Single Mindedness

Goals and aims are needed by men for having a purpose and to give life its meaning. Our bored protagonist who is without aim, living a comfortable life of a wealthy merchant's son, starts contemplating about meaning in life. His father teaches and advises him about how money is power and power is everything. And he believes him , until he realizes that his father is wrong. It's not his father who is really powerful but it's money. It's not his father who is powerful but it's the people who make him to be, since at the end of the day his father is nothing more than a normal human who relies on money and sophistry to gain his wealth and thus fake status in the society's eyes. Anyone who has money will be powerful, which at the end can be stolen, thus that power not being a real one. Thus in his pursuit of real power which can't be stolen and a real purpose of life, he leaves his home, to go in an adventure and find the power he dreams of getting and the purpose in life he wants.
