The Witch Queen’s Gospel

The country of Haven is a safe place, that’s what the Church of the High Goddess says, yet many know the falsehood in those words. A dark force known as the ‘Malice’ corrupts the land, the world that once was is now a wasteland of stone and ash. Life prospers in the center of Haven alone, but those left living in the wastes know that if hunger doesn’t kill them, the monsters of the Malice will. Witch magic alone can fight the monsters, yet witches are hunted and persecuted by the church. The Malice was created by the witches after all, or so the church teaches.
A train robber, a highborn, a prostitute, and a nun. Four witches who would have never met, had it not been for a rumor, the church fears a mysterious weapon found in the wastes. Can this rumored weapon bring Haven its salvation, or will it be their damnation?
