In a modern world where a quarter of mankind has been granted abilities beyond human limits, there is bound to be chaos that will takes lives no matter what. To maintain order and peace, a new organization was formed-DAWN. Youths with abilities are recruited and placed in special institutions to help control their powers and to assimilate into society properly.

Ryang Iseul should have been long taken in by the organization, be raised to grow up as a normal person living a mundane life.

"You're still wishing for that kind of boring npc life? Give it up Iseul." An insidious yet melodious voice would reply despite her quiet musings, and Iseul is once again forced with the bitterness that is her reality. "You're far too special to live like all those insects."

There would be other voices who will continue to discourage or trample upon any hopes of her ever achieving a normal life. All of them equally insane and obsessive, determined to put her in a life of confinement for their own selfish desires.

"As if I'd let you get away from me, you're forever bound to me for as long as you live~"

"You poor poor thing, it's best to stop thinking of silly things and just stay crippled like that forever. I will always be by your side to take care of your pitiful self."

"You leave this room and your ankles won't be the only permanently damaged parts of your body anymore. This is a promise Iseul. Don't test me."

Yes, the path of righteousness or even the mundane will never be granted to Iseul but inside she still hoped for the impossible.
