Standing up from his bracing position Aron cracked a smile. He was even stronger than before. Not only was his skin proven impenetrable at least to the beast attacks, but he had some sort of shadow abilities as well things really are looking up for him now.
A few seconds later the fire beam fizzles out the shadow wall unchathed from it. Deciding to try something out I try to see if I can summon shadow walls at will. It doesn't take me long to figure it out as I just try replicating the feeling from the first time I did it. Though sadly it took a bit more strain than the first time I did it on instinct.
All of this only took a few seconds which was conveniently enough time for the bone covered wolves to reach me from across the now clearing we where in. It seems the one that shot the fire beam is staying back as the other rushes at me, almost as of to buy the other one time.
Swinging at the wolf it ducks under my fist before biting down on my wrist and rapidly swinging it's head tossing me into another set of trees. I should have known that my fist wasn't exactly the best option as I'm not fast enough to guarantee a hit still, although I feel like I'm closer to landing more hits every time I swing my fist. Pushing a tree branch off of me I stand back up before narrowly sidestepping a tackle from the very fast wolf.
I feel like if my skin wasn't so tough I would be long dead so I am grateful for the unnatural durability I've gained. Attempting to catch the wolf off guard I summoned a shadow wall under it shooting up. While this does knock it into the air it didn't do much damage, if only I could change th- wait I have an idea. Un - summoning the previous shadow wall I summon another one this time, and just as the pursuing wolf pounces at me I summoned another shadow construct though following my intent instead of a wall it shoots a spike from the ground though this only slashes the wolf's side as it twisted midair as if sensing it coming.
Damnit why are these things so damn persistent on surviving my attacks (A/N : They could ask you the same thing.). I don't have much time to think as I notice a bright orange glow behind me. "The other wolf!" I say as I try to summon a wall. "Aaaghh!" I shout as the fire burns the upper half of my body. Due to my low experience with my shadow ability I couldn't conjure the wall fast enough as it only reached my hips before the flames reached me.
This time after the flames stop I'm standing there my body twitching in pain as I sit there shaking. Smoke was rising off my body as patches of my skin was burned off and some cauterized patches were also seen on my chest.'I almost fucking died just now!' I think in disbelief as I feel a tinge of fear for the first time after learning of my durability. ' Damn I was being reckless ever since I learned the couldn't cut me with their teeth, claws, or even brut force. This would mean that beam of fire is on another level of power than the user of the ability. That would explain why my shadow walls were unharmed even though the beam can hurt me.
Using my shadow ability I send a wave of shadow spikes at the wolves as they both jump to the sides of it. Testing a theory I try to make a weapon out of my shadows and it works. Forming a two handed long sword I grab the handle before swinging at the wolf closest to me. I manage to cut off one of its paws as if didn't dodge as fast as usual. ' So their running out of stamina at last' I think to myself as I turn my long sword into a one handed short sword as I push off the ground towards the injured wolf. The uninjured wolf slaps me away just before I stab the recovering wolf sending me sliding back. It would seem firing two of those beams tired that one out as well as it lacks the same physical strength it had before. Recovering from the slap I rase my right hand creating another wave of spikes at the uninjured wolf catching it off guard causing it to react late resulting in it being impaled in multiple places on it's underbelly. As I pass by it towards the wolf with the missing paw I slash the impaled wolf's neck.
Reaching the now recovered wolf I simply stab it through the neck as it's currently to weak to hurt me at this point. Breathing a sight of relief I plop down on the ground my shadow constructs fizzling out of existence. That would have ended during the start of the fight without my durability and shadow manipulation powers, but it's no use worrying about what ifs right now I'm obviously not on earth as creatures like that would have wiped us out with abilities like that fire beam. I mean everything 100 meter in front of the wolf was vaporized! The worst thing about it was there could be even stronger things out there, and it was this thought that scared me.
I've decided I'll train my powers to protect myself from harm! Just as I made that declaration a sharp pain shot through my body as the burns I got from the wolf started stinging, but as I stared at the wounds I saw the burnt flesh and carterization on some wounds start to steam as within a few seconds the wounds disappear as if they where never there.
I also feel a bit stronger than before as I see my muscles grow more defined. With this regeneration I seem to have I come to realize something, I could use this to gain strength through exercise much faster and without having to wait for my muscles to recover every few sessions.
Deciding to use this to my advantage I decide to collect those wolf carcasses and eat those for dinner as I do feel a bit more hungry.
(Time-skip 2 week)
After 2 weeks of training I decide to see how much stronger I've gotten since then as I would hat to not have made much progress.

I realized that while usually eating a lot and exercising would cause muscle gain over time but my body seems to compress it down without adding any weight yet I keep all the strength I gained.
This would also be the reason why I don't gain weight from eating so many animals I find in the forest though the constant exercise could have contributed by nonstop burning my calories making me even hungrier.
After finishing up my thoughts I set out to find a clearing to test my newfound strength in.
(Time-skip 2 hours)
Upon reaching the clearing I find ample space to test myself as I walk over to a few boulders. The first boulders seems to be made of granite which I believe is 175 pounds per cubic foot. This boulder was 6 cubic feet total yet I could lift it as if it was weightless(It weighs about 1,050lbs) . The next boulder was 10 times the size of the previous one yet to me it felt as if I was mearly holding a gallon of milk (about 10,500lbs). Finally he went to a boulder 8 time the second one and I could only hold this one for a few seconds before dropping it not even getting it that far off the ground ( around 84,000lbs). Okay I think I'm free at stronger than anyone in earth was by far, I could lift around 42 tons now and thats only a week of near nonstop training to insane levels.
Continuing my test I didn't have many ways to test my durability though I could guess it also much stronger than before. So skipping that I walk towards a cliff side ready to test my striking strength. Pulling back my fist I clench it as tight as I can and punch putting my body into the punch, and as my fist connects with the cliff face a loud bang is heard as crater 30 feet in diameter forms with the crater carving 35 feet deep into the cliff.
Wow this is an insane growth in strength. Welp now that I have my striking strength I'll test my speed next.
Making a line on the ground I walk about 100 meters away from it. Counting in my head I cross the line in 4.5 seconds meaning I move at 80km/h. That's pretty fast considering I was a normal person not to long ago.
Ending my test their as I was mentally drained training without any breaks besides finding food and eating I decide to sleep which I've realized I didn't do the whole week.
