At the entrance of the hospital, Becca had just arrived with some bags in her hands. She had just come back from an out of town trip again when she heard about Samantha.

Naturally, she had to visit her. However, she came straight from the airport and just stopped over to get some food on the way. So when she got to the hospital – she had the luggage and take-out meal in her right hand plus a shoulder bag, a bag of fruits hooked on her left arm and take-out coffee in the left hand. Her hands were obviously busy.

But she did not have any complaints at all despite how she might have looked at that moment with everything that she is carrying. All she thought was that she had to see Samantha and make sure that her friend was okay.

"Hi, I'm here to see Samantha Kim-Cho. Can you tell me her room number?" she asked the staff from the information booth.

"She's staying in a VIP room, I need to see your ID first," the staff replied.

"Oh… okay… um…" she looked at her left and right as she did not know how to get her ID which was in the pocket of her jeans. She was about to start putting her things on the booth's desk when she heard a familiar voice.

"Ms. Wise, let me help you."

She turned around and saw Liam in a black suit. He had also just arrived at the hospital the same time that Becca did but he just followed her quietly from behind. He noticed that she was carrying a lot of things and thought that she looked funny.

"Oh, hey… you're here," she responded.

Liam walked closer to her and placed his cup of joe on the desk, "Where's your ID? Let me help you," he said with a very charming smile. It was as if it sparkled that Becca was drawn to his pearly whites, she had to shake her head to come back to earth.

"Ah… yeah, it's in the front pocket of my jeans. I have to get it, thanks," she extended her hands out and handed the coffee and plastic bags to Liam.

However, the tall man with an alluring smile did what she did not expect that made her gulp like never before.

A smirk appeared on his face and one would totally say that he definitely had the charms of a Cho. "Okay," walking from behind her, he snaked his hands under her arms and they rested on her waist. "Which pocket?" he breathed from behind and she felt his breathing on the back of her head.

For the life of her, Becca could not find the guts to kick him away.

And for some reason, she did not dislike that Liam had invaded her personal space and all that she could do was mutter, "Right." And she cursed herself for answering almost instantly after he asked. 'WTF Becca? Are you stupid? Did you really want him to-'

She did not have the chance to finish her thoughts when his hand had already found the opening of her front pocket and swiftly fished out the cardholder. The instant that she felt his hand, her breathing hitched and Liam clenched his jaw to keep himself from smiling like silly when she allowed him to do what he just did.

He did not overstay his welcome in her private space and quickly stepped back, waving the cardholder with his right hand. "May I?"

She nodded and avoided his stare. 'What just happened?' she felt like all her blood crept up on her cheeks and stayed there to have a meeting, her blush did not go unnoticed by Liam.

Handing her ID to the staff, he couldn't resist the urge to tease her, "Your ears are red. Are you feeling hot?"

"What?! No! You're hot!" her eyes widened, realizing what she had just said, "Wait! I didn't mean it like that!" she tried to correct herself but it was too late, Liam had already chuckled at her flustered state.

"It's okay, Ms. Wise. I already know that." He winked at her before retrieving her ID from the staff and placing it back in the cardholder.

"Oh shut up," she retorted and rolled her eyes.

The staff was telling her the room number when Liam picked up his coffee from the desk. Taking the luggage and some bags from her, he turned around and headed to the elevators, "Let's go."

Becca hurriedly went after him, "Wait, don't you need to show your ID too?"

"I don't need to do that, Ms. Wise."

Realizing that the Cho Family is probably known in the hospital, her brows furrowed, "So earlier, you could have vouched for me, right?! My ID was not needed if you told them that you knew me, right?!" she exclaimed as they entered the elevator.

A very light smile formed on his face, "I did not think about that, it slipped my mind."

Becca bit her lip and scoffed, "Huh! I can't believe you… you… you…"

"Me what?" he raised a brow, he was clearly amused by her behavior.

Seeing the smirk on his face, Becca was so annoyed. She swore that she wanted to wipe it off with a slap, "You stupid face!" she fumed. It was so lame but it was all that she could think of at that heated moment.

Liam Cho chuckled some more, "What are you? Five? Stupid face? Really?"

The elevator brought them to their floor and as they stepped out, Becca walked ahead of him with an irritated expression. 'Why do I have to meet him this early? And right after coming back home? Such bad luck!'

Liam followed casually but stopped after several steps, "Ms. Wise…" he called when he saw her walking continuously.

"What?!" she snapped as she turned around to face him.

With a stupid grin on his face, he tilted his head towards the direction of Samantha's VIP room on his left. "Room's over here," he said.

Breathing out heavily in a huff, she masked her embarrassment with a more annoyed expression, "I know that." She walked hastily towards where he pointed without giving him a glance.

"Of course you do," he remarked and it just made her even more annoyed.

"Would it kill you to stop being such a smart ass?"

Liam shrugged and replied, "Not really, no… but where's the fun in that?" He opened the door for her and both of them went inside.

"Sam!" she called her friend and immediately went to her bed as if she was in a hurry to get away from Liam.

"Hey, you arrived. Sorry, I couldn't pick you up at the airport," Samantha apologized when Becca gave her a hug.

"What are you saying? That's nothing to be sorry about. Here… I brought you food," she said and realized some of her things are still with Liam.

"Hey sis," he greeted Samantha.

"Hi… you two came together?"

"Nah, I just ran into her downstairs," he said as he handed Becca her stuff, in which she received them and ignored him.

Samantha looked at the two and found their actions and behavior quite weird. It was like her radar was being poked by the cupid and her instincts kicked in.

But she did not say anything and continued to observe her friends.. If there is a need, she would be happy to set them up together.
