Everyone present, in front of the door leading into the main mansion of the Ankston family, stood still. There were about 20 people there, but all of them could only look on in awe of what they had just seen.

Until, one of the middle-aged men present there, started clapping his hands together. Soon, many followed in his tracks, and a loud clapping was heard. Matthew smiled, and gave a small bow for those present.

Marcela looked at him, and sighed a sigh of relief. Olivia couldn't help but look at the sky, she was still immersed in the fireworks that were disappearing by the second. The sight was very beautiful, and she couldn't see such an event much, since, only her father knew the spell.

And he barely used it at all, but now that, she found out that her older brother had learned the spell as well. She wasn't going to let him go without one firework per week at the very least.

The spell, Firework, wasn't a very hard spell, though it did need one to be very familiar with how the One Power worked. As well as gathering quite a large amount of it to perform such a spectacle.

His father had taught him this spell, so that he could use it to impress the people coming on his day. And, it seemed like the idea had worked, since, pretty much everyone was very impressed by the performance delivered by the spell.

Among all the people that had come today, there were only five Magicians, and that was including the cousin, Dunken. The strongest of them, wasn't Dunken's father, instead, it was an old man, that looked to be in his seventies. From what Matthew knew about the Star system (Which was very little) he would guess that, this old man was a Fourth Star.

As for his uncle, the father of Dunken, he seemed to be at around the same level of Micheal, the green haired Magician who teaches Matthew magic (At least, from what the magic teacher had told him).

Which seemed to be at around the beginning of the Second Star if he were to be compared to the Magicians of the Black Tower. This was told to him by his father, who claimed to be at around the peak of the Third Star.

That meant, that even Asvin was stronger than him. Matthew was very shocked to find out about all of that, he could only smile at himself, when he remembered how he had said that, he would no doubt become as strong as, or even stronger than, The Dark Crow.

A legendary being, that only few like the Emperor of the Sea, or the Mother of Spiders, could even rival. 'Hah! Still, I will try my best, and will no doubt reach that rank one day! It's only because I am young now, that I can't become very strong quickly, teacher said so. He said that, until I reach the age of 16 to around 19, I won't be able to advance in my training all that much!'.

'Still, I will continue training over these next years! Now, for how strong I will be when I enter the academy of magic in the city at 18? I don't know! But, maybe, just maybe, I will be at the peak of the First Star? Well, who knows, now, I am still at around the weaker 0th Stars, I have to reach the middle of this Star by the end of this year at the very least!'.

Matthew' uncle, was, of course, not very happy with what had just happened. His face turned slightly white. He knew that his son had no chance against this little monster when it came to magic. 'At first, I thought that he had great talent, but didn't know how to use it, at the very least Dunk stood a chance then. But now! The spell Fireworks is a very hard one for a young boy like him, and he still was able to do it, that means one of two things!'.

'Either, he is very good at magic, or he trained the entire month just to do that one spell! No, even then, he would need more time. This spell needs a very good grasp of how the One Power operates, it's almost impossible that he could learn this spell without being a pretty good Mage!'.

'Dammit! Dammit! Ah! Well, there is still a chance Dunk knows more about the history of our family than him, but still, that won't hold up well, after all, there is an abundance of time left for the boy to learn the history of the family! Just, dammit!'.

After all of that, the guest were brought inside the mansion, most of them were happy to speak to Matthew for a little, their eyes kept fixing around the boy, instead of on him. What they were looking at, wasn't him, but the One Power traveling around him.

Most of the people who had come here today, were the branch leaders of the family, they couldn't use the One Power, aside from a select few, but all of them could see it, that was the very least asked of every living noble.

And so, all of them could see the terrifying amount of the One Power traveling around the young boy of nine years old. The guests were being welcomed by Nero, and Marcela Ankston. After a bit of time, the turn of the most important guests today had come, it was the uncle, and his son (Who was challenging Matthew for the title of leader).

Dunken's mother was away at the moment, since her sister was sick. She couldn't attend today. The uncle smiled at his brother, and said, his tone very sharp, "Nero, you seem to have gotten a little stronger than the last time I saw you, but, I am afraid, at this rate, I will catch up to you in no time, won't I, now?".

Nero smiled back at his brother, as he said, "Well, that's good for our family, you're finally taking your training seriously it seems, it would have helped a lot if you did it ten years earlier though!".

The uncle's expression turned sour at the mention of that year, and he kept his silence, until his eyes fell on his nephew. "Hmm! A bastard has become the heir to our family, this is pretty funny, don't you think so too? What was it again, bastard? Umm, Matthvew? Well, does it really matter, I think bastard suits you more, what do you say about that?".

Matthew curled up his lips into a devilish smile, as he said, "Oh! So I will be known as the bastard who could beat up Dunken in two seconds? Cool! Cousin's reputation will suffer a bit though, don't you think so, uncle?".

Dunken looked angry as he said, "You insolent...". But, before he could finish what he was saying, he saw a fireball one meter away from him, his heart raced, and he kept his mouth shut, as he looked at his father in confusion and fear.

The uncle looked at the young boy who had cast the spell so quickly, that even he was surprised. "What is the meaning of this?", he shouted as he looked at Nero, but his brother kept silent, and only watched. He waited for what his son would say next. And sure enough, he didn't have to wait for long, before he heard Matthew say the following.

"Well, I will allow you to insult me uncle, but not this weak guy here, who can't even do anything once confronted with an easy spell such as this! He should be ashamed of himself, and anyways, he should learn to speak with respect to his future leader! I won't be allowing him to say the stuff you're being allowed to say at the moment, uncle!".

"Of that, you can be sure!". The uncle couldn't take it anymore, but still, when he remembered that this was a child, and that his brother Nero, was still way stronger than him, he stopped himself, and said, "Well, I won't stay to listen to these insults anymore!".

With that, he took his son, and entered the mansion. Nero looked at his son, as he smiled and said, "Hah! It seems you have a sharp tongue as well, han? That was good, just as I instructed you, instill fear into your cousin, I can't control my brother, and as such, he runs his mouth to me often!".

"If we are to make the Ankston family great again, we can't have such a thing happening, all your follower should speak to you with respect! Whenever the fight between you two starts later, try to end it as quickly as possible! Show him that he's no opponent to you, but a mere bug you can squash anytime you want!".

Matthew nodded, and heard his mother chuckling a bit, as she said, "Hahaha! Good, very good, it seems like I was afraid for nothing, you should know, that I am very proud of you now! Aren't you as well, Olly?".

Olivia nodded her head heavily. Yet, it could be seen that her mind was on in another place at the moment. She opened her mouth, and said, "Yes! But, the fireworks, can you do it again? Please, just one time, just once?!!". Olivia used her puppy eyes on him, and their power was so strong, that Matthew couldn't resist anymore.

He looked at his father, who gave a helpless smile, silently saying yes. And, in the next second, he gathered a large quantity of the One Power around him. Once again, a small explosion of color appeared in the sky.

And, just like that, he spell, Fireworks, was performed again. Some guests looked through the window, and sighed in awe at the imagery, the same was true for Olivia, who found that she couldn't breathe in those moments, due to how beautiful the scene was.

Even Marcela was surprised to see the scene again. The first time, she didn't get a good look at it, but this time, she could only say one word in response to what she was seeing, and that was, "Wow!".
