"See how protective Yuu is toward Sayuri, no?"

Under the pleasant weather, with partial sunlight helping to remain warm in the month of November, the group of three walked steadily uphill as they chatted about mostly one thing.

After Yuuta scolded coldly, all the others became stiff in fret and didn't dare to banter any longer. Embarrassed to be reprimanded by a teenager, Toshio, Mirai and Hajime chatted a little dimmer this time after the short break.

While it hurt his ego, Hajime didn't rebuke him since what Yuuta said was true. He indeed worries a lot sometimes.

Hearing Mirai's words, his gaze fell on his daughter's back, who was currently being carried by Yuuta.

Yuuta had his hand carefully placed underneath Sayuri's knee pits as he held her tightly on his back with no room for her to fall. Some moments ago, Yuuta halted in his steps and gave Sayuri another jacket which she draped over herself.

She seemed to be reluctant at first, but it appeared that she also got a stern scolding from Yuuta before she agreed.

Seeing his daughter being protected by someone other than him. Someone caring for her. Being protective of his princess made Hajime feel a little emotional but what he felt the most was relief.

"You have raised a very good child, Toshio, Mirai. I am extremely happy my daughter is engaged to such a fine young man."

Hearing Hajime's heartfelt words, the married couple smiled while glancing at each other before their gaze also fell on their front.

"And we are lucky to have Sayuri-chan, Hajime."

The glint in their eyes, which expressed nothing but pure elation, was something that could have broken both Yuuta and Sayuri's hearts since they knew what their parents had been feeling happy about would shatter into pieces when the time comes…

"Don't worry, I will bring it for you."

As Mio said, she got a hearty smile from Shio before she stood up and left the group to bring Shio's lucky band from the classroom.

Back in school, the Trinity cup was undergoing with the second day of the tournament about to commence.

On the first day, Shio and his group managed to pass the rounds and advance to the next stage with three other schools too.

Mio naturally came on both days to support her friends along with Rin.

The crowd has started to fill the ground with the staff working diligently to prepare the tracks and props needed for the competition.

"Hey, Mio."

"Hello."

While on her way to the classroom, many students greeted her since Mio was relatively famous due to her participation in sports and her cool looks.

However, Mio always replied to those greetings rather dazedly since she was constantly thinking about a certain boy.

Despite not letting anyone know, Mio was missing Yuuta beyond words. She really wanted to be with him. While cheering or roaming in the empty school, she likes all this only when he is around.

But here she couldn't even call him since she knew that it would distract him from his family trip.

'Ah, here I go again….'

Shrugging such weary thoughts, Mio climbed the stairs and entered inside the classroom only to become stiff at her place.

Since very few students were allowed to use classrooms, Mio wasn't expecting anyone at this hour, but there stood a boy near the desk where her bag was kept.

Strangely she seemed to be familiar with the guy, but right now, she wasn't focused on his identity but rather on the thing he was doing.

Focusing carefully, Mio concluded that the boy seemed to be sniffing something in a weird manner before she lost her cool and went to confront him.

"Hey, what are y-Kyouya?!"

Just when her voice resounded in the empty classroom the raven-haired guys stood up in fluster and hid the thing he was smelling behind his back.

Mio was shocked entirely since the guy was none other than her friend back from middle school whom she met some days ago when she was going on a date with Yuuta.

"Ah, M-Mio. Long time no s-see."

Mio had no mood to greet the guy at the moment since her focus was solely dwelled on the thing he kept behind his back.

Narrowing her gaze, Mio spoke in a cold tone, "What is it, you hid behind your back? Show me right now!"

Kyouya stepped back in a panic as the blood from his face evaporated, and paleness spread like a sheet.

"N-Nothing… "

"Don't lie to me!"

Mio also started stepping forward, following Kyouya until his back didn't collide with the wall.

Kyouya looked at the girl for several seconds wordlessly as his breathing became ragged and his mind went into a frenzy. He seemed to be losing his calm which resulted in the following event.

"Ah!"

Mio yelped when Kyouya suddenly grabbed her wrist and pressed her against the wall. Mio tried to break free, but Kyouya seemed to be strangely stronger than he seemed.

A chill of disgust ran down her spine as she felt Kyouya sniffing her nape as he whispered in a heavy tone.

"I can't control myself any longer, Mio. I need you right here, and right now!!"
