Chapter 7: (S1) Ch6: Unknown wanderer

World: Earth

5:09 am, the sun just risen behind the clouds a while ago, and in a market, a woman in about her 30's was opening her stall that mainly sells fish. She's the missing Josh's mother. Of course, she needs to earn a living. 

However, she stopped and stared at one place all of a sudden, as if she was frozen. She didn't move, just there, not even blinking. The people nearby, felt something's wrong as they all felt goosebumps, making them avert their gazes to the direction where the woman is. 

"...I need to search, and see..." The woman said those words with a deep voice, it was like she's possessed by an evil spirit. Then suddenly, in a single second, countless crimson eyes appeared all over her body, similar to the Argos, or simply like a pineapple. Seeing that, everyone creeped out.

Exactly 6:00 am, a man who can be easily mistaken as a cosplayer enters a cellphone store. He has brown short hair, grey eyes, wearing a grey jacket, pants, bandages that covers his mouth, red scarf, and a halloween themed hat that has a mini skeleton attached on it.

"Welcome." The girl who was guarding the store greeted. She can't help but look at him for a long time with admiration, he's outfit is something that really stands out afterall.

The man searches around for a phone, and sets his eyes on a displayed Space S21 FE 5G. As he was trying it out, the saleslady walks closer to him and asks. "Sir, you're a cosplayer right?"

He glanced at her, then looks away before replying that took him ten seconds to do so. "That's right, I am one, and will always be a mere impersonator of a fictional character I will never be."

Hearing that, the saleslady thought that he was just into his character for him to speak like that, so she asks another question. "Oh, then who are you cosplaying?"

Then again, it took him another ten seconds to answer. "The name is Grave."

"...Grave...I don't know who's that."

Even though he didn't reply, the saleslady still stayed there since her job is to treat her costumer if they need assistance. But then, ten seconds passed. "That's a normal reaction, I am already used to being unpopular. All my good deeds will never get recognized."

The saleslady kept her professional smile, he seems to be really into his cosplay. But she has to admit, his acting is quite good.

After buying his new phone, he sat down on a nearby bench in the mall's open space. He didn't mind the stares he gets, because no matter how much attention he gains, is also how many times they're going to forget him. 

He takes out his other old phone and clicks a recent notification, of course he waited ten seconds. It was message from someone who have a cat girl profile picture. 

Nyan Goddess: Hey Grave, its urgent nya! I just found something interesting, believe me or not but it's legit and it'll definitely be on the news later, nya!

"I wish she stops with the nya someday." Grave muttered.

The Nyan Goddess's next message was a link. Grave stared at his phone for ten seconds again and clicks the link. It leads to a short clip that's looks like it came from a horror movie, about a giant naked woman with eyes all over her body causing havoc on a market, censored. 

'Now what is she up to?' Grave thought, but he somehow finished the whole thing because it exactly ended with ten seconds. 

Suddenly, he sees a yellow cat from the front rushing towards him. It then bites his pants, trying to pull him with all force. Seeing that, Grave immediately understood what this cat's intention is. "...stop bothering me."
