her for a while now. A scene that made Terria a little jealous, since she was supposed to be Sonia's big sister. Yet instead, she felt like Rosin had just stolen her position.

With that, the Fierce Lion, John Cavias, smiled and said, "Let us begin lunch, may you enjoy the food, just as I plan to do!". With that, the group ate in silence. The four children spoke a little, but after a scary look by one of the two middle-aged men, they decided to be silent for now.

Lunch was a soup of combined vegetables, as mentioned by Rania before, and a piece of meat each. The meat was taken from a Clanson, a monster that was not poisonous to eat, like most other monsters were.

Its meat was soft and delicious, and since the monster was quite hard to hunt, its meat was very expensive. But, this was a noble's house, buying a few kilograms of it was nothing to them.

Also, this one specifically, was not bought. Instead, it was hunted by the Fierce Lion himself this morning. He was in the nearby forest with some guards patrolling the city like usual, and happened to run into this monster. He ended up making it lunch.

After everyone finished eating lunch, they moved to another room. this one was more stylish, and well decorated than the last one. It had a seat positioned higher than the other six, as you needed to take a few stairs to reach it, only about five steps or so.

This was the room, where family business was usually discussed. Two of the branch leaders weren't present today, since their territories were quite far from where Coupitia city was situated.

The Fierce Lion, John Cavias, sat in the chair which was the highest in position. After all, he was the leader of the family. As for the other four branch leaders, they each took their seats.

His wife, Rania, and his eldest daughter, as well as his only son, and the heir of the family, each took their own seats. They were stationed a little farther back from where the four branch leaders sat.

Matthew sat on a normal chair beside Rosin. As for the Manos sisters, they were instructed by Rania to come to the center of the room. They were about to be declared official daughters of the Cavias family! Both of them looked a little frightened, and on edge. They didn't even fully understand what was happening at the moment, still, since Matthew had reassured them that this was going to be good for them, they trusted in him, and did as instructed.

The Fierce Lion looked at the two little girls, and he said, his voice sharp this time, "Do you two, accept to become my daughters?". The two little girls nodded, and they both said at the same time, "Yes!".

They were a little sad. Their actual parents had just died yesterday, but, the both of them had promised each other not to cry in front of Matthew, so that they wouldn't make him remember last night events. Aside from that, they felt nervous facing all these people.

The Fierce Lion smiled, before he turned his head to look at the four present branch leaders, and asked, his voice cold when doing so. "You are all witness, does anyone object?". No one said a word. After this, The Fierce Lion went silent. He looked at his wife, Rania.

Rania nodded her head to him, and spoke now. She said the same thing her husband had just said, "Do you two, accept to become my daughters?". The two little girls, again, said, "Yes!". Rania, then asked the four branch leaders if they had any problems with that, but their answer was the same, complete silence.

The Fierce Lion spoke once more. This time, a warm smile covering his face. His wife said the same thing with a smile covering her expression, "Welcome to the Cavias family! Terria Cavias, and Sonia Cavias!".
