Inside of the vast throne room there were a number of different beings. A skeleton with robes and a staff is seen sitting on a throne while looking regal.

There is a woman standing next to him who has silvery long hair and curves that would make other women envious of her body. The fact that she is donning a black Shihakusho contributes even further to the overall look. She is also very tall, reaching heights greater than the skeleton that is sitting next to her.

During the course of the game, she and the momonga belonged to the same guild together. After some time had passed, the vast majority of the group's members resigned, leaving only them.

Her in-game name is 'Shinigami,' but the people who were closest to her always referred to her by her true name, which is Ikeragi Atsune. She came up with that embarrassing nickname back when she was still a student at the university.

Momonga made the decision to investigate the situation while still performing a little bit in order to keep the NPCs calm while she was in a state of shock. In light of this odd circumstance, he sent the pleiades, which consisted of a select group of maids, to the eighth level to defend the building in the event of an assault.

He then began to think about the possibilities and reasons for his current situation.

“Albedo, come here.”

Momonga ordered the succubus.

“Of course my lord.”

The lone non-player character that was still present in the throne room calmly responded to Momonga's question and then made her way to him.

After that, he reached for her hand in an attempt to determine whether or not the action was forcibly stopped. As soon as the succubus heard this, she bolted out of the royal room, her excitement level far higher than before when she had been speaking to Momonga.

“Judging by her reaction it appears that her settings that you and Tabula set up for her have become the truth.”

Atsune gave a gentle grin as she thought back to the joyful times from many years ago. When she and another player named Tabula Smaragdina were known as two geeks who enjoyed writing complete books of backstories for NPCs. During that time, they gained a lot of reputation.

In spite of this, after a few seconds, she opened her eyes really wide owing to the shock of her sudden notion.

‘If what we have written is true then....’

Her friend, seeing that something was wrong, worriedly began to ask.

“What’s wrong?”

“Momo settings have become real right?”

Not knowing what he was getting at, he just nodded, listening further.

“The fact that we have been transported to another world can be interpreted as 'the end of the world as we know it', right?”

Again he nodded.

“So, 'After using his great power, he will forsake all of it and fall into a deep slumber until the world we know comes to an end.'”

At this, his eyes started glowing more brightly possibly signifying his shock.

“You don’t mean!?”

She smiled maniacally and said.

“Not only does he exist, it is possible that he is now awake.”

Who exactly does she have in mind here? Naturally, the masterpiece of her career. The legendary blade described as having the shape of a tsurugi. The tsurugi is a longer and less curved sword than the katana, and it has two cutting edges.

The most essential aspect, though, is that she incorporated the entire history of the being enchanted in this sword into the backstory. It was so intricate that she had to write to the developers to request that the text length limit be increased. She was able to do so mostly because of her position in the community and the money she offered in exchange for it.

She immediately ran towards her chamber to investigate the situation.

As she continued to run, she began to wonder if it was worth to write into the backstory that when he awoke, he would be helpless and would require soul feeding to regain his previous strength, and that he would forget all about his origins. She began to wonder this as she continued to run. On the other hand, after considering his history, she came to the conclusion that it would be better this way. She wouldn't want her first interaction with him to be with the dejected spirit in her sword, would she?

“If he is indeed awake then I look forward to Albedo's reaction to this news. Hahaha.”

She said while giggling a little.
